Fantastic experience: A very cooperative institute. Now, driving in Egypt is not really the most organized system at all. They really made sure I'm fully prepared and what to expect on the road test. Huge shout out to my instructor Fakhra. She is tremendously patient and really considerate and gives just the solid techniques and advice. I had the privilege to be paired with my amazing instructor Ola . Shes such an amazing teacher she was so patient with me the whole time and introduced me to new driving techniques I did not know of. She was very observant and would help me get over the hardships I went through while learning to drive. Driving can be tricky but with Oda I was able to do my best. She made me feel so comfortable to ask her about anything and helped me grow as a driver. I cannot thank her enough. I 1000% recommend going to Lana's driving school.

Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test on first try! The whole Lama team is amazing. I took classes with Sara K. She is an amazing teacher. The sessions are fun and you’ll know everything you need to do and you will feel confident. On my road test day, we had a final class to review everything. Then they drove me to the site and back. Fakhra is incredible. From her teaching, to how she helps you calm your nerves, to her wisdom, everything everything. Fantastic experience: Lama driving school is great. Very easy to communicate, very professional and fast customer service. I initially went to a different school in the neighborhood, and asked for refund after 6 weeks’ wait time for first class to be scheduled. I walked into Lama and right away I had my class scheduled for the next day. Lama is so reliable and I loved the reminder text messages sent to me. Everyone at the office was very nice and helpful at all times. My instructor Sara, was fantastic. Very professional, calm, reliable and patient. Her instructions were very concise and precise. She is very sweet, and as learning to drive is stressful, she knows how to motivate you and make you relaxed. I definitely recommend Lama driving school. This is the place to go if you are looking for great service.

Had a horrible experience with them em I had a bad instructor who didn’t teach me anything and was on her phone and played music!!! If you wanna FAIL go to them!! The worst DRIVING SCHOOL ever!!!! Negative experience: Worst driving school ever . They ask for 80 USD to book a road test drive while you can get free from the website. If you want to fail choose them.

Fantastic experience: I chose to take my driving lessons at Lama Driving School in Bay Ridge because of the location. Additionally, I learned how to drive because of a patient and kind woman called Noura. She understands that as a first time driver behind the wheel you're gonna feel overwhelmed and make a few mistakes and she's good and reassuring you that it's ok and to remain calm and move slowly. If you decide to chose this driving school I would recommend Noura.

Fantastic experience: Great school! Everybody was helpful, patient and polite. Special thanks to Sara! She was very patient with me in my first day and showed me all of important points. I got so much better for my next lessons and road test. I used one of school cars and person who took me to the road test gave me the last clues which helped me a lot and I passed my exam. 5 star school!

Fantastic experience: Llama driving school was great, After not being behind the wheel of a car in 15+ years, I quickly had to get my drivers license in order to keep my position at work. Llama driving school was organized and accommodated my scheduling needs with lessons, they even allowed me to take 2 back to back lessons the day before my roadtest which really helped. The instructors were very patient and friendly, they really made me feel confident in passing the roadtest (which I did on the first try!) The owners of the school are such sweet individuals along with the office receptionists that really are the backbone of the business with scheduling and organization. Go to this school, buy a package (they are very affordable compared to other driving schools) and stay focused, you will pass your roadtest on the first try! The areas in Brooklyn and Staten Island where you take your roadtest are perfect areas to do so.

Fantastic experience: Lama school was amazing. I started with them and only had two weeks of training. They kept on top of everything I needed and concentrated my training and the weak points I had instead just driving. They did such an amazing job with high professionalism that I was able to take my driving test and pass the first try within three weeks of signing up. Very highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Truly wonderful experience. I was finally able to pass my road test after failing twice with a different school. Instructor Noura is a joy to work with and so was Quta. Both are calm and relaxed and teach excellent techniques that are easy to remember. I'm grateful. You will likely be fully ready and comfortable after 4 lessons. I took 7 just to be sure since I had previously failed my road test, but between 4 and 6 lessons are likely enough. I saw some reviews saying do not go here unless you are Arabic, and this is nonsense. I am Hispanic and did not have any issues related to race & ethnicity. They have instructors that speak spanish, arabic, and english. So what if they are Arabic? All staff here were a pleasure to interact with. Thank you to everyone.

Positive experience: Do not use this driving school unless you are arabic or can speak arabic. They're very cliquey here. 2 stars for the two very nice instructors that drove with me.

