Fantastic experience: EVERYTHING IS GREAT HERE !!!! The instructors are great as well as everyone there. Learning how to drive here becomes super easy with all of the help and support you receive. I took many classes here and it was all I needed to learn how to drive. I would always reccommend Edwin as an instructor because he's really patient and just a great teacher in general. Also, mega thanks and love to Angela for being such a great person. I would reccommend going to the Burnside location. In general, a 10/10 experience !

The instructors are wonderful and very helpful and so as the lady’s in the office , they call to check in make sure you book For your classes and once you do pass , they congratulate you on your hard work ! Fantastic experience: I heard about Cross Way from a friend. The instructor I had was Luis Hurtado. He is an amazing instructor; he teaches very well, and he is super patient; he tells you what you do wrong and how to improve it. At the end of your last class, you can ask him if you need more classes, and he will be straightforward and tell you if you do or not. But being honest with yourself if you consider yourself ready or not is something that Anyela, the one at the front desk, told me... She is super nice too, and if you have any questions or doubts, she would tell you from her experience. My experience there was super comfortable. Also, I passed my road test exam thanks to their guidance and motivation.

The instructors and the secretary man the best people on earth. This driving school is the best i know. They talk to u , they encourage you bro if u thinking of learning how to drive this is the place . Fantastic experience: I just passed my road test. The first time (08/28/2024) I took it at Havermayer with examiner 535 and failed it because I was nervous and blanked out when it came to the right of way rules for unprotected left turns. Today (09/06/2024) I took it at Strang with examiner 973 and passed it. Both examiners were fine but examiner 973 was quite calm and was always paying attention which made me feel calm too. As for Cross Way, I couldn't be more thankful. My instructor was Yovanny and he's just a great instructor — patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and quite chill. The difference in confidence between my first and last lessons was quite staggering, and for that I have to thank Yovanny. Lastly I must thank Anyela, the receptionist, for being nice and always available to answer questions, as well as her quickness on scheduling appointments back to back. As for the office, it's always clean, cool, and there are nice seats.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish my experience with Cross Way Driving School- Burnside Ave location was top notch! I purchased the 5 lesson package online, then called the office. I did my full onboarding over the phone with Angela, who was very courteous, professional and kind throughout the entire process! I asked a bunch of questions (probably too many) but she answered each carefully and made sure I was comfortable with my package and next steps. I was also able to recieve pick up services for my lessons due to proximity which was an added bonus! Hurtado was my instructor and he was awesome. He was timely with pick up and always had a smile on his face. He made me feel comfortable during each lesson and encouraged me to be confident and secure in my driving. I honestly started out this process a novice at best, but in just 5 lessons, I went on to take my test and passed on the first try! Amazing experience from start to finish! Thank you, Cross Way!!!

Fantastic experience: This review is overdue as I took classes with Crossway about a year ago but I had a very positive experience and passed my driving test with them! I had really bad driving anxiety and stopped driving for almost 10 years after failing the first time. I pushed myself to try again and took a chance with Crossway. My instructor was Marlenny and she was really great and helped me build my confidence. I wasn't a perfect driver by the end of our sessions but I built a solid foundation that helped me pass. The one thing I appreciated with Crossway compared to the other school I went to where I had a terrible experience, was that they offered consistency and I was able to have the same instructor each time. I think switching it up sometimes isn't bad but at the other school I had a different instructor every single time which really confused me as they all had different styles. I appreciated having Marlenny as my sole instructor it helped me to follow along and practice skills better. Also as scary as it feels to drive on Burnside and the neighboring areas that also helped me build my confidence. Before I went to low traffic, overall easier driving spots and did not feel prepared for busier areas. If you can learn to drive in this part of the Bronx you really start to trust your overall skills better lol I definitely recommend to anyone trying to get their license this is a great school.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school, advanced my driving skills within 5 classes. A huge thank you to instructor Luis Hurtado, who rapidly developed a friendly, safe, comfortable environment for me. I was able to quickly learn to park after all his advises and recommendations, he was completely transparent about my flaws and trust me that’s exactly what I needed in order to strengthen my parking skills. I recommend booking some classes with instructor Hurtado.

