Fantastic experience: Highly recommend the Drivers School and M School!

Fantastic experience: I had the opportunity to come here for a work event(Polaris) and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life. The employees here were all absolutely amazing. Shout out to Matt, one of the professional drivers who was not only super friendly but getting to experience riding in the M5 with him, better than every ride at Disney. There was also another guy named Bill who told me he worked in HR that was helping out made the whole event way more enjoyable. I wish i had more names to shout out, but everyone i met working at the event today was great. I can’t afford a BMW yet but after today i definitely want buy one. Y’all were amazing. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely amazing

Fantastic experience: My wife and I picked up her new BMW at the Performance Center. From the moment we walked in at 8am to when we drove away at 3pm, it was a first class experience. We were able to drive the same model on the track experiencing drifting for the first time and a spirited slalom/road course (five laps each). Then, we spent almost two hours with Seth, the premier Product Specialist, who went through every detail of the vehicle from exterior to interior to controls. Lunch was provided and was delicious and plentiful. Afterwards, a lap around the off-road course in an X5M (I would never believe what the X series vehicles could do off-road unless I did it myself at 24 degree side slope on two wheels) and then a factory tour. I can't wait to go back for M Driving School!

Negative experience: We recently bought a brand new BMW i7 and were offered a New Owners Performance driving package as a part of the purchase. When called to try to schedule it, got a run around and eventually and email saying that the school cannot be scheduled as "the BMW is used", which is obiously a mistake on their end. What a scam, and I thought that BMW is a company that I could trust!

Fantastic experience: I did a PCD delivery yesterday and if you are getting a BMW, I cannot recommend this enough. Seth, my main contact in this process was so helpful and accommodating, especially when Helene derailed my first pick up day and Milton almost derailed the second (and all the while he and his colleagues were dealing with the aftermath of Helene). Justin also a credit to the place. But the track part is amazing. Clint showed us how to do a 360 on the wet, polished concrete skid pad and then put the safety controls back on and push it to safely do the same skid pad without spinning out. Plus ABS brake training runs, and the slaloms to learn that where your eyes are looking is where the car is going to go. You also take X5s on the off road course and see just how capable they are off road. Elisia provided a great look at the factory, and lunch was excellent. Then it's time for the big reveal of your new vehicle. Stan was my delivery specialist and to say he was thorough is an understatement - and also friendly and funny. Again, BMW enthusiasts should not miss this experience. And it is a no cost option when you order a BMW.

Fantastic experience: Did a 1 day driving course here and learned a TON! Never knew what these cars were capable of. In the classroom we were given instructions and then taken out on the track to perform…..in the rain nonetheless!!! Reid, James and Mike did an amazing job of guiding us with patient yet precise instruction. Had a blast and really challenged myself and the cars. All 3 of these gentlemen really cheered us on and made it a fun exciting day! Really looking forward to getting back. We even got to ride with them (who are all professional drivers) and REALLY got to witness what these machines could do!

Negative experience: The staff and instructors on-site: 5 Star BMW Corporate: 0 Star When I purchased my first BMW the Performace center experience was excellent! BMW provided lodging in Greenville, and the driving day was a FULL DAY (8 hours of driving on the track lead follow, off road, skid pad, threshold breaking, lunch and a factory tour)! When I purchased my second BMW I was so excited about the previous rollout that I PAID EXTRA to bring people with me. I called the BMW Performance hotline and told them I wanted the exact same thing as last time for me and my guests. I was attempting to pull other "purists" over to a true "driving machine!" Hotel lodging was not included they said, but no biggie! I was told this time we would be driving even more!!! The morning finally came! We had all driven from hours away, but were SO excited about this BIG DAY! We all arrived early for class at 0800, we were on the track by 0830, and the entire event was FINISHED by 0945. This was a complete disappointment for me and the group I had brought. No lunch was provided, and the museum and plant were closed. I called BMW and was told there was nothing that could be done. I have owned several BMWs - clown shoe, Jahre, CS.... sadly this will probably be the last. It could have been great : /

Fantastic experience: I attended the 1-Day M School and was really impressed with the entire experience. The staff was great and did an amazing job with actual instruction, both in the classroom and out on the track. We spent most of the day driving under the direct supervision of the instructors and they gave lots of actionable guidance all day long. I have a fair amount of track experience and felt like I learned a lot from the day there. Definitely looking forward to coming back for one of the most advanced courses.

