Fantastic experience: This driving school is best .. I was able to understand the road signs in practice not just theory.. practice in this school made it easy for me because the man was able to teach me in details.. now I have my driving license..

Positive experience: Liked the class, some of the material was very dated, but it made it soemwhat comical. There is fee for electronic delivery. I do like the fact that it is Texas based.

Fantastic experience: I have done defensive driving courses 2 other times besides this one and this is by far my favorite one. I have done one in person at a comedy club and that was awful and I have done another one that was all video and I can’t stand the test at the end and you had to sit all the way through the 6 hours. This I could log in and out on my time frame. It kept me interested. I will be referring this one to others and if I ever do one again this will be the one that I do. Video clips made me laugh at times and then the real life crash scenes and test dummies made things super interesting.

Fantastic experience: Picked this online DD course to satisfy a speeding ticket. Very easy to complete. I liked the convenience of logging on/off to complete the course in my spare time. Suggestion: Take notes. Some of the quiz questions refer to crash/accident statistics in TX and the US. Overall, a good course. I'd pick this course again..

Fantastic experience: I really liked this course. The questions were easy to get through. The only complaint I had was the videos. A lot of the questions came from the videos and I could never get them to load and play. Other than that I had a great experience.

Fantastic experience: It is fast, easy just as the review indicated. even I do not need the certificate right away, it came by mail in two days after I finished the defensive safety course. That really surprises me because I also unload the certificate just the day before at relatively low cost.

Positive experience: Easy to follow. 3 of the videos said they were not supported so they wouldn't play . Questions on the quiz were on those videos so I had to guess the answer. Also, you are never told which answers you got wrong. So there's no way to know the correct answer.

Fantastic experience: This course was filled with good information. It took about 6 hrs to finish and reasonable priced. The sections were easy to follow and the quizzes were not too hard if you pay attention. If you have any questions they answer you very quickly and are very customer friendly. I would highly recommend.

Positive experience: Course was not too painful, and allowed me to take breaks and then pick up where I left off. Which was helpful since my son was going through chemo during this time. Only drawback is when it comes time to pay for course and delivery options at the end, it's pretty confusing and there are lots of 'add-ons' - some of which it would not allow me to choose or pay all together. Seems like just another way to make more money at the end. That was disappointing, since I felt like I had already paid for the ticket, (after not having one for more than 20 years), the right to take the course, the course, the driving record doc... all that for doing 40 in a 30 on a Sunday afternoon. :(

Fantastic experience: For the baby boomer generation this course is absolutely perfect. 50"s video clips and enough humor to make it fun. I would recommend to people of all ages as well. If you gotta take a course, this is a good one!!

Fantastic experience: After researching a few different defensive driving courses, I chose ApprovedCourse.com. The course material was easy to grasp and organized well. Beingthat my main transportation is a motorcycle, I would have liked for the course to touch on a few more subjects applicable to motorcyclists. However, this course is more for the average driver and many of the subjects apply for all motorists. I personally think that more drivers should take this course, and it is readily obvious that a majority of the driving population are not aware of how to drive safely or share the road.

Fantastic experience: The course took the full 6 hours and it took me two sessions to finish it because of other obligations. It was a good review of laws, new and old. The material was up to date...but, oy vey! get some new pictures inserted in there, guys! You don't have to put all new cars in it, but the 50s vehicles with the tail fins are too much. Put some of the newer smaller cars in the videos to make it more credible for those born way after the Tail Fin Generation. I appreciate the humor and the seriousness you wrote into the scripts. I would come here again if I should ever speed again. Not gonna do that, though! I swear, Officer!

Fantastic experience: This course was entertaining while being informative. I like that there are unit quizzes after each unit & that there were verification questions to make sure it was me taking the course. In addition, they used vintage videos which were fun to watch.

Fantastic experience: Good course. I wish there was an option to not have videos at all and just do all reading. They give you the option to read the transcript of the video but for a couple questions, it's hard to follow without having actually seen the video instead of just reading the transcript. Still, it was an easy and straight forward course - I had no problems with it at all.

Fantastic experience: I decided to take my Defensive Driving Course on line. They've made the course self pace and we learn to change out attitudes before getting in our vehicles,the crucial importance of everyone buckling up and driving defensively. It has made me realize and we all need to be reminded,how very important and precious life is. We're not required to take a final exam, however they do quiz us at the end of each lesson.

Fantastic experience: It is very easy and makes it great if you are a student or someone to work at your own past with the stop and save. To allow you to come back later and finish when you are free.

Fantastic experience: Excellent class. Some of videos were a bit old. Also would like to have seen something about watching out for bicyclists, who are some of the rudest, least considerate people on the road. Any way - good class. Take it!

Negative experience: Only gets 1 star because they do not have a "negative" option. This course uses ancient videos from the 1950s and 1960 (you know the ones narrated by a guy with a deep voice that sounds like the old twilight zone, with awful elevator music in the background). It makes it even more painful and impossible to stay awake through than normal defensive driving. Just don’t do it!