Negative experience: This morning, March 22, I had a very bad experience with This Driving School, they told me I had my DMV appointment at 11 but I needed to be at the driving school at 8 am. They thought I was using their cars, when I told them weeks before that I was using my husbands car, any way they told me to be at Staten Islands Lama’s office at 8. When I got there this morning office was close and scheduled said they open at 9, I call Brooklyn office and they say oh you’re not using our car, your appointment is at 11 at the DMV. HOW WOULD I KNOW THIS IF YOU DONT TELL ME THE RIGHT INFORMATION? , any way they sent me the new address in Staten Island, I go there at this point it was 8:45 and she kept saying we will be there in 10 minutes. Guess what time they showed up? 10:30 am just in time right for my 11 appointment with DMV after me waiting my time and my husband since 8 am in the morning. This guy shows up with my document and said nothing to me, not even a We’re sorry. SO DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. They don’t care about others, but money.

Negative experience: My instructor Ibrahim was very friendly and gave me confidence while driving. The lessons were spaced properly and the instruction was good enough to pass the road test. However, the condition of the car I learned in was extremely subpar (especially the breaks). They give a newer model to drive during the road test which can throw people off, especially if you have been learning in a car with poor acceleration and breaking. On test day I was squished into a small sedan with 5 people and was not given the 20 minutes of practice I was told about before. I had trouble booking a test on my own as I had to call the office twice for them to stop automatically booking me for road tests. This school caters to Arabic speakers and if English isnt your first language maybe its worth a shot. Overall, the office is very chaotic and the condition of the cars is terrible, I would look elsewhere.

The team helped me build up my driving confidence. The staff also made sure that I was 100% percent ready to take the exam. The staff had to make sure what the issue was when I failed the road test and helped me overcome it.

Fantastic experience: The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. I did my 5 hour lesson with them and the instructor was competent and taught using logic and tons of visual aids (so you don't only know what to do but understand why). Let me also mention that he was multilingual! For the practical, the tutor really gave lots of practice and prepared me for my road test which I passed in 1 attempt. The prices are unbeatable (they so take zelle which was ideal for me) and the standard of service is impeccable. They have a package to fit everyone's pocket and needs. The offices are clean and so are the vehicles. Thank you to the entire staff for helping me on my quest to become a licensed driver.

Fantastic experience: My boyfriend recommended lama driving school, since he only had to do a few lessons and immediately got his driver's license... As somebody in their mid-thirties, I was insecure and nervous and quite frankly embarrassed about my driving skills as I have never tried to learn how to drive... Huda and Sara calmed my nerves and got me excited for every lesson. Thanks to them, I received my license on the first try. Thank you Sara for being patient with me and for showing me that I could conquer my fears. I highly recommend Lama as they are extremely professional, prompt and personable.

Negative experience: Disappointed and would not recommend. I took 2 classes, and the instructor was very distracted as she was using her phone constantly. I felt unsafe and disappointed because I was not being instructed properly and she was not paying attention. I am a beginner at driving and I didn’t notice the red light and continued driving. She didn’t notice and pressed the emergency brake at the middle of the intersection. Her name was Sarah K. She is not engaged in her job and she needs basic teaching instructions.

He helped me with good lessons for parking and made it easier for me. He took his time to correct my mistakes, repeated until I was perfect. Very respectful and responsible. Worth every dime I paid. Lama Driving School is an exceptional driving school that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to learn how to drive. Negative experience: If you ever plan on learning how to drive, I strongly advise against attending this particular driving school. In fact, taking lessons from them may make you a worse driver. They are complete liars and scammers who charge exorbitant amounts of money while being completely dishonest. They wasted my time and money, and I regret ever having gone there. The instructors are the worst, providing unclear instructions and seeming disinterested in teaching you how to drive. To top it all off, their 5-hour Zoom call lesson is nothing more than an Oprah Winfrey-style lecture about car accidents, which is a complete waste of your money. I urge you to stay away from this place. Moreover, after leaving this establishment and severing all ties, one of their employees has been attempting to contact me via text message. They claim that I am wrong and that I misunderstood their intentions. They even took one of my words out of context and used it as evidence against me, which is both unprofessional and immature. Furthermore, they intend to post the entire conversation on a public review forum, which is a violation of my privacy. This behavior only reinforces my negative opinion of this business and shows that they are unprofessional, immature, and not to be trusted. I strongly advise against doing business with them, as they are only interested in ripping off their customers.

