Fantastic experience: I am truly grateful for Ride Chicago. When I was 16 years old I had dreams of participating at Ride Chicago’s motorcycle school and 15 years later my dream became reality. It was an honor to say I received a course completion certificate and all the jokes and stories placed a mark over my heart. I thought of all the key words and moments frequently as I took another class in Texas due to permanently moving. My graduating class was a small group and focused on interactive learning & cool dance moves. Love you all very much, cheers ♠️

Fantastic experience: All the instructors are very informative, encouraging, and very kind. They want to answer questions and teach proper skills. I am a very anxious person and they caught it and helped me through it with all the exercises. Jay has become the voice in my head that (jokingly) yells at me to encourage me, give me advice, and say Fast & the Furious lines. When you take the test at their site, they do warm ups and help everyone the best they can. Thank you, everyone!!

Fantastic experience: My experience with this school was quite satisfying. I had already ridden a motorcycle for 6 years in another country, and 10 years had passed without riding a motorcycle. I wasn’t sure if I would remember how to ride, and I didn’t have a motorcycle to take the test, so I decided to take this course. The course is quite comprehensive for those with no experience, and for those who had experience like me, it serves as a good refresher. As soon as I got on the bike, I remembered everything as if I had never stopped riding. The exercises we did were very good for U-turns and weaving through cones. They prepare you for the test because on the second day, you basically start doing the test you will be taking, but in practice. The instructors were very good and explained everything very well. I think it’s a good course. For those who already have experience, I recommend taking the personal course with an instructor, as you will remember everything very quickly. The instructors were very helpful and attentive if we had more questions. Thank you very much for the course.

Fantastic experience: The basic course is perfect for a beginner. They provide everything, and the amount of patience and enthusiasm from the instructors is both encouraging and welcoming. Never once did I feel judged, or a bother - incredible instructors; I’d recommend the course to anyone interested in learning how to ride a motorcycle. 10/10!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Ride Chicago. I am a beginner with no prior riding experience. Alden was able to get me on an earlier date for Basic Motorcycle skills course. Instructors were Kevin, Nataly, and Jay. They did a great job teaching the fundamentals and simulating the Illinois Motorcycle Riding Test. I have already signed up to take the Motorcycle Riding Exam with them (onsite). They have a wide selection of Honda Cruisers, which should make the exam more manageable. Will be taking future courses with them. Great job Ride Chicago!

Fantastic experience: I took an intro course with Natalie and Jay and they were great. They were patient with us and did their best to help us get comfortable with bikes. My only complaint would be that I wish the class was 3 days, not 2. Time goes quickly on the back of a bike. I have a feeling I’ll be back for more classes with these guys in the future

Positive experience: Very friendly, learned a lot. The only issue I have is the location. Was afraid I was going to ride into traffic those yellow strings don't really eliminate my fear of that happening. Other than that would recommend.

Fantastic experience: These instructors are cool. They are there to keep everyone safe and in line while being super funny and educational all in the same. and they just let you ride! New rider or not this class prepares you for the DMV skills test in the best way and also gets you a good off site testing opportunity (NO DMV HASSLE) once you complete the first class. Instructors here really work as a team while they utilize break times to setup the next course and get you right back on the bike, may seem like a long class when reading about it but the day flies by and you just want to keep riding. Not to mention they provide bikes and gear for you!! You’ll use the same bike in class that you use for the DMV test to get your license, super nice. LETS RIDE, CHICAGO!

Fantastic experience: Such a great course! As a short, female rider I was nervous and intimidated the bikes would be too big or heavy to handle but the Honda rebels & Nighthawks that they provide you with were such a good fit. Carl & J were very informative & enthusiastic. They gave great pointers & made me feel confident for the state exam! Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic way to get accustomed to bikes before purchasing your now. All you need is to know how to ride a regular bicycle before starting! At the end of two days, you are much more confident in your abilities to learn the proper bike bases

Fantastic experience: Possibly the best group on instructors in this business. Booked a 2 hour private lesson as was able to get down some of the basics to enter into the basic riders course. The coaching staff were very effective and extremely informative on everything you need to know for the state test and much much more.

Fantastic experience: Shout out to Jay and Paco for teaching my brother and I how to ride a motorcycle. They were super patience, very personable, and more than beyond helpful when I was making any small mistakes. Because of their own experience riding, they were able to share their own personal 'tips and tricks' and in all honesty that's what made the course that much easier and understandable. I've never driven a motorcycle in my life and that course taught me a whole bunch more than I could have even imagined I should know before hopping on a motorcycle. The knowledge that was passed down is well beyond worth the cost of the course, no joke. All in all, the course was a blast. Highly recommended. Oh yea, just a heads up. Double check the weather beforehand and make sure your classes aren't during the hottest days in years.