Fantastic experience: The few times I've been to an event, it was fun.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I picked up our X3 M40i from the Performance Center and it was incredible. We got to spend a couple hours on one of their tracks and off road course with Andy, one of their professional drivers. He was great at teaching us how to handle the track and gave us tips on how to improve our daily driving in real life. We also got to do a hot lap with him driving that was thrilling. After a great lunch with them we spent 3 hours with Thomas going over our new vehicle and getting it set up exactly the way we wanted. Everyone we dealt with at BMW was courteous and knowledgeable. The accommodations at Hotel Hartness was also 5 star. We will do it again.

Fantastic experience: The ride of a lifestyle!

Fantastic experience: Took my twin girls there two days of rain and they had a blast learning how to control vehicles in all conditions. It’s been a few years but each has told me they learned skills which they have had to use in the real world.

Fantastic experience: If you haven't done a performance drive, definitely add that to your list. You get to take the X line of SUVs and take them over some rugged terrain and even through water. Then you do then M-Sport and M line of cars and take them through the track. We got the X5 M60i for the off road section, and we got M-editions of the Z4 and 2 series as well as the M4 competition, M5 competition, and X3M

Fantastic experience: The BMW Performance Center is Disney for adults! I loved every moment of my time there and the Rider Academy Authority School was some of the hardest, but best training I have ever received! I will most definitely be going back!

Fantastic experience: Attended the Off Road Rider Academy. This is a top notch program and the entire team on the front lines and behind the scenes is incredible. The facilities were immaculate, the lunches top rated restaurant quality,  and the training grounds perfectly suited to teach the large variety of skills. Every one I came across was friendly, personable, helpful and truly wanted to create a positive experience. Even better than all of the above was the team of instructors and the support vehicle driver who was always there to lend a hand. Roberto, Jodi, Jason, Caleb and Mackenzie all did a perfect job. I wasn't 100% sure what to expect going in. I am a decent rider who knows training is key to improving and I definitely learned and improved. Mainly the new view of operating a large bike in such a manner was different than my previous riding experiences. It was fun to really learn the slow finesse vs just ripping through the trails. I have many hours of flight instructing and really appreciate how the program uses the building blocks to advance step by step in the same way. The curriculum was well thought out and effective. Some of the exercises seemed a spec basic at first but in practice they are definitely worthwhile. They forced us to break bad habits and follow proper form through repetition. ALL of the instructors are super fun, encouraging and genuinely want everyone to improve. I especially liked our farewell Enduro ride. We broke into groups and I think we're given an ever more challenging run that gave us confidence and pride that we really did learn some things. Apologize for the long review but If you are looking to improve off road no matter your prior experience you will have a great time! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Hands down best place to learn skills, no matter one’s level. Instructors are highly skilled, empathetic. I have done three 1:1 over the last year, with Danny & Richie. My friend is doing the msf like course. Both worth it.

Fantastic experience: 1 Day Off-road motorcycle training with Jason was exactly what I needed to give my skills a precision tuneup to take on more challenging terrain as well as help to avoid any distracted drivers on the street.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I recently had the pleasure of participating in the new owner track drive at the BMW Performance Center, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived for check-in at 7:45 am, everything was seamless and well-organized. We were greeted with the convenience of a coffee machine, a small but appreciated touch. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the off-road experience. It’s not every day you get to navigate through water and tackle hills with uneven surfaces, all in a safe and controlled environment. This part of the day was exhilarating and allowed us to test the capabilities of these incredible vehicles in a unique setting. The track experience was nothing short of phenomenal. We had the opportunity to drive the M2, M4, and M5 for over 10 laps per person. The performance and handling of these cars were beyond impressive, offering a true sense of the engineering marvel that BMW is known for. But the experience didn’t stop there. After testing our skills on the track, we were treated to a session with an expert driver. This included drifting and shifting demonstrations that were both educational and thrilling. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this event to all new BMW owners. It’s not just about driving; it’s about understanding and experiencing what your car is capable of in a safe and exciting environment. We give it a perfect score: 10 out of 10!