Negative experience: I chose Lama Driving School because of the 4.5 reviews on google and when I spoke on the phone they claim they can book me immediately for a lesson. But I am disappointed. My first and second lessons, the instructor, she started looking down on her phone and even played a video which was very disturbing. I paid money in full but the service is not good. I tried to be patient and it was okay with another instructors but there was multiple occasions where I only got 30 minutes and 35 minutes lessons for a 45 lesson which is terrible. There are also some teachings they don't teach you which later I found out that it was valuable for the road test. I am usually a nice and patient individual but I feel that they took my money without giving me the service I have paid for. The day of the road test, the instructor did not care enough and only did 20 minutes lesson. Also on the day of the road test, they give you a car that's not what you used to and that car is pretty bad... mirror is hard to adjust and it feels like really old and when you put the gas, it drive really fast than the usual car. The steering wheel is off a bit which concerned me. The person who took us to the road test also make us stand outside for a long period of time on your road test and leave.... later I found out she went on a lunch and left us there which is absolutely unacceptable.... It is really disappointing....

Fantastic experience: I had a very good experience at this driving school. Sarah K was my Instructor and she was fantastic! I was so nervous starting my lessons because I had never driven before but Sarah made me very feel comfortable and was extremely informative during our lessons. She gave in the moment feedback so I knew exactly what I needed to correct so I’d be prepared for my road test. I thought I would have to practice for several months before being ready for my test and she got me prepared much faster than expected. Positive experience: Recently I was taking driving classes at Lama Driving School and passed my road test from first attempt. My instructor Sara was very patient and calm throughout the lessons. She explained everything in a details and was very professional. The price is reasonable. I would recommend always to double check your DMV appointments for a road test. I was told by the driving school that my road test was scheduled on Friday so I planned accordingly. After arriving at the DMV road test site the examiner said my road test was scheduled for a different day. It looked like a mistake in the scheduling. Also, on the day of the road test plan to have at least half a day off cause you will have to wait for other students to take their test as well. In general, I recommend this driving school.

I want say Sarah is the best instructor at the school but I’m sure they’re all fine. She is the best though. She went out of her way to make sure I got my license. I was nervous and about to cancel my second test after taking such a long hiatus from lessons until this year . But Sarah really encouraged me and even the Lama driving school employees who did not cancel it. And I took it and did so much better than expected. I’m so happy I passed. It’s like night and day, don’t blame the school when you don’t pass, because in the end, most people fail their first time. Just keep taking the test until you pass. Don’t get discouraged because then you’ll have to wait even longer! Anyway, Sarah ‘add sure my parking skill were perfect so that gave me the confidence to pass and I highflying recommend her at the lama driving school in Brooklyn.

Fantastic experience: One of the best driving school you will find in New York. My instructor Sara was so amazing, very friendly and patient. She breaks everything down into steps and even gives you tips for future use. A few family members have used Lama to obtain our driving license and our experience was great.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO HERE! Nightmare, they lied to me about not confirming my appointment when I had proof that I did. Lowkey one of the instructors told me that they were low on staff & that’s why they lied to me. To top is off the owner tried to charge me $20 dollars to reschedule. One of the young instructors was on her phone the entire time when she was supposed to be instructing me. She would grab the wheel and not tell what I did wrong. They wanted to charge me $60 dollars extra for a rushed appointment (NO SUCH THING). When I got my five hour class certificate they had put white out on it. So, I had to go back to the school to get a duplicate, only this one was for Staten Island location. Note, my classes were in Brooklyn. Now let’s get to the date of the road test. I scheduled my own road test . They texted me a date for my road test to confirm. I replied “No Thank You” On the day of my road test I come to find out from the instructor that they canceled my appointment and rescheduled me for somewhere in Staten Island. I had 5 cancellations and didn’t know about any. The only reason I was able to take my road test was because I had my email confirmation from the appointment I made. Save yourself the time , money and stress and avoid this school.

Fantastic experience: East communication with the staff, was able to get a fast date for my road test. The test went smoothly after taking my lessons with them. Great service recommend them to all my friends who want to learn driving.

The instructors are very nice and very good at explaining each step and they help out as much as they can and they make you feel very comfortable. I definitely suggest going to this driving school if you want to learn how to drive and to schedule the fastest road test appointment.

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving school, very affordable, they work really well with you to make you are prepared for the road test, even when you mess up they are very patient. I took 6 classes with Lama and passed my road test without prior driving experience. I highly recommend them if you’re looking to get your license.

Fantastic experience: I had zero experience when I came to Lama. In one month with just 8 driving lessons I passed my road test the first time. Thank you to all my instructors for their patience and professionalism, ladies at the front desk who promptly scheduled my road test and driving lessons, and Lama Driving School!

