Fantastic experience: The staff here are absolute amazing, they made sure I was safe and confident behind the wheel within only a few weeks. It only took 7 lessons to pass the road test with their help and experience and scheduling was incredibly fast compared to individually booking a road test. I highly recommend them for lessons or even to take the road test within about two weeks hassle free.
Fantastic experience: I will totally recommend Safety Auto School for a number of reasons and I'll highlight a few. -The professionalism they exhibited was impressionable. From my first call to make inquiries, I could sense they knew just what they were doing. (This is coming from someone who called quite a number of other schools) -I got a hang of parallel parking after just one session -For context, I passed the test on my second attempt. They were empathetic and took the time to walk me through my mistakes. An absolute 10/10!

Negative experience: Stay away from this Auto school. this school book for road test before 2 weeks, but I can't cancel appointment. if you cancel will be charge for 170$. RMV allowed in 24hrs free of charge. this is SCAM auto school stay away.
To clarify, all driving schools in Massachusetts are required to book road tests two weeks in advance, and cancellations must be made before the submission deadline. When we schedule a road test, it is submitted on behalf of all our students, not just one individual. Canceling a test after submission would mean canceling the appointments for every student scheduled that day, which would be unfair to them. Additionally, we take the safety and respect of our staff very seriously. Your behavior—using profanity and threatening physical harm toward a staff member—was entirely unacceptable. We do not tolerate such actions and are prepared to pursue legal measures if necessary to protect our team and uphold a safe environment for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Auto Safety is a good driving school very flexible with scheduling and always profesional. I would recommend taking classes with instructor Andy he is great very patient when he is showing you the steps to take for the road test. I like that he focus on what the student has the most trouble with and continues to work with them until they get it.

Fantastic experience: Upon searching for a great driving school, I came across Safety Auto School. It was the best decision I made. I had the best instructor Andy who taught me with skill.. His teaching method was great, the way he demonstrate the driving techniques help me to adapt well and efficiently, and to build up my confidence. He made me feel calm during the driving lessons. He also use positive reinforcement to encourage progress. He's a very good instructor, he's very experience, knowledgeable and have good communication skills. I passed the road test on my first try. Fantastic experience: Everyone is very nice and patient and we really make every effort to help you pass your test exam!!
Negative experience: Paid $170 for a road test and HAD TO WAIT FOR 2.5 HOURS on the parking lot to take it!!! Mind you, I arrived 15 min earlier and was fully prepared. Also They don’t let you know about important aspects of the test, like that you’ll have to parallel park with the cones not the actual car. And many other things. BEWARE, DON’T waste your money and time! You’ll be infinitely disappointed!!
Fantastic experience: just to put everything in a nutshell Tyson is by far the best driving school instructor. then this guy gave you driving pointers, He gave you all the tools. if you’re a quick learner, you’re passing your test the very next day cause that’s what happened to me, but I was already A previous driver from Africa but as far as technicality little things you need to know, safety auto school is the place!!! I passed my road test I’m a licensed driver now in 2024

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Safety Auto School Inc more highly! I paid them to be my sponsor for my road test. Andy gave me information that ended up being absolutely crucial to passing my road test. I would not have passed without him. He didn't have to either, because I did not pay him for a lesson. I did however take a driving lesson elsewhere before my road test, and the other driving school did not fully prepare me. I recommend not wasting your time with another school.

Fantastic experience: Two years ago, I attempted to get my drivers license by using a Driving School in Quincy. And I must say that was the most horrible experience I’ve ever had in regard to getting a license or driving. The instructor for my driving lessons was so bad. He showed up late he blasted music as I was driving. It just went on and on. The day I had to take my road test I didn’t know anything. He never told me what to expect on that day. He rushed me because he was late and it goes without saying I failed but as I was leaving, I noticed with the Safety Auto School how everyone seem to be really happy with them and how their road test went going so smoothly. So I made sure I wrote down the name of that Driving School because I said if I ever do this again, I will definitely call them and I did. It was such a wonderful experience with Safety Auto School. I learned so much. They were so nice and so professional. They made me feel so good and comfortable. I would recommend them to anybody. And this time with safety auto school I got my license. I went in this time, knowing so much more, thanks to them.
Fantastic experience: After only taking one class with Andy I was able to pass my test seamlessly. He cares a lot about your well being and will make sure you keep repeating your mistakes till perfection making it an easy pass on test day!
Fantastic experience: Really loved my experience with Safety Auto School. The instructors were a bit strict, but not mean at all. They really care about your safety and really learning the rules of the road. I recommend practicing a lot outside of the school, in order to build up confidence, since the lessons can feel a bit short at times. I also recommend enrolling in a few extra lessons, especially just before the road test. I passed on my first try!

