Fantastic experience: My first lesson instructor was hong. He was patient knowledgeable nice and gave me good technique. At first I was a bit tight but I later realized it's not as bad as I anticipated. Hong inflicted confidence in me by allowing for me to relax and not panic on the road. Hong is highly recommended for an instructor if you're looking for one

Special mention for the amazing Bob Younger who was meticulous and astute in equipping my teenager with both fundamentals and specializations of a very critical life skill. Bob’s brother, Dan, is another fine professional who filled for Bob on one of the classes. I would highly recommend Bob, Dan, and this team for such an important investment from any parent for their teenagers.

Fantastic experience: Hong is my first lesson instructor and taught me very good techniques that I used to struggle with that will assist me in my test such as parking, lane changing, steering wheel control and my first time on the freeway. Fantastic experience: My last instructor was Hong, I was on my last session, he helped me out with any last minute questions I had. He’s sweet and talkative, and makes sure both you and him are comfortable during your session. Definitely makes a point to connect. Teaching style is very clear and respectful, he throughly goes through every step and makes sure you understand.

He is incredibly detail-oriented, patient, and truly goes above and beyond in every lesson. Not only does he explain concepts clearly and thoroughly, but he also takes the time to ensure parents are involved and updated. Instead of simply texting upon arrival, Mr. Tran always rings the bell to greet us in person, which we really appreciate. Fantastic experience: I learned how to merge and keep a steady pace while driving on the freeway, how to do traffic checks whenever we come up at a intersection, what SMOG’s are and how to do them, how to signal and change lanes, how to make a 3 point turn and a u turn, and how to turn in to a parking spot. Erin was such an amazing instructor!

Fantastic experience: Erin, today’s lesson was informative I learned the SMOG method and learned how to be more fluent with my turns and unprotected turns & U-turns as well . Also the instructor was very thorough with test knowledge helping me feel more prepared. Over all I was very grateful and feel like I am prepared and ready for my test!

Fantastic experience: Second lesson instructor is Hong Tran. Very great hands on teacher. He demonstrates how to park and instructs well after his demonstration for accuracy. First time on free way was also good, his instructions and simple and easy to follow along.

Fantastic experience: I had Hong as my second instructor, I very much liked how he taught in a very hands on type of way. He first demonstrated then clarified which was nice. Additionally, when we took the freeway he put me in safe situations that presented me with challenges that taught me how to drive defensively around other drivers. Overall, I would highly recommend Hong as a driving instructor to prepare you not only for the dmv test but also regular day to day driving. Edit: I just had my last lesson again with Hong and he took me around San Clemente. Overall a very good and reassuring experience in anticipation of my driving test.