Fantastic experience: Amazing driving school! The whole team is great and they are very knowledgeable. The woman who works at the front desk is great and she gets to know you. It feels great. I bought the Premium package which included 5 lessons, the road test appointment, and the car for the road test(my brother went to a different driving school and paid more for less things) I had my lessons with Huda and Mohammad(hopefully I spelled their names correctly). They were great. I went for my test with Joe(I believe that was his name; he also did the 5 hour class too). He was very helpful and although I failed my first road test, I signed up for a new test date the following week. Abraham took my group this time and he was also amazing. I passed and was so happy. I will be signing up for a highway lesson with them soon. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am so happy I decided to take classes at Lama’s Driving School! For 7 classes I had few instructors, which is awesome, because all of them share different and useful tips. Even though I failed my first road test, Lama stepped out and convinced me to schedule another road test for the next day, she was sure I’ll pass it, and made me feel confident. She had right and I really passed it the next day. Thanks to Lama and all her instructors (especially Joseph with whom I took the most classes (forgive me if I spelled the name wrong)) with such a great energy now I have my license and I have no fear anymore! You would definitely not regret if you choose them!

Fantastic experience: Wow amazing driving school! I decided to come here after I failed my first test using Superstarz as the first driving school (Someone was yelling in my ear with a heavy accent and at the school I did not feel any connection). Lama and her instructors are awesome people, very helpful, super friendly, knowledgeable and polite. They gave me great lessons and even rescheduled my driving test at a better location, they also have a very good notification system to remind you about driving lessons which I found very convenient. After I passed the test Lama got me an appointment with the DMV the same week (doing it myself would have been 3 months waiting!) It seems like nothing is impossible for these guys. Negative experience: If there was a -10 star rating that is what Lama Driving School would receive. If you value your $$ DO NOT GO HERE. They scammed my family with false advertisements and invalid information that delayed legal driving experience; in simple do not believe anything that these people say. They were quick to take our money and changed their original story once the truth of their scam was uncovered. Along with that communication was extremely poor and they did not provide correct documents, making everything done with them a huge hassle. If you have any other driving school options I would very highly recommend you opt for that instead of Lama.

Fantastic experience: Lama is the only reason I have my license today. It's been years, but I'm still grateful for the classes I took there and haven't forgotten the lessons I learned. I've sent over my younger sister and my best friend, who've also had great experiences. My sister passed the road test on her first try! Any chance I get I recommend this driving school.

Fantastic experience: Look no further, Lama school is at your service. I came here with prior driving experience but the instructors really helped polish my technique for the road test (which I passed on the first try!) Everyone here is kind, professional, and eager to help you succeed behind the wheel. My main instructor was Joe. He was patient and knowledgeable. I found this helpful in stressful situations. The day of the roadtest, Lama and her other students, did everything they could to help me feel at ease, even after my nervous meltdowns. I was so stressed but with their support and encouragement I was able to push through. I took the 5 hour certification course here as well. The instructor was very nice and willing to answer any and all questions. My only complaint is that you cannot request the same instructor for all of your lessons. I find it easier to learn and perform when there's consistency. For some, that is not an issue. With that said, I recommend this school to anyone looking to pass their road test in NY. You're in great hands!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Lama Driving School because they really do their job! I had very bad experience with my previous school a few years ago and this time I wanted to find a good school. So, I’m very happy that I was Lama’s student. From the beginning they gave us very informative 5 hour class and then I took 9 lessons of practice . I had 3 different instructors. All of them were good, but I personally liked my 3rd instructor very much, so practiced with her all remaining lessons . For me it was very important to learn how to drive in stress free environment with a nice instructor. My instructor explained me why I should do certain things while driving and why I shouldn’t be nervous... Simple but very important tips that helped me pass the road test from the 1st try. Thank you so much .

Fantastic experience: This school is legit amazing !! But let me start off by saying I failed at my previous school “super starz auto” . This school lama driving school excelled. Where other driving schools didnt . They spoke clearly were very kind/patient and showed constant professionalism Along With a better environment than other schools . I am so happy to say that after switching schools I finally passed my driving test. This means the world to me . Shout out to all the instructors . Especially Abrahim for being supportive and positive On the day that I was taking the test. So many great people !! If I had to give one criticism it would be maybe put a rug in the middle of the store lol . (Silly I know ) also you guys may run into some small disorganization from the Desk clerk but dont worry they are always willing to work with you and fix things . this is a very small comparison to getting great instructors and great quality service.
