Fantastic experience: The office staff has been helpful and courteous. The instructors helped my child learn well and gain confidence in their driving abilities. Thank you for your help!

Negative experience: JUST GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! This place was so bad, I came back to see if they were still open. You'll figure out fast the goal here is to get your $. Told me to wait at the green light too. The law is wait at the intersection until it's safe to go through. Green lights don't get much greener, no matter how long u wait there. It's to dock points. The goal is to get u to pay again for another test with them unless you paid for their classes. "People who take our classes tend to pass more often." Oh, so if I would've spent more $ here, right. I immediately understood what was going on. If you failed and are now reading the reviews, try not to get too down. You'll do way better elsewhere.

Negative experience: Like anyone I was very nervous to take my drivers test, nevertheless I walked into the test very confident I was going to pass at least with an 80% because of how much practice I had and I studied the book very hard. We did my test and I thought everything went fine. Was I perfect? Of course not! But I thought for sure I was going to at least pass. We arrived back at the school and the instructor proceeds to tell me all of these reason as to why I failed, some making almost no sense to me. He told me I failed the parking up the hill test but from my recollection there was absolutely no hill, was I supposed to be imagining there was a hill because that was not discussed before said test. He then asked me “now, did you know you were parking up a hill?” I reply with “no sir I honestly did not” he then tells me “well there was a hill so I think you clearly did” then why ask me if I knew in the first place? I do struggle with anxiety very bad. At this point I was almost on the verge of tears because I was very overwhelmed and I felt like he was trying to say I was lying and not being truthful about this make believe hill. He proceeds to tell me all these other things I didn’t do and I’m simply just listening to him, letting him speak. He stops talking and all of the sudden says “do you even want to hear what I have to say because it doesn’t really seem like you do” I was VERY taken back by this question because of course I want to know what I did wrong so that I can fix it right? I mean why would he ever even ask me that? I felt that was so unprofessional and I gave him no reason to snap at me with an attitude. Was it because I was visibly upset I failed my test and was being accused of lying? Has he never had a student be upset upon failure? Moving forward, he finally tells me I can retake the test then and there and that all I needed to do was go and pay and he would retest me. I’m sorry but why on earth would I go take another test with you if you’ve 1. upset me (which would effect my driving/concentration during the test), 2. Told me I did multiple things wrong, and 3. You accused me of lying to you on this drivers test? Why would YOU personally want to retest with me right away anyways?? It makes no sense to me. I went and took my drivers test THE NEXT DAY at driving 101 and I passed with a 98%. Do not come here unless you want to fail your drivers test the first time and have a rude sassy instructor!

Fantastic experience: The team at 911 is professional and kind. Their top priorities seem to be safety and success for the students. I definitely recommend them over other local schools.

Negative experience: Very disappointed!! One of the instructors was making overly critical judgments, not having anything to do with driving safely, according to my friend. My friends score was 79%. Right after the test he was ready to cash in on another $65 so my friend could take it again. What a scam! Definitely do NOT recommend going here for your driving test!

Fantastic experience: If you can drive you will get a license if not you will be failed lol don’t blame them u should thank them for keeping our roads safe blame the student that isn’t ready for the road.

Negative experience: I successfully completed my parallel park and used my left turn signal to exit. There were no cars behind me initially, but a car appeared as I was already pulling out. Despite this, the instructor used the stop brake, ended the test, and made me drive back to the school. He claimed there were two cars coming when there was only one. This experience was frustrating and felt unfair, as I wasted my $65. Additionally, the instructor's rude behavior and actions caused me a lot of anxiety. Not only that, but they had me drive an SUV, which is not fair because it is harder to maneuver and has large blind spots. They should warn you before the test and let you know you'll be driving a bigger vehicle.

Fantastic experience: Took my drive there today! Patrick was great! Communicated everything very well. And was great at giving explanations where any points were docked at the end of the drive! Awesome place!

Fantastic experience: Both my kids attended this driving school. The instructors did a fine job. The school also helped them pass their tests and get their licenses. It's next door to Los Potrillos. That is an advantage and disadvantage. The downside is that parking is difficult when the school is in session. The upside is you can hang out and enjoy a margarita while your kid is in school. Negative experience: My son went to his driving he’s 32 years old and unfortunately has been driving for sometime! They even told him he didn’t turn his blinker on to back out of a driveway. He didn’t stay stopped at the green light long enough to look for drunk drivers, lots of crazy stuff like that, he went in a neighborhood and he was not close enough to the cars on the side that he touched the middle line. There was no lines it’s a residential area. They made him more nervous about taking the test in Washington than I could’ve ever imagined. I’m sorry at that point that I had him move over here with me , I will be calling Washington because the videos they told us to watch that could be in it. All that stuff was not in it. He was told from day one if he would’ve spent more money did the 30 minute drive before and watch all the videos that he would’ve passed. That people that spend more tend to pass more often How is that not a scam? We have found another place. Do not go to that one target is pretty good. We’ve got a appointment else where. And I’ve also been told confident driving is a very good one

Negative experience: Absolute trash charge everything learn nothing not helpful....come here if you'd like to fail your test

Negative experience: This place has no mercy for people and their money. My Son had second driving test scheduled, paid 65. My son forgot his ID and was told to reschedule. I called and was told it would be another $50. Mind you that the instructor was already there for other test takers. This place is a scam. I would advise to seek other locations to take driving test.

