Fantastic experience: I attended sunny for 5 days with 4 hours a day class and Dave was my instructor for class B CDL and he is soo amazing. On the 6th day I went and did my road test and passed. Fantastic experience: very good school, I enjoyed learning every single lesson and all staff is very professional, they treat you so nicely. in between i thought its difficult to pass the test but staff motivation kept me going and i passed my test successfully in first attempt. thanks to this amazing school

Negative experience: I got my driving licence from sunny truck driving school . I prefer new driver go to other school for their cdl . And make sure that school have certification . and also school give certificate that you spend 130 or 150 hours in school . What happened I'm my case . When I got my cdl after I try to find a Job westren express hired me. What they do they did 6 months contract with me because. I Don't spend 130 hours at truckdriving school . Every week I make almost 500 to 600 dollars I f want to leave westren express but I have to pay westren express 2500 dollars . If you are new cdl driver some companies pay your tuition fee. But in my case westren express refused to pay back my tuition fee because they told me you Don't have 130 hours of school training I recommend to all new driver go to different school who gives you 130 hours of certificate experience .

Fantastic experience: I joined sunny trucking school with knowledge of on how to drive a 26foot box truck. I went to get my class B. I took the week class my instructor was mike Wilson. He was able to find my weakness in a day we fixed it and I took my road test today and passed my first try. I highly recommended this school and definitely ask for mike Wilson. Fantastic experience: Great School. Passed in first attempt and got my CDL class A. Good environment loved my training.

Positive experience: Took the 12 lessons class (CDL A) and passed my road test on first try. (I had previous 26" truck experience) Note that their training facilities are outside New York. (Garden City) Most of the instructors are not fluent speaking english but they were (MOST) good instructors. I said "most" because some just be on their phone watching videos while they are supposed to supervise you.

Positive experience: I would like to thank Sunny Driving and their great instructors. I passed my CDL Class B with them on my first attempt. I took their 5 lesson plan. They were very good on giving tips and instructions on what you should and should not do when driving a truck. The reason I gave 4 stars is that you will not be assigned the same instructor so you may deal with a different instructor every lesson. They call to let you know of your scheduled class every week rather than giving a set appointment. So every week it would be a different day and time ( I took lessons on weekends only.) This is a very good school but these are some things to keep in mind when you sign up and are expecting to have a static schedule for your lesson.

Negative experience: They are ok, but not the best. They lack an orientation of sorts for some of us who need it. They don't really explain different options, or even what should be your expectations after you get your license , and there teachers are not the worst but some of them have significant accents that can make you struggle in terms of learning as well as communication with them. But overall they do know there basics and seem to care enough to help you get your license. But do your research thoroughly before you commit.

Fantastic experience: I live in the state of New Jersey and I decided to become a Tractor Trailer driver. The process been a total nightmare I have enrolled in two schools in New Jersey and both have been terrible. It kind of feels like a scheme, they take your money and they throw you in a pot of soup with instructors that are not knowledgeable and the trucks are garbage. You basically learn nothing. Sunny driving school had great reviews so I decided to drive there to take several hours of lessons. This school straight up gives you One-On One and the instructors are super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this school. I wished I lived in New York.

Negative experience: Do not go to this school. They have good instructors but that is it. The lady in the head office will not help and only want your money. If you need help with driving there reply is more money. Run from this school.

Fantastic experience: You'll learn different techniques from each instructor and determine the technique that best fits your understanding. Most of the instructors are patient and willing to help you. I personally struggled with the backing maneuvers but eventually got it down through lots of practice. Was able to get my class A manual road test passed the first time I took it. I highly recommend this school if you haven't driven a truck before.

Negative experience: In my experience, the people do not care about anything other than your money. They do not teach you and don't care about whether you pass or fail as long as they get you hard earned money. After failing once, I decided to to got to another driving school, and in addition to costing me less, it also delivered as I passed my test and they provided a much better service. In fact, I also know people who have been very dissatisfied and I would not reccomend.

