Fantastic experience: WAOOOOOOW am super excited, I passed my road text at First try. Alex did a phenomenal job, I can’t thank him enough for helping me pass my road test on the first try! His patience, professionalism, and clear instructions made all the difference. Alex not only taught me how to drive safely and confidently but also made every lesson enjoyable. I had 6 lessons in total and Alex was incredibly thorough in covering all the details I needed to know, from parallel parking to understanding road rules. If you’re looking for a skilled and supportive driving instructor, I highly recommend Alex!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend the Dutchess School of Driving to anyone looking to acquire their commercial driver's license. From the very start, all of their staff was incredibly informative and attentive to my needs as a student. From Anna running the show in the office and handling the administrative work, to Carlos and Saul holding it down as the absolute best instructors a student could ask for, the entire process was made so easy for me. In one month flat, I went from never having operated a commercial vehicle to passing my road test on my first shot! These guys give you the tools to succeed! From the pre-trip inspections to driving maneuvers and road lessons, I could not have asked for anything better from a driving school. Fantastic experience: After two failed attempts, I finally nailed my road test, and it’s all thanks to Dutchess School of Driving. Shoutout to my instructor, Lester—he was patient, insightful, and had top-notch communication skills. He didn’t just teach me how to drive; he helped me unlearn my bad habits and master everything I needed to pass the test and drive safely afterward. Passing was a bittersweet moment—sweet because I finally made it, but bitter knowing I wouldn’t have Lester in the passenger seat guiding me anymore. Dutchess School, you’re the real MVP!

Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dutchess school of driving for helping me obtain my class A CDL. My instructor Saul was extremely knowledgeable, patient and an excellent teacher. He’s also a great guy who made the lessons stress free and enjoyable. If you listen to him, work hard and trust the process you will do fine. Negative experience: I took the defensive driving course at the school. Overall the course was very informative. However, upton completing the course we were told that we will receive the certificate within a week. It has been almost four weeks after completing the course and I've yet to receive my certificate. I called the school several times asking questions about the certificate and all I got was different answers everytime I called. I also called the main headquarters which they provided a contact number to and they also had the information incorrectly. It shows on their record I started the course but have not completed. It was outrageous when I was told that I have not completed the course when in fact, I completed the course in person at the school. I could not have taken and completed the course had I not paid. Now I left without any clarification as when do I get my certificate or will I ever get my certificate! With that being said, I doubt I'd recommend anyone to take the defensive driving course at their location for the simple fact they don't tell you the truth. Now, I have to look for another school to take the defensive driving course again after I have already paid and completed it!!

I was very fortunate enough to have Carlos as my instructor very detailed very Knowledgeable about all that goes into getting a cdl . I would highly recommend getting your CDL through these guys. They know what they’re talking about and they’re absolutely great!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had failed my first road test which caused me extremely bad anxiety with driving. I decided to take lessons with the driving school in order to feel confident in my driving again. My instructor was Carlos and he helped me feel confident in my driving as well as teaching me all the things I needed to know for my road test. He was extremely kind and encouraging, and because of his amazing lessons I passed my road test and got my license. I’m extremely grateful to have gotten such a kind soul for my instructor. I have really enjoyed the experience and becoming a better driver overall from where I started using the brake all the time when I didn’t need to to now where my braking has gotten so much better since I’ve driven with LB. Fantastic experience: What can I say. Dutchess School Of Driving has been a great experience. From the beginning where I met Anna. Very informative, easy to talk to and scheduled all my road trainings. Received phone calls at least a day in advance to remind me of my upcoming appointments and was guided the entire way. Carlos, my instructor, was awesome. I had very early trainings and he was always early which I appreciated. He was very informative and you could tell he knew what he was doing. I was very nervous and he made training for my CDL B school bus endeavor more enjoyable. He was always positive and let me make mistakes that I would learn from. If it was not for Carlos I would have not passed my road test on the first try. If you are looking for a great driving school and a CDL I cannot recommend Dutchess School of Driving enough. Fantastic experience: My experience with the Dutchess School of Driving Inc. started as I was seeking a career in driving tractor trailers. I called the office and got some advice on how to start. The office staff is exceptional. They guided me the correct way and made recommendations to me, which I followed. They are super friendly and always explained everything, and gave me time to make a decision without being forced into anything I didn't want. When I decided they booked my sessions for Class A CDL. I met my first instructor who was Saul. He was awesome. Made me feel very comfortable and explained everything very well. Then I had Carlos as my instructor. Carlos was equally awesome!! He took his time showing me everything I needed to know for my pre-trip inspections, and did it in a way where I was very confident and comfortable in what I was doing and saying. The office staff was very efficient in booing my road test and went there with Carlos and PASSED on my first try. I would like to THANK everyone at the driving school especially Saul and Carlos who made this possible for me, I could not have done it without them!!!! I HIGHLY recommend this school! Fantastic experience: Honestly, 5 stars is not enough, I wish I could give them 10! Let me first start with the fact that I have been using Dutchess School Of Driving since I was 16 when I first got my D-license. 11 years later, I would go to Dutchess School Of Driving again to get my B-license so I get my foot into the CDL world. They trained me so well, that I passed my B-license in my first try with zero points! Fast-forward another 9 years, I felt it was time to make the upgrade to an A-license. I knew there was only one school I would turn to, & that would be the Dutchess School Of Driving. A lot has changed now when getting a CDL, whether it was getting one’s first CDL, or upgrading an existing CDL like I did. Dutchess School Of Driving is always up to date with the times and guided me every step of the way through what I needed to make this upgrade happen. Learning to drive an 18-wheeler is hard at first, but their expert instructor Carlos knew what to do & helped guide me every step of the way. I cannot say enough how blessed I am to be able to know Carlos, and how lucky the Dutchess School Of Driving is to have him. Carlos’ amazing mentoring has helped me to pass my road test today; it was my first try too. Yes, that is the awesomeness of Dutchess School Of Driving, I always pass my road tests in my first try. Dutchess School Of Driving truly is second to none in my opinion, and today reminds me why my family & I have been going to the Dutchess School Of Driving for 20 years. As our next generation of family is getting ready to drive, you better believe that I will only be sending them to the Dutchess School Of Driving; Dutchess School Of Driving’s services & driving education, in my opinion, is the best money can buy.

