I am new to motorcycles and this was the second class I took, my first being Ride Chicago. It was super helpful taking this class to furthermore understand how to safely operate a motorcycle. The state regulations differed in Texas, the online class, though extensive, is available to refer to & the motorcycle test being a part of day 2 was unexpected, yet appreciative. Experiencia fantástica: I did this course on 11/23-11/24, with coach Joe. Absolutely amazing experience. He was patient, took time to explain things for all the new riders, and really made the course fun. I was able to pass with a perfect score on the evaluation, thanks to him. It's just the beginning for my riding journey but I plan on take additional course with my gf to practice and learn more. Don't be afraid if you are a new rider, this course will be perfect for you. After the online portion, we spent two days becoming familiar with the motorcycle, increasing skills, confidence, and practice towards becoming proficient. Mark and Rodney did a fantastic job helping me gain confidence and to recognize what I was doing wrong despite my nerves getting the best of me with certain skills. Looking forward to purchasing a bike and practicing, then attending the next class to improve and develop more skills, utilizing my own bike. Highly recommend for any motorcyclist.

Previously, I had never rode a trike before and our trainer, Mark was very informative, empathetic to my lack of experience, and kept my classmates and I laughing the entire time. Vincent, an additional trainer shared his very helpful wisdom and insight with us, bettering the entire experience. Experiencia fantástica: My whole life, I’ve always been the passenger. With my parents as a toddler/teen and now with my husband. Going in I was so nervous. Lets be honest, I was just plain scared out of my mind! As I get older, I find my sense of adventure beginning to err more on the side of SAFE. This was definitely a stretch and def out of my comfort zone! Joe, my rider coach, was exactly in the right place at the right time. Joe is very laid back, patient, kind, encouraging and very honest in his critiques. He presented the course well and clearly. He encouraged that the only bad question was the one NOT asked! We asked quite a few! We walked the course when needed. Although I felt pretty confident in the skills I learned, the word TEST did a number on my nerves. With Joe’s continued patience, I was able to get out of my head, focus and passed!! THANK YOU JOE! And thanks to the young men in the class with me! It was awesome watching these guys kick butt on the course! If you’re gonna ride motorcycles, def consider this group! They are a great group of folks! Thank you again Joe and Lone Star Bikers!

Experiencia fantástica: Let me start off by saying do not go to the Harley shop to take The BRC, lone star bikers is way worth the extra cost. The people here, whether they do or not at least pretend like they care about you and don’t penalize you over little and irrelevant things. I did a new instructor course but even then the instructors were extremely nice and made sure you understood what was happening. Extremely supportive people here I highly recommend.

Experiencia fantástica: I took the two day MSF course this past weekend. We were a batch of 8 and our trainer was Coach Randy. The entire course was well organized and Coach Randy made sure our Biker Skills were polished at the end of the course. I had prior motor bike experience, but after this course, my knowledge about the importance of proper training was re-enforced! A huge shout out to Coach Randy and the entire team of Lone Star Bikers, for making my experience very enriching and full filling! Go Line Star Bikers!!!

Experiencia fantástica: Went during the week so there were only two of us doing the training. Rodney was able to tailor our training perfectly . Had a bunch of fun and learned much more then I expected. Was able to get my endorsement on my license the very next day with information provided by Rodney. When I get the chance I will be back for advanced training. Would recommend Lone Star Bikers for your motercycle endorsement . Thanks Rodney.

Experiencia fantástica: This was my first time on a Can-am Ryker and the coach Mark made it feel like I’ve been riding for years.. that’s how comfortable he made this experience and the group feel! I had fun and at the same time I learned how to ride. What also made this experience fun was the group: Tobe, Kimberly, D’Anna, Dusty, Vickie, and Anastasia were all amazing! Experiencia fantástica: Okay what can I say…. First of all Jeremy was extremely kind fun attentive and honestly really really caring and respectful. He showed many tips and carried out many assignments with comfort and ease. I really enjoyed his classes. One thing that really stuck with me was turning and always keeping your head up. When you turn you wanna look where you wanna go, it makes it so much easier and more comfortable to make the turn. I also learnt never put your head down it’s one of the reasons crashes happen. There’s many skills that stuck with me, I can easily say I’ve developed from the first day to the second. I learnt many mistakes and came home to reflect. Make sure your comfortable on your seat, ride at your own pace, even though someone is better than you in the class doesn’t mean you have to cut shortcuts or mimic them. Trust me I learnt the hard way

Experiencia fantástica: I took the basic rider course with instructor Dave. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. This experience was extremely valuable, rewarding, educational and fun. Dave was an incredible teacher, he was able to explain objectives thoroughly and also help us understand how each skill and objective was related to real life riding. I learned things I didn’t know and if we had questions Dave was able to answer and instill confidence at the same time. He kept everyone safe and prepared. Dave has been riding for decades and he always had a story of his own on how it related to that particular objective. I went into the final assessment with full confidence and practice. The class worked together as a unit which also made it fun and less stressful. I would highly recommend this company for the basic rider course and instructor Dave. I’m so impressed with my experience I’m already planning on the next level course. Thank you Lone Star and extra huge thank you to Dave. Amazing experience I’ll never forget. Oh, and left with a few new friends to ride with in the future!