Fantastic experience: I will definitely recommend Cross Way Driving School. When I initially called last month, the receptionist was helpful and knowledgeable about packages that were offered. I went in a few days later to pick a package. I had already had my 5-hr class from a previous driving school. The receptionist assured me that I can take my road test before my limited window (5 hr certification was expiring). She scheduled me with Juan! He was very good. He has a relaxed aura, and he gives great tips. And literally a month later, I pass my road test.

My instructor was Raoul and let me tell you the tips you’ll get from him are awesome, for every step: from pulling out, to the parallel parking and 3pt turn to name a few. Fantastic experience: Crossway was great. I passed my exam first try with around 10-12 lessons. Jose was my instructor and he was very friendly/helpful. If I didn’t do something very well, he would let me repeat it multiple times until I got the hang of it. He answered all my questions and was very patient with a first timer like me (I got the hang of it pretty quickly so that probably helped). The practice area is also very good. It’s not too busy, there’s a good amount of stop signs, some traffic lights, occasionally you’ll pass through a busy road which is good, and 1-2 hills to get a feel for braking/accelerating on inclines. On my last few lessons we did some practice tests and he let me know everything that I had to do better. I fixed it all up just in time for my last lesson. Overall I would recommend crossway. Very nice and helpful people.

Negative experience: I had several appointments cancelled on me with no calls letting me know prior. When I go to get a refund, the service lady tries to paint me as a liar not knowing I had her voice mail saved on my phone saying it was cancelled. She had said she “confused me with someone else”. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend at all The drivers themselves and the cars are nice, but the lady up front messed it all up.

Thanks to my teacher Josue for teaching me everything I had to know for driving, he was patient during the lessons. Positive experience: I can't rave enough about the the excellent and professional manner in which Yudelky gives her lessons. With her experience, patience and helpful tips she can help anyone become a licensed driver. She is phenomenal and I will recommend her to everyone I know. Maria, the receptionist, on the other hand should reconsider her career in customer service as she does not know how to properly do the job she is employed to do nor how to speak to people without being incredibly rude and condescending. Perhaps she is better suited in a line of work where she does not deal directly with the public, i'd suggest factory work.

Positive experience: Maria the secretary is amazing she is passionate at what she does she keeps you in mind call to remind u about a driving course can’t complain. I taken 6 courses or more and other instructors weren’t soo great, I took my road test March 15th 2021 & failed. Then April 20th 2021 had my road test and passed. I took 4 courses with YUDELKY She is amazing!! Can’t fail with her! Everyone else is mediocre, she is the only female instructor in the place and holds it down!.

Fantastic experience: The school is the best in every way they advertise. I had DMV issues that was corrected & they where very patient in the process because of it. If you want to learn correctly, effectively & efficiently then CrossWay is where you need to go. Much respect to my instructor Brandon. He is an excellent teacher. Also shout-out to the lady who took me to the road test. She gives you very good day of test advice. I say all of this because this school was my second time at gaining my license. Negative experience: The staff are rude, the lessons are rushed, they skip out on important details, always late, cram u into a car for the road test with 4 other people. And the scheduling staff on Burnside (the very heavy set woman especially) are just the worst extremely rude, trust me any place is better.

Fantastic experience: After attending two different driving schools and taking over 22 driving classes and failing. I found Cross Way Driving School and have to say if you want your license, good customer service and good instructors this is the right place. Cross Way Driving School is GREAT! They text you prior to your scheduled class and they text you the day before your road test. My classes were easily scheduled around my availability and they were super accommodating. The receptionist Alejandra, Nicole, and Judy were all sweethearts and simply amazing always willing to answer your questions and extremely professional. On the day of the road test Pamela, was extremely helpful on reviewing the things we should know, shout out to her for keeping us calm. A special shout out to my instructor Deivy Ferreras he is simply an amazing instructor, always on time to all of our scheduled classes, great teacher, great personality, and gave me some major pointers to pass my test. He was extremely patient with me and pushed me every time I wanted to give up. Deivy is AWESOME, if you want to pass I so recommend him. I found out about him through one of these reviews and I am glad he was my teacher. Thanks to him, I passed my test!