Negative experience: Don’t come to this place. Many people including myself have been scammed. Not real teachers just a bunch of people who don’t want to actually teach they just want to scam you for money and except you to learn everything on your own.

Negative experience: I had a horrible experience the instructors just wasted my time rude and yelled Thank god somebody told me about On Target driving school and it was awesome my daughter will also go there. I write reviews so they can train their instructors more ethics

Negative experience: Horrible driving instructor!! Docked 4-5 points for starting to drive when the light turned green instead of looking both ways before driving in a controlled intersection even though every one else floored it in still drive off slowly. Docked another 4-5 points for not stopping in a 4 way street in a neighborhood with no stop sign in my side and there weren’t any cars coming in all sides of me. Also took 4-5 points away because I waited for a car to enter their driveway and drove past them once they were in but she noticed they pulled back out after I passed and claimed I should have waited until they were 100% done, which that’s not even a part of the score sheet. Had to take the test 3 times just under the passing percentage each time because of her own personal score sheet and a bunch of tiny mistakes that she’s recommend I fix in the future. Also the information in the pamphlets that have links to use to study aren’t really in the driving test either.

Fantastic experience: Awesome class and instructors

Negative experience: Rude and horrible instructors! They dont teach you to drive, they teach you to pass the test. Waste of time and money on top of your childs state of mind and self worth when you leave this place. These so called ex cops treat you like a criminal while they are suppose to be teaching your child to be safe and operate a car.

Fantastic experience: My eldest daughter took the drivers Ed course over the summer, they did a fantastic job at teaching and emphasizing the importance of safety. We look forward to seeing you next summer with my next child!

Bob Kadow was my main driving couch and was excellent in his instructions and gave me the confidence I needed to drive again as I had been out of the country for 18 years. Fantastic experience: Went through this program with my first child and after four years they are still accident and ticket free. They seemed pretty responsive to special needs and my child felt comfortable there. I will be coming back with my second and third as well.

Fantastic experience: The staff there are amazing. They taught my autistic son to drive and I never thought that would be possible. They were always ready to answer questions and even recommended I sit in on a couple of classes and one drive so I could better help him at home. A great place to learn.

Negative experience: I was failed for yielding at a roundabout that someone else was entering because he “didn’t see them” and not turning right on a red light because I “could have gone”. This place just wants your money, that became clear when I was told to take their driving course after already overpaying for appointments. I’ve been driving for years and am known amongst my peers as a very good driver. This place will mark you down for ANYTHING, including obeying signs and traffic laws. You could do everything right and still fail because it is in their interest that you do not pass and need to pay for another test AND a course lesson. Just go somewhere else, this place will make you feel like a failure for no reason and try to steal your money. I also did not get a refund for canceling my rescheduled appointment two days prior. TERRIBLE PLACE.

Fantastic experience: 911 was fabulous for drivers Ed. Instructors were thorough and fair and really helped prepare my son for driving. We’ve already enrolled my daughter for her drivers Ed and can’t say enough great things about them.

Fantastic experience: My twin daughters are currently enrolled in 911 Driving School in Camas. I am so pleased with the high quality instruction and experience that my kids are receiving. The front office staff is amazing and very helpful. I definitely recommend 911 Driving School.

Fantastic experience: My 16yo son has been ready to get his Driver’s Permit for a number of months, and his first go-around on the Knowledge Test- he came up a couple points short of passing. The 911 staff reassured him not to worry and that the retake would be just fine. As a parent, I appreciated their support and calming affect. He passed the retake 2 weeks later with flying colors and is now slated for the Drivers Ed segment in June and finished in July. He will be eligible to get his License in September. The 911 team has been very accommodating for some rescheduling moments because of my work schedule changes and always very cordial and professional.

Fantastic experience: We've used 9-1-1 for our three teen drivers and it's been a great, effective experience for each of them. I recommend it for any new driver.

Fantastic experience: Our son was a student in 2021 and had a great experience; our daughter starts her course next month and we expect much of the same. This is a reliable course that provides great, hands on experience and training for new drivers.