Negative experience: Owner is a scammer. Takes advantage of non-English clients by charging them 50$+ for a half baked Google translated printed out online manual that doesn't even have all the information needed.
There seems to be a misunderstanding about the manuals. We never charge for them, and they are absolutely free upon request. We would never want our clients to pay for essential materials like manuals (which is free anyways provided by the RMV). After all, clear communication is crucial, and how else can we ensure we're providing the official information and supporting you effectively without a shared language like English in this country? Fantastic experience: These instructors put in so much time and effort into teaching you everything that you can possibly need to know about driving in order to prepare you for your road test. Fantastic experience: This school is excellent and highly professional. Instructor Ryan was always punctual and reliable. He remained calm during my driving sessions, providing constructive feedback and helping me improve from lesson to lesson. It was also enjoyable to hear about his extensive experience in driving, teaching, and living in the Boston Area. My first lesson was in December, but due to my college schedule I had to resume in January during winter break. I scheduled two 90-minute lessons and an additional 45-minute lesson, all in one week. I took my test on Saturday and passed on my first attempt! I can't thank Safty Auto School and Ryan enough; I achieved one of my 2024 goals in just one week, thanks to them. I plan to recommend this school to all my college friends and purchase one of their packages for my little sister's 18th birthday!

Fantastic experience: My son just passed the road test on his first try last week! I have an SUV so I wasn’t able to spend a lot of time to teach him driving, probably 10 hours. So I didn’t have confidence my son would pass the road test. But he was so happy he did! Fantastic experience: My experience with the Safety Auto School has been very good. Originally I was a bit nervous at first because I never drove before. But I got to work with Tyson around October and two other people. Ever since then I’ve gained a lot of knowledge driving but also learning tips and tricks on how to become a better driver. The classes helped me a lot. Even when I make an mistake, they show me how to fix it and I get better and better. And last Sunday I had my road test and thanks to the school and instructors I was able to pass on my first try. In my opinion, this school and the instructors are very good at what they do and would recommend others to look into their school. Their job is to help you pass your road test and also teach you how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Took the whole drivers class with them including observation! And I loved it every step of the way. They were all so nice and really got everything that was needed done. Tyson was a great instructor , funny & uplifting when driving with you, had nothing but the best experience with the whole thing together as one. Fantastic experience: They are amazing!!!!! Professional, and patient with all kinds of learners especially if you are a visual/ kinesthetic learner. So much knowledge is shared for those just getting to sit behind the wheel for the first time, they take the time to explain how to use all tools on the panel before the driving practice starts. I would recommend them a million times! I recommend having them as sponsors for the road test, they are organized and use the same car we practice with, and I appreciate the road test being on the weekend. Andy and Tysonn were the two amazing instructors I had, but the whole staff is great and very proactive with their work.

Fantastic experience: I took a class with Instructor Andy. He was funny and knowledgeable about what he tried to teach the students. He knows what's safe and not safe when we drive. After taking a few lessons with him, I passed right away. It was an amazing experience. The staff was also nice and helpful in terms of assisting me with the paperwork and scheduling.

Fantastic experience: I'm in my 20s and had near zero experience with driving so I was anxious about driving. Safety Auto School made sure I felt safe during these lessons. Tyson was my instructor and could sense when I felt nervous; he did a fantastic job assuring me that I was doing fine and patient when I didn't quite nail maneuvers like parallel parking or if I forgot to change the gear (that's why they have breaks on the passenger side!). I did the 9-lesson with Road Test package and passed first try this past weekend! There are some things I want to address for those interested in learning here: 1. The lessons at Safety Auto School are meant to help you pass the test, but at the end of the day many of the techniques taught are also guidelines. These lessons are tools that you have to personally hone further on your own time. Just doing your driving with the school is not enough practice, so make sure to ask friends or family to practice more with you! 2. Book some 1.5 hr sessions instead of the 45 minute ones, especially if you're in the afternoon. The 1.5 hr sessions will give you a better feel of the Safety Auto School Car, which you will be using on the road test. In addition, the longer sessions allow you to drive around the Quincy area and back whereas the 45 minute sessions you would be restricted to Dorchester (plus, if your lessons are during rush hour, most of that time will be stuck in traffic). 3. Once you have a good grasps of the basics, for the last lesson or two I personally recommend doing it with a different instructor. A different instructor could provide you with another perspective about driving that may click with you more - my 9th lesson with Justin definitely gave me additional insight to parallel parking! In addition, by working with another instructor prior to the road test you're training yourself to get used to having a completely new person sitting beside you who's giving you instructions. Fantastic experience: I took a class with a different school my first try and failed. I decided to go with Safety Auto after seeing the great reviews and when I say I’ve never been so appreciative for God redirecting me to them. Andy is such a great teacher! Fantastic experience: I found out about this school via a friend who got their license through this school. They got back to me soon after filling out their online form. I came to my instructor with a list of things I wanted to work on since my permit was going to expire in around a month. My driving anxiety finally went away and my instructor made sure to be gentle but corrected me when necessary. Although I am a late bloomer, I was finally able to get my license after 2 years. I will definitely make sure to recommend a friend/family member to this school in the future.