Fantastic experience: We bought our daughter 1 day M School for her 18th birthday, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The whole day was so well organized, educational and most of all so much fun! As soon as we walked in we connected with David Dalton who took amazing care of our daughter and helped all of us to have the best day. He is engaging, kind and patient. We cannot wait to return to do a private lesson with the whole family. I highly recommend BMW Performance Center, the only downside is you might get addicted!

BMW focuses on safety and driver confidence and being able to drive their vehicles under all kinds of conditions really boosted my confidence in the brand. The instructors are top-notch and they they know the capabilities of the vehicles inside and out. We did this trip once before about 12 years ago and have always wanted to go back. We finally did! Highly, highly recommend not only the driving school but BMW as a brand.

Fantastic experience: I did a 3 day women’s only off-road training. The training was well managed. The staffs were encouraging and helpful and tried to keep all trainees safe in 95deg weather.

Fantastic experience: Wow had a company outing. The drivers were funny and very friendly. The cars were amazing and experiencing the drive was insane. I have to admit that I never would have thought the X5 performs off road very well. Definitely learned about driving. Cool tips and tricks. But hands down respect to professional drivers.

Fantastic experience: I recently took delivery of my new BMW X3M Competition at the BMW Performance Center, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. From start to finish, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, making me feel welcome and excited about my new car. The highlight of the experience was definitely the track exercises, where I got to push a car similar to which I purchased to its limits and learned more about its capabilities in a safe, controlled environment. But the experience didn't end there - after the track exercises, the staff provided me with a BMW X5, which I drove to the BMW Zentrum for a tour of the museum. The museum was amazing - I learned about BMW's history all the way up to the present, and got to see all different models of cars from past to present. It was fascinating to see how BMW has evolved over the years, and to learn about the innovations and technologies that have made BMW one of the world's leading car manufacturers. After the museum tour, I drove back to the performance center for an off-road course, which allowed me to experience the off-road capabilities of some of the BMW X Models and X-Drive System. After which we returned to the performance center for lunch, When lunch was over I had one on one time with a delivery specialist, who went over the features of my new car and answered all of my questions. The specialist was knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic, and made sure that I was comfortable and confident with my new car before I left. Overall, my experience at the BMW Performance Center was absolutely unforgettable. The center provides a unique and memorable experience that truly enhances the ownership experience, and the staff is top-notch in every way. If you have the opportunity to visit the BMW Performance Center and BMW Zentrum, I highly recommend that you do so.

Fantastic experience: My son did the two day teen driver program and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fun, exciting and informative. Great, friendly and well experienced staff and teachers. I just wish they had some viewing areas for parents to see the kids pushing the limits on the test tracks. I'm sure they don't want hover parents interfering, but maybe even just cameras and screens in the cafe/lounge to watch.

Fantastic experience: I had the privilege of participating in BMW Performance Delivery and the Performance Center could not have done a better job. Every single person there was friendly and knowledgeable. Being able to get on the track with their M cars was nerve racking, intense, exciting and thrilling. Special thanks to the following individuals…our lead instructor Clint Kimel, Mr. Kimel was extremely nice, provided us with ample knowledge during our classroom briefing and was a great hands-on instructor during the off roading course. Our hands-on track instructor Donnie Isley, Mr. Isley was extremely technical & hilariously funny. His instructions were detailed and cleared (even though I wasn’t the best student :D). This man knows his way around a car, I would say doing the hot lap with him was the highlight of the experience. And last but not least thank you to Thomas for being a great delivery point of contact. Thomas was extremely friendly and patience. He took this time with going over everything about my car. I hope to be able to return one day.

Fantastic experience: 4/13/23 This place is AWSOME!!!

