Fantastic experience: Sal is very good instructor. I had great experience learning how to drive with him. I was allowed to practice parking on my own time on their property. I passed my road test successfully. Highly recommended for new drivers.

Negative experience: We have gone through speed limit twice. Both times we have had an issue. First time my daughter’s drives kept getting canceled. People in her class were done with their drives and she hadn’t even gotten one drive in yet. Gave Sal the benefit of the doubt. My son just took drivers training through him and I literally had to hunt down his certificate of completion. The kids were not given their certificate after their last drive like normal. So I had to contact him repeatedly to have the certificate emailed. Along with other parents because he was holding them. There’s plenty of other driving schools around. Please go someplace else.

Fantastic experience: Both of the instructors are very kind and considerate. Both of the instructors never got mad when accidents were made on the rode. They made the class a learning experience but also let us have fun. I totally recommend Speed Limit Driving school for drivers training.

From my initial contact to inquire about class options, to the completion of the class, the owner (Sal) provided great customer service, thorough and meaningful instruction, and professionalism.

I was very anxious about driving and had previous bad experiences with driving teachers screaming while I was driving and even refusing to answer questions. Sal was incredibly patient, explained everything very clearly, and I was able to grasp the basics of driving in no time-- I even passed my test on the first try. When you are with Sal, it feels like you are with a family member who really cares about you and wants to teach you. I will recommend this driving school to people in my personal life, and also recommend it to anyone looking at reviews and considering different options.

Fantastic experience: Sal is a fantastic instructor. Highly recommend for adults or anxious drivers. He remains patient, calm, and kind while pushing you to do your best and overcome any worries you have on the road. He is an intuitive instructor who really gets a sense for how a driver is feeling on the road. He'll be encouraging, but will tell you the truth about your progress and do his best to help you with any challenges you may have.

Fantastic experience: I have 3 boys and 1 girl. I knew my daughter would not be going where any of her brothers went for Driver's Ed. It took a bit of research but I finally found Speed Limit Driving School. They had great reviews, so I decided to call. From that 1st conversation with Mr Sal, I was put at ease and comfortable with sending my daughter here. It was a great decision! Mr Sal and Ms Karen are both very kind and patient - my daughter says the same. They really helped her work through some anxious feelings about driving and the written test. We will for sure be back for Segment 2 and I highly recommend Speed Limit Driving School!

Fantastic experience: I had been struggling to get my driver's license for almost 10 years, battling my fear and anxiety of driving. I tried different instructors in two different states, but they only added to my fear, and I couldn't get behind the wheel. Then, I took a few driving sessions with Mr. Sal. From the first moment, I felt calm. He started with non-crowded areas and the basics, gradually adding more as we progressed. During those sessions, my confidence built up, and I realized how important a good instructor could be. Mr. Sal is polite, understanding, helpful, and patient. He always motivated me without pushing me too far, allowing me to decide when I was ready for the next steps. I took the driving test and passed on the first try because I had practiced enough, especially the parking part of the test, with him. I definitely recommend Mr. Sal to anyone who wants to learn how to drive confidently.

From the initial call with Sal, to the last day of private driving lessons for my daughter, Sara, the experience was excellent! He was kind, patient, supportive and calm. Just what she needed! She went from zero experience, to driving on I-75, 696 and I-94 in just a few lessons! Far exceeding my expectations!!! Sara felt safe, confident and prepared. I can't thank Sal enough!

Negative experience: i’ve had a run accident with a person that got there drivers license from here. the young lady said this school allows people to pay to get the drivers license and put unfit drivers on the road this is unacceptable . For 180 dollars you allow someone to get on the road and not only put others life in jeopardy but theres to.

Fantastic experience: I was in the January driving class and I’m very happy with the course. In the classroom we learned everything from road laws to how the car actually works from Mrs. Karen. On the actual road we didn’t rush into anything and Mr. Sal makes sure you aren’t confused and gives clear instructions during the drives. I recommend this place to anyone learning to drive.

