Experiencia fantástica: My close friend recommended SOC driving school after having a very pleasant experience with them. After browsing a few reviews, I requested to have Ghada as my instructor, and I did not regret it! Ghada is very patient and easy to learn from, especially if you’re a new driver/have very little driving experience. I would 100% recommend going for the three 2 hour lessons. For those who would like to know a little bit about the general lesson layout, the first lesson has you familiarize yourself with the car, and has you work up to driving on the street and switching lanes. Depending on the area and circumstances, you may learn a bit more (I learned how to do a 3-point turn, how to park/reverse out of parking spot, and how to do a u-turn). The second lesson takes you through the Laguna Hills DMV test driving route, and your instructor will help you pinpoint what areas you need to improve in. The third lesson has you practice driving on the freeway and hones your overall skills. The instructor has a brake on their side of the car, and is able to maneuver the wheel if any issues arise, so don’t be worried if you are not confident in your driving skills. Once again, I cannot recommend this business and Ghada enough!

Experiencia fantástica: I had Ghada as my instructor and I cannot tell you how great she was! Her teaching was amazing and after her lessons I noticed a difference in how I was driving. She helped me become more aware and more comfortable on the road. I had a lesson with her before my drivers test and it was just what I needed to make sure I had everything down for my test. I ended up passing thanks to her excellent teaching and I recommend taking lessons with her as she knows what she’s doing.

Experiencia fantástica: My son had his first 4 hrs (2x2hrs) of driving lessons with Ghada, and she has been nothing short of wonderful. Learning to start driving can be stressful on teens and their parents. Ghada’s calm and friendly demeanor put all of us at ease. Our son had a great time and felt really comfortable driving following the lessons. Ghada has been very easy to contact, communicate with and set up lessons. She also has been reliable and on time. Overall we are very happy with SOC. The one piece of advice: the external online driver Ed is not particularly informative and will not adequately prepare your teen for the written test. Make sure to supplement by having your teen read the DMV driver manual and by doing online practice tests.

Experiencia fantástica: Had Ghada as my instructor and honestly she was the best! I had a different imstructor before from a different driving school and he didn’t tell me what I was doing wrong and barley paid any attention while i was driving. On the other hand Ghada told me exaclty what i need to practice and while i was driving she would point out the mistakes so next time I won’t do it again. She told me when I should take the test and I did that and I passed on my first try with her as my instructor. She is just awesome (:

Experiencia fantástica: I had a two hour training session and a behind the wheel dmv appointment with Khalid. It was an amazing experience and I passed the test :) He was friendly, knowledgeable and explained everything exceptionally well. He was patient and answered all my questions. He pointed out minor details that would have resulted in points getting docked and how to avoid them. I highly recommend these classes for anyone trying to get a driver's license

Experiencia negativa: If I could give zero stars I would. The driving school conned me and cancelled all of my driving test appointments WITHOUT MY CONSENT so that I had to take it through them! TERRIBLE MANIPULATIVE CHEATERS!

Experiencia fantástica: After 6 hours behind the wheel, my instructor told me to make an appointment for the driving test and guess what??? I passed my driving test today on the first try! My instructor from the SOC Driving School is so nice, fun and friendly. My instructor picked me up on time, took me to the DMV, plus, had all of the paperwork done prior to the test. All I needed to do was concentrate on the driving and follow exactly what I was taught by my SOC instructor. I would like to say thank you to Mr. Khalid, my instructor. He helped me a lot by showing me everything that I needed and should know about driving. I highly recommend SOC Driving School to everyone.

From booking the appointment, to the ease of scheduling the driving sessions, they were accommodating in every aspect. My daughter took her lessons with Adam, who is nothing short of an excellent instructor. She had very limited experience behind the wheel and was full of anxiety before her first lesson. Adam made every effort to make her feel comfortable, while instructing her with heaps of patience. He made me feel comfortable as a parent by providing me with updates after each lesson, as well as taking into consideration my own concerns with my daughter's practice driving. It's very clear that Adam takes pride in the service he provides, and that this company goes above and beyond for their customers. I recommend this school to anyone!

Experiencia fantástica: What sets SOC driving school apart from many other driving schools is that SOC isn't solely bent on trying to help their patrons pass their DMV driver's test; they also want them to be good drivers for life. As my instructor told me, "Any idiot can get their license." It depends on what you do after. So if you are at all interested in learning how to drive the right way (and you live in Orange County) it will behoove to call SOC up and give them a try. Plus, it never hurts to help out small businesses. Unlike other places, these folks are very professional, I can't stress this enough. My driver was Ken, one of the chillest Californians I've ever met. He was always prompt in picking me up from a designated location. always ready to call out my mistakes, miniscule or otherwise. He will tell you exactly what the test will look like and what the DMV instructors will look for. If you intend to take the exam at DMV or Dana Point, he will take you through the exam course as well. A side point, but nevertheless noteworthy: Ken has a great sense of humor. As long as you are not a schmuck, he may tell you one of his crazy stories. Learning how to drive is always easier when your instructor appreciates a good joke or two. If I had to learn how to drive again (and thank God I don't) I would come back to SOC Driving School. Yes, they are that good. No matter your age, you will be a confident driver by the time SOC is done with you.

Experiencia fantástica: I have to say this company deserves much more than just a simple "Excellent service!" review. To say it was excellent service doesn't even begin to do justice to the quality and care me and my gf experienced learning here. We both had very little driving experience coming from NYC where its easy to get by without a car/license but here in Cali its another story. I set out to get some lessons setup so we can get the ball rolling and looked up a couple places. One sounded shady, another one sounded alright but was expensive and I found SoC through google maps. When I called I got a very friendly greeting from the owner and once I told him of the situation trying to get lessons for me and my gf I was given an extremely fair price and accommodated our schedule. Once it came time for the lessons they were always on time and once we got in the car it was a mixture of professionalism for instructing and great humor/company. I got to soak in a good bit of California through our lessons and got tips on where to pick up great used cars among other things. In the end it was a truly fun and awesome experience you rarely get today. If you are looking for lessons, at any age, do yourself a favor and use SoC! I can't recommend it enough.

Experiencia fantástica: Great instructor and great behind the wheel education! I signed up for a 2 hour lesson the day before my behind the wheel. My instructor (who was the owner!) showed up on time and really made sure I knew what I was doing. Even though it meant doing the same thing over and over again. And, made sure I knew the test route well. By the time I was driving home, I was confident. The next day, he was on time again and we did a final run and headed to the DMV. I passed on my first try! He was such a great instructor, and I can't thank them enough for the great service! I'd recommend them anytime!