Fantastic experience: We probably picked one of the worst weather days you could pick in April for the one day off-road motorcycle training. It was 39 degrees and raining all day. The rain made the ground slippery and even more challenging. We were there to learn, and mistakes happened. I had more than my fair share. The instructors were professional and clearly had the patience of your average kindergarten teacher. (That's a good thing). Things I knew and wish I would have taken more seriously. 1. Be physically ready for the course. I came in from Michigan and had little time on the pegs (not seat) before coming down. 2. Nothing is waterproof, so have a change of gear at lunch if it is raining. 3. Don't be scared of the 1250. It is easier to ride than the 850. 4. Start with motocross boots if you have them. You don't do much shifting, and you stand on the pegs all the time. Overall, I could not be happier. I did not have the stamina for the 2 day course. I am not ready for a BDR, but I am closer, and I have good skills to practice. Ps. South Carolina mud makes you feel special.

Fantastic experience: What an experience omg! We have two M3s and this was a surprise I set up for my husband prior to COVID, we rescheduled so many times due to COVID and other circumstances but we finally made it!!! My husband was so happy and had a blast doing the one day M course! Everyone was super friendly and explained what the schedule for the day would like to perfectly! The instructors were very professional, helpful and knowledgeable at their craft! We will definitely come back for me to do the same course my husband did!

Fantastic experience: First day on the job thru a temporary service agency. I loved the atmosphere, and the friendlyness,respectfullness,and being patient with me while trying to learn the rules and regulations,also after my first tour of areas that are required to be constantly attended to without assistance as a banquet server, buffet helper, stocker and dishwasher helper was no problem. I would love to be a helper at the BMW Performance Center again when needed if available at the time. Thank you to all the kitchen employees for showing me the way.

Fantastic experience: Great facility with an experienced and talented staff. I had a great experience driving a variety of cars. I highly recommend trying one of the many programs offered. The problem now is I want an M4 Competition as a daily...... someday.

Negative experience: One Teen Driving instructor is a high school bully who singles out students in the beginning and mocks them mercilessly in front of the whole class for the duration of the course. This instructor doesn't actually teach. He's too busy laughing at the students' lack of knowledge and skill, and cracking jokes about students' personal appearance. Who would pay so much money just to have their teen subjected to such abuse? Highly disappointing experience.

Fantastic experience: Had a blast doing the one day M performance school. It was worth every penny spent. The morning consists of lessons and 3 different driving courses, and the afternoon was another 3 events with some time challenges. Spent most of the day behind the wheel going fast or braking hard but always looking at what is ahead. I'll be back for the two day at sometime in the future.

Fantastic experience: What an amazing day at this world-class location! I attended a full-day M-Performance course as part of a corporate event. I am already a car guy with a fair amount of driving experience, but I still learned things and came out an even better driver at the end of the day. Every single event, car, and trainer was top notch. Lunch was provided mid day and was also very good. You will not be disappointed in this place!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant place. We did a 2 day off-road riding course and it was the best riding experience we've had. Great trails, great experience, amazing instructors and last of all, great bikes that you can drop all you want and not feel bad about. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience, we did the performance drive 2 hr experience. You get to drive 5 different bmws for 3 times each around a road course. Then got to do an off road like course in an x5 going through 20 inches of water, steep incline and decline, and other hazards. At the end your instructor will drive you around the track and show you how it's really done.

Fantastic experience: My company took over 50 employees to the Performance Center for a team experience/employee appreciation day. We arrived in the morning to a nice breakfast and then BMW Doug took the reigns. What a great person and an incredibly great experience! We were paired with one of our work associates and we went through five different courses through the morning events. I was paired with Lyra and we both took our turn driving. It was so, so, so much fun! So Lyra had her hair tied into a pony tail and through one of the twisty courses her pony tail flew around her head from the passenger seat and I thought things were coming loose inside the car. Lol. What a great team event giving us a some time to get to know each other a little better while encouraging each other to do their best. The BMW Coaches don't ride with you they coach you from a radio. It was fantastic! And in the very end the BMW Coaches each got into a car loaded with team members and showed their skills. Wow! These cars are Incredible! I had no idea! And finally, kudos to Tom Dillard for building such an incredible team and for sharing this fantastic opportunity with us!

