Positive experience: I really like the school! Mr. Mullen is a pretty nice teacher who explains things fairly well. Though, on the other hand, I personally had a very hard time with the breakout rooms because i am really antisocial and working with others is hard for me. The class also didn't help with my anxiety with driving and getting into accidents. I understand as a future driver that there's always a risk when driving, but being told it every class isn't exactly helpful. All around though, this class was fun to be apart of. :)

Fantastic experience: It was good, very good instructors their very nice and explain great of what you should do during road tests and just driving on the road in general. 100% recommend this driving school they give all good information for you so you are great with driving.

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank Mullen's enough for making my driver's education courses fun and easy to understand. I go to the Standish location and the people there are incredibly caring, understanding, and will do everything to make you feel the most comfortable and to assure your understanding. I was recommended Mullen's from 2 of my friends and can't wait to recommend it to my friends and family when they are ready to get their permit.

Fantastic experience: This school is great! I had Miss Kairyn as an instructor both in person and over zoom, and she was patient and quick to answer questions. the class is interactive and fun. A very great school in all regards, but especially to learning Maine law and safety procedures. I will be recommending this school to others!

Fantastic experience: Information about laws were explained and relayed over very well, super informative and left me feeling very comfortable with an understanding of the road and how to navigate it safely. I liked that they also talked about issues that were specific to Maine and how to deal with those issues.

She cares about her students and allows everybody to answer questions from our readings. I enjoyed my Driver's Ed experience and it's thanks to Mrs. Kairyn at Standish's Mullens Driving School.

Positive experience: Solid Driving School. The instructor was very helpful in both person and on the zoom meets. Would make sure students were on the same track and would help people if they were having technical issues. One of my only gripes is that there should be a email posted to contact the instructor incase I would be running late to a zoom meet or anything else. But it has been a pretty good and straightforward class. I would definitely recommend this place to go to for your drivers ed classes.

Positive experience: The classroom session are good enough, but the teacher repeated herself constantly in ways that didn't add anything to, or reinforce the lesson. She also had a tendency to go of on long-ish unrelated tangents, but I learn what I needed to, so yeah, meh.

Fantastic experience: Kairyn is competent and great both during classroom and driving hours. As an anxious driver, it’s very reassuring to have an instructor who never yells or gets aggressive when mistakes are made.

Positive experience: Lots of useful knowledge for driving in day to day life. The only reason it isn't a five star is because of the classes themselves. They are each 3 hours long and not very interesting. Most of the time I couldn't be bothered to pay attention, but that's probably because of my AD/HD. Other than being boring, I recommend it.

Fantastic experience: We have had a great experience with Mullens. The classroom time is well used and the driving instruction is thorough. Kairyn was especially good during the driving sessions. She anticipated our students needs and gave her a very well rounded driving experience. She was understanding and encouraging while providing practice through varied conditions and situations. She was even available for private road test practice at the end of our 70 hrs parent drive time!

Fantastic experience: Karen has been an amazing instructor for our daughter. From the first lesson on my daughter came home relaxed, happy and calm. When my daughter made mistakes, Karen never made a big deal of it ,but calmly corrected her. Karen is the perfect fit if you need extra lessons and if any anxiety is involved. We have been so pleased and found the perfect fit. We are so thankful for the extra help she gave us. I highly recommend her! She's the best!

The amazing driving teacher, Miss Kairyn made everything so clear and easy for the students while also clearly teaching them about road safety. I also love how much time and effort she put into each class and how she hand made the slides to make it as easy to learn from and how she tries to connect with the students and asks questions of the day!

Fantastic experience: The student portal is very easy to use. The classes are easy to follow and aren’t as hard as I thought for a 3 hour zoom class. Karyn is very nice and makes sure to take zoom attendance very well.

I have had quite an easy time learning the rules of the road here. The teacher even put in extra and more relevant info if things changed since the handbook was made. Of course that is my specific experience, but I recommend the school regardless.

Positive experience: Mullen's in standish is quite a decent drivers school, although I haven't started driving, it has been quite the learning experience so far. I've heard about other schools in the area, and this one seems to be much better than the others. Kairyn, the teacher, is nice and accepting of all people, and has a nice attitude. Although I would have rather all the classes being in person, many were though zoom, which was not to my liking, otherwise this is a good class, would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Zoom classes for Drivers Ed here, my instructor Miss Kairyn, has been very nice and has answered all my questions in a timely fashion and respectfully. I have no complaints, I would recommend Mullen's for anybody who wants to take Drivers Ed.

Fantastic experience: I went to Standish zoom classes for my drivers education and found it is the most thorough drivers ed class I've heard from any of my friends, siblings and parents. There is a lot of interaction that we do every class, and it feels very much like a regular high school class with quizziz, google classroom, homework every class, and small group projects. I recommend this school if you're looking for an intense, interactive, and thorough curriculum. For the price compared to what I've heard from my peers is worth it since you're actually learning.
