Fantastic experience: Great place to get hands on truck driving experience & Preparation for CDL DMV hands on. I will say nothing comes easy if the individual is not motivated. Great instructors that are willing to help and guide future CDL Drivers to achieve their license. Granted no place is perfect, So there is some minor downfalls about this place but what place doesn’t have its flaws. SHOUT OUT to MR Singh, Mike, Dave, Javier, Ladies @ the front Desk.

Fantastic experience: hi Desert trucking school is a great school to start they have a lot of trucks available Mike and David are great instructors They are very helpful I did it in 2 1/2 weeks. Got my CDL but the program is eight weeks if you study hard and come at least 3 to 4 times a week. You could get it in 3 to 4 weeks. No problem

Fantastic experience: 10/10 The guys there are really cool, david a instructor there is very cool and laid back in a positive way. He teaches you everything that you need to know guy has tons of patience doesn’t make you feel tense and is straight forward on if you need to work on something to get you set before your appointment. Mike is also another very cool instructor, isn’t yelling or downplaying your driving. Will recommend to anyone who asks me in the future!

Positive experience: I’m going to talk about the pros first. Two out of the three instructors, very respectful instructors funny and always want to help. They have a lot of information and they are always willing to help you with any problems you have (pre-trip, air brakes, skills, on road). It is nice that they are open early since many of us work during the mid day. I passed my Class A test and it seems to be that this school has the highest passing rate which is very impressive. Cons: very unorganized, one instructor very disrespectful, only had one chance to use the truck because of my contract and I needed driving time and he threw the keys on the floor. Said Instructor is just disrespectful and many students have had numerous of arguments and altercations with this instructor. I don’t think he means it (certainly hope not) but for what it is, it is down right wrong to the way this instructor treats some of the students and even other instructors. There is a lot more for both sides, this is just my take. By all means this school is great but needs to be run by someone else.

Fantastic experience: Coming from Victorville. School is great the papers they give you to study with are awesome! Better than any other schools in the high desert. I’ve seen my buddys go to different schools and fail cause the materials they give them suck! But this school gives you all the right things you need and help. Just ask they are always more than happy to help you. May be far from Victorville but its worth it. The instructors pushed me and helped me get my license in 6 weeks! 10/10 recommend the school. Thanks again guys!

Fantastic experience: First and foremost I just passed my dmv test and I couldn’t be more excited and satisfied, High Desert Trucking school is great ! It was recommended to me by my brother so of course I gave it a shot. The school goes step by step, pretrip, airbrakes, in-cabin test and then 3 reverse skills after that it’s behind the wheel driving. Overall I’m content with everything from the staff, the school and the equipment. Best school in the Antelope Valley, definitely recommend!

Positive experience: So I got exactly what I came for, which was my Class A CDL, so they go the job done. It is a good school overall and they will prepare and almost over prepare you for the DMV test which is a good thing. You do have to make sure though that you are a very proactive and independent person though. Speak up if you need help, they will not come to you. There are a few minor things that could be improved. I did feel that the student to instructor ratio was a pretty off balance, being how many students the school was trying to take on while only having 3 or 4 instructors available for each session. There also seems to bei a lot of confusion when it comes to any order of who can go on what truck at what time to practice either skills or driving (which honestly can be solved with a $20 white board from Walmart in my opinion). But overall like I said the school helped me get what I needed so I can say with confidence that this school can help you too!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely the best trucking school in SoCal. What I love about this place, is that they get down to business. I went for my class B license. Genni in the office was extremely helpful in answering any questions I had throughout the process. Her professionalism and kindness made me feel welcomed immediately upon arrival. Mr. Singh , Robert, and Mr Manjidt made sure I was 100% ready for my DMV skills test. The whole process may seem overwhelming at first, but the entire staff is there for whatever you need. Positive experience: I passed!! First time to the DMV was a success because of the rigorous training I did at HDTDS. Outstanding instructors were the name of the game for me. Mr. Singh, Brother Robert and Mr. Manjit were my biggest influences to pass. Their instruction was top notch. It's a small place which proves to be valid because when you do the DMV skills test, you'll find that the blind parallel parking maneuver is easier to do as the DMV's box is bigger. If you can do the skills at school, you'll kill it at the skills grounds! Thanks to the entire staff at HIGH DESERT TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL!!

Dad is a great trainer and he goes out of his way to make sure you understand what's needed to get the knowledge! the owner and his wife are off the chain, very nice and friendly. I definitely learned alot and highly recommend anyone looking to get a cdl go through this school. I was able to pass first try. I was nervous at first but I was able to use the advice the instructors gave me to calm the nerves. They giver priority to whoever may need more time and for that I am grateful. Check them out. Fantastic experience: Hi Desert Truck Driving School is great because they allow you to progress at your own pace. The school makes it is easy to work around your regular schedule and get your trucking license, and get it fast! If you want your trucking license fast and you want time behind the wheel regularly, this is the place for you. They also have a huge flat lot to practice your parking skills. It makes it easier to learn your parking skills and gets you prepared for what you will be tested on at the DMV. Hi Desert Truck Driving school is also very easy to make appointments with the DMV in Lancaster which is a huge deal. When you make your driving test appointment with the DMV, Hi Desert Truck Driving School accommodates and works with their schedule in advance to get you a truck for when you are ready for your test. Other driving schools do not offer that freedom and those schools are in control of your test date with the DMV, which are booked so far away, and if you have to reschedule it is a nightmare! I highly recommend Hi Desert Truck Driving School if you want to get your license fast and go at the pace that works with your schedule.

Fantastic experience: From the office staff that makes the financial and paperwork run smoothly. The staff/instructors that pass on training of years of experience and give some knowledge of what to expect while on the road on you career. Simple reading material and videos that are very helpful. In cab backup driving skills that can be difficult but with their training are learned and mastered. Thankful for all the training and patience that I passed DMV test on the first time!!!

Fantastic experience: My experience here was life changing. They are also a lot cheaper than most schools and have payment plans. The staff was really helpful and was very patient with me. They helped me through every stage of getting my class A license. Even when I failed they stood with me and gave me time with the truck. I highly recommend coming here.

For anyone out their that is interested in a self starter course to obtain a class A license this course is for you! Also this course is about half the cost of hiring on with a company that provides internal training and certs and when you’ve completed this course you walk away with your CDL in hand without singing a contract!