Experiencia fantástica: I purchased a new motorcycle and I needed a place to get my license. I reviewed multiple schools and chose lone star bickers in Lewisville. I reached out to the owner (Carrie) to ask questions regarding the license process. I got a very detailed response and help with choosing the best instructor and she put me with ( Rodney) at the Lewisville vista ridge school. Rodney was very patient and helpful explaining everything that we needed to pass the test. I’m so grateful that I had an amazing instructor who is very passionate about the success of his students. I highly recommend this school and if you’re looking for a great instructor choose Rodney you won’t regret that decision. Experiencia fantástica: I recently went for my BRC and met the wonderful instructor, Tom, who explained everything very well. He was patient and provided additional information for those who had questions to help them better understand how bikes work which in turn aided in their confidence, including myself. He has a keen eye and learning from him allows you to begin to see what you could've fixed before he even mentions anything. Everyone who was evaluated, passed! Which only means he taught us very well. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to obtain their motorcycle licensure!

Experiencia fantástica: I started this class with zero riding experience & left with the skills and confidence of someone much more seasoned. Get to class a bit early so you can find the right meeting place. Dress for the weather! Our class in Lewisville, Tx was in a mall parking lot. It was 90°+ both days in the blazing sun. You’re required to wear pants and long sleeves but aim for light colors and somewhat breathable materials. Bring comfortable gloves and boots. Helmets are provided but definitely recommend bringing your own, as well as a pair of glasses so you can keep your visor up for ventilation. Wear sunscreen especially on the back of your neck. One of my classmates brought a pop up canopy for shade, which was great for breaks! Bring water and snacks. LSB provided cold waters but bring snacks and extra electrolytes! Talk to your classmates! We started out as 8 strangers and left as friends who are now planning a ride together! Park closer to the riding area. I’d recommend Jeremy as an instructor to a level of rider. He was very knowledgeable about any and everything bike related. Ask him questions and he’ll do his best! Communicate what you need. If you need to go over an exercise one more time, ask him! He’s there to help. I’m 5’2” 130lbs and fit comfortably on the Honda grom provided. If you’re considering this class, JUST DO IT! Take the class. Buy the bike! You’ll love it!

Experiencia fantástica: I recently completed the motorcycle safety class at Lone Star Bikes with my wife, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. After trying the class at a Harley dealership in Denton, we realized that the bikes were too tall for my wife, so we left and contacted Lone Star Bikes. Carrie, the owner, was incredibly understanding and set my wife up with a Grom with a lower seat, which fit her perfectly. Our coach, Jeremy, was fantastic—patient, supportive, and skilled. We had a group of 8 riders, and while I think my wife and I were the least experienced, Jeremy made sure we were comfortable throughout. Unfortunately, on the second day, my wife had some trouble keeping up, but Jeremy went above and beyond by offering her a one-on-one session later in the week. I'll update the review once she completes that. One thing to note—Day 1 was brutally hot. Thankfully, they provided a cooler with cold bottled water, and one of the other students brought a pop-up canopy for shade, which was a life saver! As for me, I was able to make it through the exercises and passed the class. It was also nice getting to know the other riders in our group. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend Lone Star Bikes if you're looking for a supportive and personalized safety class!

Experiencia fantástica: Jeremy was a great instructor and it’s a great place to learn how to ride! Don’t wear black clothes in the summer and bring eyewear so you don’t have to keep your helmet visor down. It helps keep you much cooler.

Experiencia fantástica: Took this course in Fort Worth a week ago. The instructor was great, professional, and worked well with the class. It was a wonderful introduction back to riding after many years of off bikes. Reintroduction to basics on really easy to manage bikes. The instructor even patched up the clutch cable on a Honda monkey for me since that was the bike I really wanted to ride. I will come back for the advanced course.

He shared his personal riding experiences and gives to a reality check… Be a safe rider. Texas heat is hellish!! so wear something light that will absorb sweat and is full sleeve. Cooling cloth around your neck will help. Shoes!!! Please break into them if they are new ankle shoes.. ladies… avoid heeled boots. They get stuck on the gear.. Rest leave it to the coach and enjoy!!!!

Experiencia fantástica: I took the BRC course with coach Jeremy and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! He was able to politely and entertainingly explain things I wish I had known before, such as looking at your exit in a turn or using more of the rear brake.

Rodney was our coach for the weekend, and I thought he did a really great job touching on everything from the very basic fundamentals of riding all the way to some of the more technical stuff like cornering and making tight turns. I thought he was super understanding and did a great job of trying to explain the correct way of doing whatever it is someone may have gotten wrong without humiliating anyone. Overall, I thought he was a good pick for an instructor. Well done, and thanks for the lessons!