Fantastic experience: The teachers here are amazing, super sweet, I love mrs. barb she’s the best she’s one of the best teachers she helped me understand and learn everything I needed to know for the test and in general as well. I was so scared I wasn’t going to pass the segment 1 written test because I’m a visual learner and sometimes the questions are really tricky to imagine but she was always there to help me and prepare me for the test and I’m so happy it was her that was able to teach me. Even driving with mr. Sal is fun too, they’re so silly. I had the best understanding on things and I’m confident I’m gonna be a good driver because they are amazing teachers and I’m so beyond thankful for them for helping me learn everything I need to know.

Fantastic experience: I was a student during the 7-9 class and Ms. barb was an amazing teacher. She was very enthusiastic and happy to help whenever someone needed it. Most of my drives I was with Mr. Sal and he was very quick at adjusting and helping me know what I did wrong while driving. All of the teachers were very kind and helpful to me during my first class session.

Fantastic experience: Speed limit driving school is my favorite driving school. Mr. Sal and Mrs. Karen are are my favorite driving instructors. The classes are so much fun especially when we do Kahoots with Mrs. Karen!

Fantastic experience: Mrs. Karen and Mr. Sal are the best teachers and instructors out there. I went to the 8-10 AM classes and was shocked at how well my skills developed and how much fun it was to learn about safety precautions. I learned how to drive safely and smoothly. Mr. Sal taught me how to drive in the streets, highways, parking lots, and more. Mrs. Karen taught me all of the driving skills needed for the drivers test and for life. She knew tricks and techniques that helped me perfect my parallel parking. They are the best instructors and most fun teachers to learn from. I will be coming back soon for more lessons!

Positive experience: Mr. Sal was kind of passive aggressive on my second drive. I offered to pull into the high school parking lot for the next girl's first drive and he was a little too snippy with me. He also grabbed the wheel a lot more that other instructors. Overall the class was pretty good and fairly informative.

My daughter loved it there that we will take segment 2 there as well. Mr Sal taught them how to pump gas and even purchased a cold soft drink for them while driving. Very good teachers.

Fantastic experience: My son did his segment one with another driving school, which was a horrible experience for both of us. It was obvious that all they cared about was the money. I never went back to them for segment two. I came to Speed Limit Driving School looking for private driving lessons for my son, and I was not disappointed at all. Sal was very patient, knowledgeable, serious (but not intimidating), honest, and very pleasant at the same time. Once my son was done with his driving lessons, I felt more comfortable having my son driving without me being in the car with him. I definitely recommend Speed Limit Driving School to all parents. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience here. Everything was taught in an easy to understand way and every question I had was answered with enthusiasm. I felt very safe in the car knowing that if I made a mistake Sal would do his best to fix it quickly to ensure the safety of everyone both in and out of the car.

He doesn’t yell if you make a mistake he’ll tell you what you’re supposed to do to fix it. If your a parent or even a adult looking to get started, this is the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Mr. Chris and Mr. Sal are two great amazing driving instructors. With the little time I had with Mr chris he was super understanding and always try’s his best to make sure you understand everything that is happening. I loved coming to speed limit because these two amazing instructors are caring, funny and easy to talk to, therefore I wouldn’t have wanted to do drivers training with anyone else.

They are very funny and patient teachers and they will make sure to put a smile on your face, When it comes to driving they won’t rush you and they are very descriptive about each route. I highly recommend them to every teenager or parent! Love them.

Fantastic experience: As a student, I found the class overall very informative. We went over everything someone would need to know from a driving class: steering, turn signals, different weather conditions, multi-lane roundabouts, freeway driving, parallel parking, etc. Both teachers were good, although one was GREAT. At the end of each drive with the teacher, he'd give detailed feedback, both positive and negative. He also gave personal anecdotes to really drive home why we were learning this and how it would help us. Also, I crocheted a sign for the school that says "speed limit 700", and they hung it up on the wall. (Legend says it's still there to this day)