Fantastic experience: I did the course for insurance discount. It was easy to log in and work through in various sessions over several days. And pretty painless, just 6 hours or so to deal with for the class. I did learn some new info and refreshed my knowledge. I liked the vintage driving videos, and they still are good defensive driving info. The humor was appreciated as well!

Fantastic experience: The video tutorials are good. Quiz at the end of each tutorial helps in cracking the final unit quiz. I would certainly recommend for people who are willing to take the course on defensive driving.

Fantastic experience: None of us like getting a speeding ticket, but this course actually made the process more enjoyable. I appreciate all the hard work into making this course, it showed! The only thing is I wish the electronic certificate was free or didn't cost so much.

Fantastic experience: If you gotta take the course this is the one. I paid the extra to do the video and was not disappointed. The site was easy to maneuver without getting lost or frustrated for this 50+ lady. The video is well done, broken up into segments with an easy quiz at the end of each segment. There is enough humor and variation in types of videos to keep you going. I'd definitely recommend the site and the video upgrade...though I don't plan on having to take it again...

Positive experience: The course itself is fine. Where this breaks down is when you complete the course, they snail mail the completion certificate to you. They want an additional fee for them to send you an electronic copy. This is so 1990.

Negative experience: The course was quick and easy enough, but then at the end I need to pay $12 to print your certificate. I have no problem waiting for standard delivery, but the website is intentionally vague on how long that will be- probably an effort to encourage you to pay for the upgrade. This is f-big stupid. Fantastic experience: The course was easy to follow and easy to use. The summaries at the end of each section made it easy to pass the unit tests. The videos are quite old -- use old cars and old basic content but they are still effective. I would recommend this course for anyone needing to take a defensive driving course.

Fantastic experience: one of the most stress free experiences I've had. Very easy to understand and hard to loose focus. The videos were cheesy but understandable as well. They weren't those old pixilated videos and the whole program had humor added into it to make the experience slightly less boring.

The use of videos from multiple decades and videos that had some humor included in them made the experience almost enjoyable! Fantastic experience: I think this course should be required for everyone to renew a drivers license. It was very informative, it reminded me of the proper attitude and skills required to drive, and it was not tedious like I expected.

Fantastic experience: It wasn’t that painful really. It has a self aware sense of humor that Defensive Driving is inherently boring but a necessary evil which made the campy parts bearable. Over all low stress, easy, convenient if slightly boring. But it did make me laugh every now and then.

Fantastic experience: This course was easy. I selected the video course for $35 because I didn't want to read. The videos were actually pretty enjoyable and you take small unit quizzes in between units (typically 6 or 7 videos). There is no final exam! I complete in about 3 days because I did it when I had time but this is easily done in a day or 2 if given the time and attention. Not that I want to take this course again, but if I had to I would definitely do it again.

Fantastic experience: I like that I can pause, rewind and fast forward videos. I like to take notes and then watch video. Make sure you record all the statistics. Would have been great if all the statistics were part of the summary and not only some. I like videos because I pay attention better and I am more focused. I like taking unit exams after each unit instead of one big exam at the end.

Positive experience: This course was informative and somewhat entertaining as far as a traffic course can go. I was worried about not having a solid 6 hours to complete the course, but with this you can log on and off as you please, so I knocked it out over two days. There are a lot of "fluff" videos that are mainly there to fulfill the time requirement, so you can get by skipping a bunch of those and just letting your time run down. Overall its a good course to take when you are "forced" to.

Fantastic experience: The brothers, John Fabel and Kevin Fabel, are very helpful and they guide you through the whole process. They are true professionals in their field! Their online course comes in two forms, both being excellent, and caters to ones' needs. You can choose to either take half text and half video or whole video, depending on your preference. Taking their online course is an excellent way to reduce your car insurance premium as well as to satisfy disposing of a ticket requirement if needed. Thanks Guys!

Positive experience: While not the most fun lesson, this defensive driving course was mostly painless and simple and had some neat retro film footage for added interest. It gets the job done easily.

Fantastic experience: should you find yourself needing to do a defensive driving course to keep a ticket off your record this is the one to take. it is user friendly, while at the same time very much setup to teach many known safety driving measures but also includes a bunch that are not known by most, or wan't by me. i came away noticing that i was using the tips over the next couple days w/o even knowing it till my wife pointed out to me , "hey you are using your turn signals more often than before. Fantastic experience: I took this course to get out of a speeding ticket. It was easy and wasn't so boring that I wanted to fall asleep. It was actually very nice. I liked that they quizzed you after every Unit (8 total) rather than testing you at the end of the course. That made it easier to pass.

Positive experience: Out of all the choices when picking a class i picked this one. It had the highest rating and I felt if I was going to pay for something I wanted the challenge of getting the best education for my money. I really enjoyed the course and learned a lot. The one disadvantage that could be improved one is giving the student the opportunity to review wrong answers. I consider myself pretty smart and like to ace test and quizzes, I missed several questions and still do not know which they were nor the right answer. Other than that this was a five star class.
