Fantastic experience: This is a great driving school that helped me pass my road test in Wayne NJ. My instructor was Josh, he helped me perfectly learn how to drive and gave me great tips while driving about awareness, stopping at appropriate times etc.. without him this would've been impossible to do. They answer all your question so do not hesitate to ask a question. 100% worth it

Negative experience: The man hit on our au pair aggressively. Offered to take her to Atlantic City, really piling it on throughout the lesson. He was a good 20 years her senior, and sorry bud, but no chance. She also didn't learn much, as evidenced by her driving after. I ended up giving her the lessons myself. I'd recommend to try another place, not sure where the positive reviews are coming from for this one. Edit: The school said we're confusing them with someone else. We aren't. For privacy I won't share our au pair's name but it's of course not my last name. This is a true story.

They worked around my schedule and were accommodating of any changes. With Maria and Universal Driving School LLC, I passed my road test on the first try!! Fantastic experience: My brother and I recently passed our road test with the help of this amazing driving school! I would highly recommend this school. It's a fantastic school. The vehicles are in good condition, it's not some old, broken piece of junk.The instructors are outstanding and very patient.They teach you with patience and commitment in order for you to pass your test the first time. All driving instructors Eddie, Maria, Joshua, and Leo were all so amazing! You are in good hands with them! Jenny the lady in the office is so helpful with all the paper work and so sweet! She keeps everything on track such as the appointments, which I really liked! I had came a couple days before my road test to drop something off and I had said hopefully we pass and that I was nervous, she was so nice to go over the little bits that were important that the DMV instructors would look for and what paper work I needed to have. Truly loved this driving school, DO NOT hesitate to book an appointment! Thank you guys once again, we appreciate it so much!!!

Fantastic experience: I’m a little late for the review but it’s okay. Exactly last week at this time right now. I passed my road in less than five minutes and that was absolutely incredible because I’m a super anxious person. But I just want to say Thank You to all 3 instructors that helped me on the days that I had practice and on the day of my test I want to say Thank You so much Maria, I really appreciate it so so so so much. Fantastic experience: I called a week before my road test because i needed an extra lesson to make me feel comfortable for the test and they were able to fit me in with such a short notice. The girl Jenny who answers the phone was very sweet and my instructor Leo was very nice and calm!!! I passed my road test thanks to them!!

Jenny (the receptionist) has been so sweet every time we spoke, and Leo has been the biggest help by far! His length of driving experience and confidence in you as a student was impeccable! I did have another driving instructor with them who was a bit discouraging, telling me that I wasn't going to pass with just 3 driving lessons. If you decide to go with this driving school (which you should), ask for Leo.

I choose Maria as an instructor based on the wonderful reviews here. Believe ALL of the great things you read and hear about her! During my first lesson, I was terrified behind the wheel. Maria was so understanding, patient and calm that I couldn't help but to relax and put myself in her capable hands. With more lessons, Maria expertly helped me to improve upon my weaknesses, thoroughly answered every question verbally and/or with her own handwritten diagrams and made me feel confident in my abilities. Not only is she a great instructor but she is a genuinely kind and empathetic woman. I cried tears when I was told I passed because (1) I was excited to reach this milestone but (2) I was sad that I won't see and chat with her again. Fantastic experience: I was extremely afraid of driving for ever and for that reason stalled in getting my permit until I turned 20. I had Leo for my first 2 hours and he made me love being on the road and made me feel confident and gave me very good pointers and reassured me. My last 2 hours were with Maria and she was talking to me casual and made me feel comfortable and took me on the highway and didn’t feel scared at all, she gave me really good tips and made me get better at turning and helped me a lot. My second 2 hours though the instructor made me feel really nervous and seemed like he didn’t wanna be there. I understand I made errors but he sounded condescending rather than reassuring. He didn’t even give me his name

Fantastic experience: I did 6 hours and my road test with Eddie from this driving school. It was a good experience and he was very patient with me. I loved the fact that if I did the mistake over and over again, he didn’t get mad. He just patiently explained what I did wrong, even if he had explained it a billion times already. If it wasn’t for him, I definitely wouldn’t have passed my road test. Would recommend, 10/10.