Positive experience: The experience was good, but not great. Pros: -My instructor was helpful and effective in teaching me all the necessary driving tips & safety guidelines to follow. He also wasn’t overbearing; he hardly ever pushed down on the brake or asked me to pull over. Only when there was a serious cause for a concern would he step in. -Scheduling appointments was simple. All it took was a phone call. However it could be more simplified and improved by having an online system. Cons -Although the instructor was helpful, he was often late for our morning lessons. In addition, the day of my exam I was told to be at the school at 8AM sharp and instructor didn’t show up until 8:45. It was ridiculous! -The receptionist was either often hard to get a hold of to confirm a lesson. I had to be on top of her to make sure everything was in place for lesson/exam. Overall, the experience wasn’t bad but the professionalism and system can definitely be improved.

Fantastic experience: My experience with Cross Way Driving School was excellent the workers where very polite with me and they also kept me up to date with phone call tell me at what time i was supposed to be there. The driving instructor help you improve the errors you committed.

Fantastic experience: This school treated me like family. The secretary, Alejandra, was so kind, always cheering me on and helping me figure things out. They have plenty of wonderful instructors who help you feel comfortable and relaxed, and always help you to learn. Ramon was the very best, and if it wasn't for him, I don't think I'd have my license. The escort to the test, Sabier, was also very helpful, giving lest minute tips and reminders to stay calm and that I got this. The Crossway team is exceptional at what they do and provide amazing service in every possible way.

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Crossway driving school I now have my driving license. I loved my lessons I received from my instructor Irsia Jimenez. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable and patient. She taught me everything needed to do well on my exam. The secretary Alejandra is amazing and sweet. Loved my experience here and recommend anyone to come here.

Fantastic experience: Best driving school ever. I only went for 5 hour class at and rented their car for my road test. on the day of my road test they took very good care of me and gave good advice. even helped me keep calm being that i was nervous. If i could give 20 stars i would!

I recommend them 100%, I passed on my first try. Also, the secretary was awesome as well! Fantastic experience: I requested a 3 lesson package from Cross way, and i had the pleasure to be instructed by “David”; I have to say that he showed me new tricks i ignored completely. Fantastic experience: My experience with Crossway Driving School was great. The instructor Deivy taught me everything from parking, being patient and not getting nervous in intersections. Staff provides good hospitality as well. I highly recommend it for anyone that wants to get their license they definitely provide a good service for your bucks.

Fantastic experience: For starters, I just want to say that this is an amazing driving school! I really couldn’t ask for a better experience. Deivy (my driving instructor) is absolutely the best! He is extremely patient and goes out of his way to ensure that you feel comfortable and that you’re confident in your skills. He is able to teach you in English or Spanish which is perfect for those students who have a language barrier. I am extremely grateful to have had an instructor like him. I was able to pass my test on my first try, thanks to him! I am also extremely thankful for Lucely, the receptionist. She creates a warm welcoming environment at Crossway. She makes sure that your classes fit your schedule and constantly reminds you when your classes are coming up. I couldn’t ask for a better driving school!

Fantastic experience: I am so excited. I almost choked on my heart during my 2nd road test. Thanks to Chris’s expert lessons, and Henry’s last minute tips I passed. I strongly recommend Crossway driving school for beginners. I made the mistake of taking lessons from a neighbor instead of the school at first.. but surely enough that mistake was corrected by Crossway. I look forward to perfecting my driving skills with Crossway driving school.

Positive experience: Overall I had a good experience I did past my road test on the first try. I had a lesson with Louis once and he gave me the necessary feedback that I needed in order to pass my test. Make sure whoever your instructor is is giving you feedback and not just letting you drive and on their phones.

Fantastic experience: Chris is the best driving instructor that you can have, especially if you are afraid of driving. He is really patient and he takes the time to explain everything in details.