Fantastic experience: I took the Motorcycle basic MSF CLASS and the instructors were very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Learn on brand new BMW 310's Worth the 17 hour drive from Maine to South Carolina. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I've been to well over 20 driving schools at the BMW Performance Center and it is an amazing amount of fun. The first time was in 2002 and Danica Patrick was a "guest instructor" before she got her Indy car ride. I was driving around the skid pad trying to drift, but the rear tires wouldn't lose grip. Danica was in the passenger seat talking to the regular instructors and I hear her say "Press what button?" Well, she pressed the DSC button and we instantly spun a couple 360s and wound up in the grass. On different occasions, I've taken my parents (in their 70s), our pastor (drove a purple M3 for years), two of my three kids, two nieces and some other close friends. It is always a BLAST!

Fantastic experience: WOW!!! Amazing. This was the most fun I’ve had in years. My wife and I went to the new owners class and had the time of our lives. I’ve been a BMW enthusiast for a while…. Fantastic experience: Picked up my brand new M3 here after custom ordering!!! The whole experience was amazing!!! The staff treated us with 5-star service, the experience on the track, and of course the build-up to seeing your car! Will definitely be doing it again!

Fantastic experience: We signed up for the BMW Driving Experience. We were greeted by an extremely friendly staff and treated as honored guests. We received an orientation and explanation of what to expect. First we drove brand new X5's through the terrain course; through deep water, over a hill which lifted rear tires competely off the ground & across a hill where it felt like you could reach out & touch the ground through the drivers window. Next, drove 4 versions of M cars and another X3 on track. Our instructor coached us individually in our cars to get the most our of each lap. Super fun! Last, we did a "hot lap" with our instructor driving. OMG! I thought I was doing well, but this professional showed us how capable these cars truly are. One of the best things I've ever done! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great experience @ the BMW Performance Center! Highly recommend! There are many options to choose from, but my husband and I both agree, no matter which experience you choose, you will not be disappointed! In fact, we are going to send our son for driving school and we are already looking for our next opportunity to return again. The merchandise shop is on point! We bought our grandson a little BMW ride on scooter, SO cute!

Negative experience: What a great start to the day. On the track, trying new driving experiences, riding a hot lap with their drivers, super nice people, fun tour of the plant. So why a “1” - the actual delivery of the car. Seriously, paint defects on delivery. One of the highlights of the tour was the care taken during the paint process. But upon delivery, the paint had “clear” scratches and an inclusion in the paint. What options are available? Take as is, repaint the door at the dealer, or walk away. So, live with a defect, or sand and repaint the entire door while risking and paint quality, or walk away and rent a car until we could order/buy a new one. (They did extend my maintenance plan, at least a bit as well. I guess that’s something.) I’d recommend you attend the driving experience. But pick up your car at your dealer. It makes it much easier to reject a defective delivery.

Fantastic experience: Good Experience.

Fantastic experience: I drove down from Kentucky to take the One Day Drivers School, and the experience met and exceeded all my expectations. They allowed each class member to test the cars and their own driving skills as far as they were willing, and I myself pushed both as far as I could, which made this an absolute fantastic and adrenaline rushing experience for the entire day. The instructors were great, and all have great racing credentials to back everything they teach you. They give just enough direction without wasting time, then let you go through each exercise as fast as you are willing to push the car and yourself. Each step of the all day course was very exciting, and I would get out of the car each time, heart pounding and looking forward to what they had in store next. I won’t go over each exercise, but I will say you will have the chance to take their cars around corners as fast as they were designed to, get the cars sideways on a 300 foot diameter drift pad (this was absolutely exhilarating), stop on a dime from highway speeds, and try and beat your own best times and performance (oh, and your class mates) in competitive competitions. And this is just the One Day Drivers School that I experienced. Lastly, the pricing is the best I have found after looking around for this type of event. I felt I got every dollar’s worth, and more, as I was leaving that day.

Fantastic experience: I took the One Day Offroad Motorcycle course. Highly recommended. Excellent course, improved my confident and ability on a heavy Adventure bike.

Fantastic experience: I came to the performance center for a new vehicle pick up. The experience was great. Derek was a great instructor, and Seth did an awesome job with the vehicle delivery presentation. I hope to be back soon for M school.