Fantastic experience: I passed my road test today on the first try! I took the nine classes package with the sponsor road test and additionally took two extra individual classes before my test day. I had such a good experience with this school. Before starting, I had barely any to no experience with driving and had no one that was willing to teach me. I took it upon myself to take driving classes with Safety Auto. My instructor was Andy, and he’s such a great guy and prepared me to pass my road test. He might seem intimidating at first, but he just wants the best for his students.

Negative experience: Inequality against Teen Boys and Girls students, in my experience I wasn't treated the same as my female friends. I had a horrible experience with my driver instructor. In particular, this one driver instructor rewards their Teen Girl students with drinks from Starbucks or Bubble Tea places, while we Teen Boys don't get anything. This is very unfair to the students and this seems very messed up!!

I noticed that we don't have your name in our database, which is the matter I want to address. While it is true that I occasionally reward my students with drinks, I believe there is nothing wrong with this practice. It serves as a means to motivate and acknowledge their progress over time. Your claim that I only rewarded your female friends seems unfounded and absurd. I adapt my teaching approach for different students, considering that everyone learns in unique ways. Some individuals may face difficulties due to past experiences such as accidents, anxiety, or driving-related issues. As instructors, our goal is to ensure everyone passes and becomes a safe driver. I often emphasize to my students that we not only teach driving but also act as their therapists, helping them overcome their fears. I genuinely strive to assist them to the best of my abilities. I still firmly believe that there is nothing wrong with providing encouragement and support to build their self-confidence. Furthermore, I would like to emphasize that my method of rewarding students is entirely at my discretion. I cannot be compelled to reward students solely based on their low performance, as it would be unjust.
Negative experience: They provide a lot of knowledge. But if you don't like being yelled at each time you make a mistake... this isn't the school for you. I also don't like how the instructor would say things like "If you do this you're going to crash", he would use a lot of negative reinforcement and that just didn't work on me. It made me feel more nervous and uncomfortable while learning to drive.

I would like to remind you that regardless of which driving school you attend, it is the responsibility of every driving instructor to point out any unsafe or unnecessary actions made by the student driver. Fantastic experience: I took the 9 lessons + 1 road test package and passed my road test first try! I had zero driving experience prior to my first lesson with Safety Auto School, but my instructor, Tyson, taught me everything I needed to know. I was super anxious about driving, but Tyson helped me stay relaxed and become a confident driver. He can be strict at times, but that's because he really wants you to be fully prepared for the road test. He goes over every little detail that the road test examiner will ask you, including features of the vehicle, hand signals, 3 point turns, parallel parking, and uphill/downhill parking. If anyone out there is anxious about driving like I was, I highly recommend Safety Auto School!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Andy and Safety Auto School, I passed the road test on my first attempt! Andy is really a well-experienced instructor as he knows how to boost the confidence of his student and not being too nervous on the road, which is helpful for students to get more focused and a safe driver. In just few sessions I've really learned a lot, especially important techniques and also tips to be a safer driver. He also explained my mistakes and how to correct them so that I could avoid those mistakes especially on the road test. So I'm lucky and really grateful that I found Andy and Safety Auto School! Fantastic experience: I just PASSED today!! my instructor is Andy and he is very patient, easy to understand lesson and the best instructor. I registered for 9 classes and 2 more classes ( just to make sure I’m more confident if I practice before the test day ) lasting 40-45’ before the road test. Fantastic experience: Passed my road test!! I had little to no experience driving. I cannot recommend this driving school enough. Everyone is really nice and helpful. From Timmy at the front desk booking my classes, to both great instructors Tysonn and Andy. Both Tysonn and Andy are amazing. Very patient, detailed oriented, attentive and helpful during lessons. They took their time in teaching me as a newbie. I wouldn't have passed my road test without them. Thank you, Safety Auto School!