Fantastic experience: I always wanted to get my class A but never got around to doing it. I heard about sunnytruck threw electrical union and friends. I did my own research and saw they had all very good reviews, so I decided to go there. The office staff were very helpful and explained everything to me including my scheduled appointments for driving class which were very convenient for me with work. The instructors were all very good, they spent alot of detail going over everything from pre trip inspections to in cab to driving. They all had something different and little helpful tips that I felt was very important. I had a very good experience with this school. I was nervous about roadtest and I passed on the first try. I would not have been able to to pass without everyone's help. I will be coming back to take some classes for manual in the future, everyone was great. The instructors are so knowledgeable and caring, they truly want you to succeed. They work around your schedule and they stay on top of you constantly so that they know where you need the most improvement. Now some may look at the pricing and go for the low level packages, if you do that i can promise you that you'll be wasting your time and money. It's your future that you're investing in and if you can, I advise you to get nothing lesser than the 15 class package. Fantastic experience: Passed TEST first try!!!!just got my official license in the mail. I never even been inside a CDL truck in my life and went for the hardest license possible which is the CDL A manual (aka gold card) I even didn't even know how to drive a manual car. I went through 15 classes and even purchased more for my own self just to want to practice. Great things in life are not easy or they wouldn't be great!!! The teachers are great and one on one with you who really push you and demonstrate how exactly to drive these enormous vehicles. All you have to do is show how much you want it and they will do step by step and drill it in your head on how to achieve passing the road test. All the teachers are there to really want u to pass that test. Julius is my favorite instructor. Personality really made me so comfortable and he pushes you cause he wants results for his own self. You can't ask for better than that. Your able to say what you want to practice during class which was seriously something I needed cause this is not an easy thing but if you listen you will get results. The main woman at the office works with you with your schedule cause I was employed while doing these classes and makes sure and reminds you of of what days and time befor classes every week. She is great and the main guy at the lesson sight is a really good guy and will go out his way for u even if he's not your instructor that day. I PASSED on my FIRST driving test. I couldn't even believe it myself but it was easier than the lessons. I gave this place 5 stars. I already got on 6 lists for a major trucking company and also lined up for a job in Teamsters union. This was one of the Hardest things I've ever done to achieve so fast. This is not easy but the tools and knowledge they give u will get you to pass !! Thank you everyone at this school. So many doors have opened for me having this license for a real career with lots of money benifits. Starting pay 85k at this one job I'm waiting for. I wasn't told to write anything. Fantastic experience: Great instructors, one on one training. There is a instructor name Luis, he is the best. His techniques were very helpful and remembering those techniques helped me pass the driving test in first place and now I have the CDL A license. Not saying that the other instructors aren’t good. Everyone has their own ways of teaching and learning. I would like to thanks to all the Sunny Truck Driving school Instructors for there support and patience throughout the training process.

Fantastic experience: This school was great for me. It was all one on one lessons from the first day to the last day. Every day I learned something new and trained until I got whatever I struggled with. All you have to do is listen to the instructors and they will steer you in the right direction. I’m grateful they took me in because I’ve been denied to so many school due to the current times and demand and these guys made it possible for me to obtain my class a license with no restrictions. I’ve never driven anything with air brakes in my life and now I feel confident behind the wheel. I was able to pass the road test on my first try. This is by far the hardest task I’ve ever put myself through but these guys made it happen and I thank them for everything and recommend anyone else to go through them only.

Teach you like your are a first or second grade I’m recognized this school if don’t want waste your time so enrolled asap. I’m never forget this school so kind so nice and loyal.

Negative experience: I signed up for sunny truck driving school in August of 2021. I wanted a bew way to support my family with a Class A tractor Trailer licence. They informed me that they could help but the class wouldnt take place till the end of November. When i arrived for my first class i had an awesome instructor who guided me through alm the parts of the engine and a started me with the order in which the test needed to be called out by me during the process. We didnt have time to start driving the truck so he said next time o needed to make sure they worked on maneuvers with me. The next week the instructor i had seemed as if he could barely speak English. He was not comunicative at all and when i didnt understand him he kept repeating himself the same way. As if i would eventually understand him. I didnt. I ended up moving the truck back and forth for 90 min while he instructed others on the lot and ate lunch, occasionally coming over to reiterate instructions i didnt understand. At the end of the lesson i thought next week mabe ill have a better instructor. I recieved the same instructor. It was a repeat of the frustrations i had the week before and at the end of my lesson i called the office and complained. The lady in the office seemed unsympathetic.I feel like i was duped into dropping 1500 dollars on class instruction i never recieved and tests i never took. Meanwhile my instructor enjoyed his lunch.

Fantastic experience: I went to this location for my commercial truck driver license road test after I got my permit. The office staff gave me a very quick and fast service with the classes. They start their classes in the early morning which was needed since I work throughout the day. The instructors are the absolute best and make everything nice and simple for a new learner. There is not one thing that i didn’t like. Best service and best instructors. Thank you very much for the ease of gaining of my CDL A Class License. I will recommend everyone to this school.