Fantastic experience: Pako and Kevin were the most patient and thorough instructors I've had. I had taken the free Basic Rider Course years ago through the state. This course felt more comprehensive by setting us up for real world scenarios. Doing the classes online freed up the time in class for ample riding time. Would highly recommend taking this course for a beginner or refresher.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with RIDE CHICAGO! Thanks to Katie and Carl and their friendly approach I started my riding journey the right way. Coming to that class I had no previous experience, basically clueless how to make turns and thigh curves. They made sure to warm us up during the day and gave us tons of little tips how to do everything the correct/ safe way. They got us ready not only for state test but also for real life safe riding. I'm beyond grateful!

Fantastic experience: We had 3 expert teachers - Kevin, Jay and Steve. The training was well organized, perfectly timed to give sufficient experience on each course, emphasized developing safe habits and didn’t feel like it was a drag or boring. Kevin made it a point to tell his favorite dad jokes to keep the group awake in case the summer heat was getting to us. Highy recommend!

Fantastic experience: Omg the best best best - I had anxiety the first day due to a teen driving accident I had years ago. Kevin was amazing to calm me down. Second day more anxiety! Afraid of U-turn and failing the exercice - really ? Yes and again Kevin was extraordinarily- giving me space and a break, and so encouraging - like Ian too ! Felt like home ! Amazing souls...thank you..could have not finished on a positive and high note without you !

Fantastic experience: Rachel is the best! I did 4 lessons with Rachel before taking my DMV road test and would highly recommend her! She's very patient and takes the time to understand your level of driving and explain everything as you progress. After 4 lessons with Rachel and having never driven in the U.S. before, I passed my DMV road test. I can't thank her enough and would highly recommend her for drivers of all levels.

Fantastic experience: Recommend taking their course(s) for all levels of riders. Haven't been on a bike in 12+ years. Forgot a lot, picked up random weird habits that I shouldn't have since I haven't been riding. The instructors are great. Will definitely at some point, once I get a bike and have some rides under my tyres, come back for an intermediate course. Courses like these really should be mandatory, sadly it's not but it does make getting your license "easier" as you get a significant amount of practice and valuable feedback to make corrections as well as tools to be added to your tool box which I am a huge proponent of as someone who dives and teaches. Plus something you learn here could save your life. There's no one tool for the job.

Fantastic experience: I had the most amazing learning experience with Ride Chicago today. I would like to thank Steve, Jay and Packo for teaching me sooo many new skills. With this being my first time riding a motorcycle, they made the transition so smooth for me. I was sooo scared and nervous but they helped me along the way and I was able to gain confidence. Fantastic experience: I finally decided to take action and get my class M, but without my own bike, experience, or motorcyclist friends, I knew I needed to get training. I decided to go with Ride Chicago's beginners class, and I'm so glad I did! The beginners course is instruction and hands-on repetition of the core actions needed to control your bike at low speed. Ian, Kevin, and Paco were great instructors- Never hesitating to give advice when needed, and their feedback was always constructive and encouraging. I feel far more confident in my abilities, and now I'm excited to get my own motorcycle and get out on the road!

Fantastic experience: Really fun class to do, it’s really relaxed. You learn a lot of skills and start on your way to being a safe rider. Takes a little bit to comfortable on the bike if you’ve never ridden before but feels really cool after that.

Fantastic experience: I took the Basic Riding Course with Steven, Jay, and Katie over the weekend. I had a little riding experience but after the two 5 hour sessions I feel much more comfortable and confident in my riding ability. The staff are all great, very supportive and helpful! Fantastic experience: My husband bought me lessons for Christmas to help me fulfill a long held dream to eventually get a motorcycle. These guys were fantastic! I learned so much and had an amazing time. I plan to follow up with testing through them and the intermediate class once I start riding!

Fantastic experience: Thank you for the class! As someone who has ridden scooters before (currently have my permit), I was delighted to learn something new from these folks. Safety is paramount and technique is center with this course. The instructors are friendly and patient. I was very impressed by this. Recommendations: bring food for the day, cold water, and sunscreen (if it's blazing like it was for me). Next step for me: the licensing portion.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best motorcycle courses available. Instructors provide meaningful and detailed critiques that improve your riding. Despite it being a twelve person course, they took their time with each student ensuring the students could pass the exam. They really have it all—even great dad jokes

Fantastic experience: Had a great time learning with Kevin and Paco. They are great instructors and teach you different techniques for maneuvering the bike especially at low speeds. The 2 days fly by so make sure to soak in as much as you can.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend instruction from Kevin and Paco. They were both enthusiastic and thorough with the riding lessons. They made that extra effort to remember each person's progress so they could give individualized instruction. I only wish that the courses were 8 hours instead of 5 so that we could get more time on the bikes.

Fantastic experience: This is the second place I’ve taken a beginners course. I absolutely suggest this class. The teachers are top notch, clear, and really helps you feel comfortable on the motorcycles. . Most all students have never risen a bike so it’s perfect for those who don’t know a clutch from a choke.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Ride Chicago. I got to work with Jay and Paco the first day. The second day I got to work with Kevin and Alden. I came in with no experience. Their instructions were easy to follow and by the end of day was I was confident in my ability to ride. I would recommend anyone to ride Chicago!