But with Carlos's instructions and knowledge, I not only passed the inspection, I also passed the road test. Fantastic experience: The 5 hour course was nice and educational, not too difficult Instructor Giuliano did very well

Negative experience: I am a young man in the autism spectrum and my parent made sure to let the school know that I would need someone with experience with people with autism. I had 2 previous instructors that left the school and I was given a new instructor. The new instructor told my dad that he does not think I would ever improve and he do does not think I want to drive. My dad called Anna and asked for a new instructor because my instructor has no confidence in me passing a driving test. She told him that he is the only one available and all the other instructors are teaching cdl classes. My dad told her he does not think the current instructor is a good fit and she told him to find me a new school. I was told in high school that I would never graduate college and I did. So I refuse to be discriminated on because of my disabilities, all I want is an instructor with patience and understanding. Anna refused to give me a new instructor and told my dad that I am not improving and I need to go to a different driving school. My dad had tried to reach the owner of the business but he keeps getting the run around. All I want is an instructor that would have some patience and understanding and not be told that I would never get a drivers license.

Fantastic experience: The class was very educative. The instructor was sure explanatory enough to highlight main points to protect lives while behind the wheel. Driving when the weather is bad. Juliano was sure a good guy with the quiz prank.

Fantastic experience: My mom was taking the class and all along I was listening. Although mom’s been driving for over 50 years, she (and I both) learned something new. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, informative and mom gives him two thumbs up!!!

Fantastic experience: No complaints at all. I had multiple instructors and every one of them were very personable, incredible educators, and most importantly amazing confidence builders. Even the scheduling of my sessions were flexible and I received a phone call 2 days before every session. Not to mention there were sessions available 7 days a week. Passed the test first try!

Negative experience: As a handicap person trying to get in and out of my car this vehicle makes it very difficult. I was genuinely shocked that an instructor driving this car would park here, in a no parking area between two handicap spots. I can only assume they parked here just because it was raining. This happened on the evening of Jan. 24th. Before saying this was a student, it most definitely was not as the person driving this vehicle was alone. Students can not drive these cars alone. Please fix this situation. Respectfully, Concerned Disabled Vet

Fantastic experience: I appreciated how seriously and professionally this course was taught. I have heard from others that the 5HR courses they took at other places were ineffective but I didn’t find this one to fit that description. Thank you Giuliano for caring for our safety.

Fantastic experience: Carlos was the best! When I started my lessons I couldn't even drive stick shift and after only 25 hours he helped me learn stick, all of the trucks components and how to describe them, and the road rules I needed to pass my test; and I was able to pass on my first attempt. Definitely chose this school for your CDL Licence.