Fantastic experience: The classroom instruction is good and the office staff are extremely helpful with scheduling drives and answering general questions. The preferred amount of weekly teen driving time with parents during the weeks of the class was higher than expected, so knowing that up front would be helpful. The instructors are experienced and Marty in particular was excellent!!! He provided extremely helpful coaching and guidance that really helped our son learn, and understand areas he needs to strengthen his skills and develop his confidence. The knowledge test is included in the cost and they offer the driving test too. Super convenient and highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: We've had several kids train here and all have gone onto incident free driving records. One went to another school in Camas and promptly drove through a closed garage door, so make of that what you will. I highly recommend 911 of Camas.

Fantastic experience: We were very happy with all the instructors and the ladies in the office! They are very professional and did a great job teaching my son to drive. We will soon have our 2nd driver taking lessons, he cannot wait!

Fantastic experience: Positive environment, very different then what my other child experienced at a cheaper place. Far from building 'confidence', that place tore kids down, this is all about building UP and giving solid education. Safe environment, solid teaching, and worth every extra penny for the better teaching and preparation. I LOVE how constructive they are!

Very professional, very easy to work with the website is easy to navigate and if you have even just a quick question click on "contact us" and like magic you'll have an answer back like that! Everybody's real nice but firm (drivers don't forget to bring your ID and PERMIT every time!) You almost forget they're all cops till that happens - it only happened once I can tell ya that! Overall great job, my son learned valuable driving skills but what sets these guys apart is they pass along pearls of wisdom along the way so kids PAY ATTENTION you'll be glad you did!

Fantastic experience: We have had an outstanding experience with 911 camas! The instructors are fantastic, they are funny and connected to their students. The office gals are thorough with their explanations and walking you through the process start to finish! My daughters have very busy sports schedules that made scheduling a challenge. Everyone has been extremely accommodating, from getting them into last minute openings, scheduling drives and getting them to their complete status! Hands down a favorite experience! They took a new uncharted chapter in our lives, that can be fraught with nerves and stress and made it smooth and fun!!!

The testers were patient, acknowledging applicants were stressed, and did their best to ease tthe situation. Fantastic experience: My daughter got the instruction she needed from the empathic and practical instructors. While the classroom instruction was intense, the partnership forged between the instructors and parents has produced a safe driver. When my next kid is ready to learn, we will be coming back.

Positive experience: Would have been perfect but in the end they would not allow drives to be scheduled AFTER school. So I had to take my child out of school early to do final drive. All due to not enough staff.

Negative experience: Instructors are very rude, abusive and lack in communication skills. I hired this school to do 3 private drives to help my student get past her fears and all they did was make it worse. We would walk in and never was there a proper introduction from the instructors just lots of negative gossip going on. Very unprofessional and intimidating. Shameful for police officers.

Negative experience: Awful disgusting establishment. My daughter, while on a drive, was told he was taking her to the forest to kill her. And the owner actually was mad at me for contacting a police officer for questions. She berated me and my daughter. I assumed since these are ex police officers my child would feel safe. Very unfortunate and unprofessional. Terrible terrible terrible do not take your kids here. She refused to let my daughter take her final testing at her business because she was so sensitive and I should rethink letting her drive on her own.

Negative experience: Didn’t even test for 5 minutes before I was told to go back to the parking lot, and got no explanation as to why but was told I failed. I went to on target immediately after and passed my test with a 100%, when I told bob at on target that I previously failed, he thought I was joking, he asked where I went and he said 911to which he replied “oh that makes sense”. Don’t go here, they will fail you on any small thing just you you can come back for the good price each time, go to on target off of 4th plain and ask for bob! Only $80 for 30 of minutes practice before the test in their car and the a smooth transition to the test

Fantastic experience: Good experience! We were a little bummed when we found out class was still on Zoom but it ended up working out ok! My daughter LOVED her instructor Lee. She enjoyed her drive instructors too. Passed both written and drive FIRST attempt!!!!

Fantastic experience: Really nice driving school. Put 2 of my girls in it and now a third is attending, they all really enjoyed it and I have heard great things about their staff. A week ago my daughter needed to cancel a behind a wheel drive because she was at school and no one could pick her up and when I told the instructor he went out of his way to pick her up at her school so we didn’t have to pay the $50 rescheduling fee and so that she could get her drive in. Love 911 driving school, plan to put my fourth daughter though it as well when she comes of age!!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, my son plays sports so was concerned about him being able to make all the classes, fortunately the Sat/Sun option was available and all of their classes are via Zoom so very easy to manage. You schedule the drives yourself so plan what works best with your schedule! We did have to make up a couple of classes during the session which they allow and were great to work with doing so.

Fantastic experience: When I’ve reached out with questions about registration, the staff have been so helpful and kind. We look forward to driving lessons and classes for our teenager. We’ve heard great things about 911 Driving School of Camas from our friends.
