Fantastic experience: My daughter attended the Aiken Driving School and was able to learn how to fine tune her driving skills. The staff is great, easy to communicate with and top notch.

Negative experience: Ran by messy, smart-mouthed people and they will take your money and then get mad at you for not knowing how to drive even though it's a driving school. They don't teach you anything of substance, the driving instructor will watch your mistakes, make stank faces while they text about you to whoever and do/say nothing to help improve the driving. Then after the fact, they will text your parent and tell them how awful your driving is and how you’re going to have to subscribe to yet another $400 worth of lessons in order to improve. Just do it the old fashioned way & teach your children on your own. You’re really only paying for the extra brakes in the car. If I’m paying for a package I’m expecting you to teach me everything & leave the classes a decent driver. That $400 could’ve went to RENT.

We wish you had reached out to us directly before posting a negative review. Nevertheless, we would like to assist future customers with some important information. According to South Carolina law, if you are 15 or 16 years old, you must complete a Driver Education package. This package requires that your teenager has already completed 40 hours of driving practice before enrolling with ADS, divided into 30 hours during the day and 10 hours at night. We understand that many parents may be hesitant to practice driving with their children, but it is essential to note that the Driver's Ed package includes only 6 hours of driving instruction designed to prepare your teen for the skills test. Therefore, if the state mandates 40 hours of driving practice, the 6 hours provided in the Driver's Ed course, which focuses primarily on skill development, will not suffice for comprehensive driving education. To address the concerns of this particular customer, we want to clarify that our contact information has remained unchanged. We encourage you to contact us if you require additional training to obtain your license. We do not engage in unethical practices, and we find the false claims about our business on Google reviews unacceptable. We will be requesting that Google remove this misleading post.

Fantastic experience: Very excellent driving school! I attended the Driver Improvement/DD with 4 Point Reduction class and it was very interactive and the instructor was great. Learned a lot. Also they offered the lowest price for this class out of all the driving schools in Aiken. Thank you Aiken Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Defensive driving skills are needed today. Aiken Driving School's class is excellent because of the dynamic teacher. The AAA course material could be updated a little bit.