Fantastic experience: First off I can't thank enough Saul for all of his patience and true commitment on helping me achieve obtaining my Class A license! I do have to thank Carlos as well but then Saul took over my training and what a trainer he sure is, extremely smart and knows what to look for in a student, knows how to communicate and details everything out I mean everything! I have to say also i was a nervous wreck on the road test date but he made sure i was good to go, extremely positive individual, and again explained everything over and over again in detail on that day and sure enough I aced it on my first try. Talk about an early Christmas gift..12/21/23 Gracias Hermano! The staff itself were very helpful from the start, Anna which I first met helped me through the process of where to begin and what were my next steps for the process to continue. It took me probably like 2 months to obtain my CDL Class A although I already had a CDL Class B, so for other new students it might take a bit longer if starting from Class D or no license at all. Once again if anyone out there is considering on obtaining there drivers license for the first time or wants to upgrade to a CDL, I have to say with confidence that Dutchess School of Driving is the place you'll want to go! I truly encourage everyone to just do it. Thank You so much Saul and the entire staff at Dutchess School of Driving.. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year..

Fantastic experience: Took my Class A drivers license through Dutchess School of driving. Everything was a breeze as far as paperwork with my union and everything I didn’t have to do anything. The girls created me a schedule which was flexible for me, always called and confirmed my appointments as well. Carlos my trainer was awesome and easy going guy (funny) made the experience even better! There curriculum there will definitely have you pass any test and there trucks (tractor) were basically brand new!

Fantastic experience: I didn’t learn to drive when I was younger and then didn’t have a vehicle to practice on for quite some time. As the time went on, and I kept getting older, my fear and anxiety surrounding driving intensified and I just thought that driving was something I was never going to be able to do. Just to really hammer in the point: I’ve had to renew my permit three times because I kept putting it off. I’m 34 now and I really wanted to push through my fears and finally have the freedom to drive. Prior to the school, I was practicing fairly regularly and finally took the test and I failed. This crushed me but I decided I should take some lessons and keep trying. I’m so glad I did! I had Saul and Rudy and they are amazing teachers and just a blast to be around; I felt like I was driving with someone who wanted me to succeed and understood my fears and helped me push past them. I did the 10 hour package including the road test which I took last Friday and I passed the test. At nearly 35 I’m so happy to say I can finally drive myself around! The school as a whole is great, from the front desk staff to the instructors. I can’t recommend it enough. Thanks so much to Saul and Rudy, I’ll miss our appointments together but I’m so glad I don’t need to do them anymore! :)

Negative experience: So we all started off not knowing how to drive I didn't personally go to a driving school although I would hope if I was in the car with my instructor from duchess School of driving while it's dark out and raining the instructor would make sure before I was on route 9 my lights are on. I mean guys the car was all over the road didn't even have running lights on dark raining and there's both a person in the driver seat and a person in the passenger seat really guys come on I'm not even blaming the person that was learning I'm blaming duchess School of driving The second this person pulled away you should have said hey you didn't put your headlights on that's the first thing you do when it's raining and dark out come on guys

Fantastic experience: Just finished up with my CDL class B road test. I was beyond stressed out for this test but because of Carlos and how well he taught me it ended up being a walk in the park. Everyone from the front desk personnel to the driving instructors (specifically Dave and Carlos) were endlessly patient, incredibly informative and, above all, completely and totally supportive. In less than 2 lessons he helped me learn the pre trip and shifting like it was second nature, and I was able to pass my road test on the first try. What a great staff and Carlos was a great trainer!

Fantastic experience: I was a bit hesitant with doing the course because I’m a very anxious person, but I enjoyed it. The instructor, G was really nice and he was patient with everyone who had questions. I learned a lot and I am more confident in passing my road test.

Fantastic experience: If your going to pursue a CDL license whether it be class A or B go with carlos and scott they are the best I went with scott 2 years ago for my class B and came back for my class A to open up more opportunity with both carlos and scott by your side you only become better it was the best decision i made choosing dutchess school of driving for all CDL needs would highly recommend thanks for everything guys!!!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about Dutchess School of Driving. Before starting with Dutchess School of Driving, I was very apprehensive and timid behind the wheel. Chris and Saul taught me the skills necessary to not only pass my road test but to be a good driver in my daily life. Thank you so much Chris, Saul, Guiliano, Maria and everyone in the office who went out of their way to help my family and I over this past year. I passed my road test on the first try due to Chris and Saul's expert teaching. Please do yourself a favor and use Dutchess School of Driving if you or anyone you know needs to learn how to drive.