Experiencia fantástica: Two day event with Joe, couldn't be better. I am glad I choose LSB for my BRC. I'm 5ft even and just made it on the eliminator bike. Joe was very patient and super chill, it helped the jitters. I will recommend this place 100xs over. Worth the money.

Experiencia fantástica: Signed up for the basic rider course around 9PM, finished the online portion of the class around 3AM, showed up for the riding portion of the course at 8AM. It was great. I'd never ridden or even mounted a motorcycle before, and I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire time. My instructor was Jeremy and he was amazing! The owner, Carrie, also showed up both days to say hi and meet us, she is so cool I felt 100% confident in my skills after passing the exam, and I felt comfortable with reaching out to Carrie for help with picking a motorcycle afterwards as well. Jeremy did a small crash course with me over different things to look out for when shopping for a bike as well. I truly felt looked out for and like everything was done with my best interest in mind. I somehow managed to get my insurance lady to take a motorcycle course too, and she took it with Lone Star Bikers and loved her experience as well. ❤️

I rode a Honda Grom, I’m 6’3 so a little bit tall for it at some points, like when I was turning the handlebars but that’s the bike not the program! I learned a lot and highly recommend this for new riders looking to get their license, or people who need a refresher!

Experiencia fantástica: I was completely new to learning how to drive a motorcycle, and was very nervous, but my teacher Joe was awesome! He was super relaxed, patient, and fun to listen to. Everyone in my class passed and got their motorcycle endorsement, and I believe it’s all because Joe was such a good teacher. I would very much recommend Joe and this MSF course to every beginner.

It was a birthday gift from my son to become certified, and I finally took the class and passed successfully!! it was so much fun. I hated that it was only for two days. Rodney and Mark are the greatest trainers. They’re knowledgeable, and they both made the class fun. Very personable. I would completely recommend it for those who want to ride motorcycles, three wheel, bikes, etc.

Experiencia fantástica: I would recommend this course to anyone interested in learning how to ride a motorcycle. I have never ridden a motorcycle before taking this class, so I was a bit nervous going in with no experience. But our instructor Jeremy explained everything very well. Also he was very considerate with us who had little or no experience, by making sure we understood the instructions before moving on, and by repeating a demonstration if we had trouble grasping an exercise, and answering any questions we had. It was a fun learning experience, even King Kong could do it. I would highly recommend Lone Star Bikers!

Coach Jeremy was very knowledgeable, helpful and had a great attitude that made the experience informative and fun. The course overall was great, and I now feel like a much more confident rider - it teaches very valuable skills such as low and high speed manoeuvring, cornering, stopping, u-turns and basic motorcycle safety aspects. I highly recommend anyone considering taking a motorcycle safety course do so with Lone Star Bikers!

Experiencia fantástica: I had a really terrific experience with Lone Star Bikers. My class's student to teacher ratio was 7:1, which I think was ideal. My instructor was Joe. He explained each task, demonstrated it, and then allowed us to practice until we were proficient before moving to the next skill. I would highly recommend Lone Star Bikers and Coach Joe to anyone.

Experiencia fantástica: Jeremy and Rodney were my instructors, id tried the course through a Harley Davidson place they turned me away as soon as i walked through door, reason being i am 4'10 and their bikes(/instructors) were not beginner rider friendly so i signed up with Lonestar Bikers in Lewisville. The first time i went i had different instructors don't remember who but did not pass that one, i was sent home and learned my height and inexperience on a street bike are obstacles i would have to over come on my own so that week i bought my own mini moto to learn on took about 2months till i felt ready to try again. This time i went, i felt confident and ready. The test part was nerve racking but Jeremy actually reassured me of how good i have been doing through the course and that i should have no reason to doubt myself. I didn't forget about Rodney he is a hoot. Rodney even showed the class a riding demonstration on his personal bike and his bike is like a big-O bus but it helped to see such a big bike can be moved in that way and us riding theses mini moto's shouldn't being as hard. I did PASS yay! Thanks to Jeremy and Rodney and for believing in myself no matter how short or small i am.

I have no experience in riding motorcycles but Jeremy our instructor was very good at teaching us the basic, tips, tricks and safety but the most part is his very patient with everyone in the class. I really enjoyed the class and had so much fun. I’m glad I went here to do my MSF course. Shoutout to Jeremy for being my instructor Thank you so much for everything. It gave me more confidence in riding the bike after I finished the whole course!

He made sure we knew what we were doing and why we were doing it. Cannot recommend them enough! The owner (I forget her name) was also super helpful on the phone!

Experiencia fantástica: Just wrapped up the 2 day MSF Basic Rider Course. Had a fantastic experience. Jeremy, our instructor, was awesome!! He made the class enjoyable. Wasn't harsh, but kept us accountable. Would definitely recommend for people to take the course with Jeremy. **Also, when you finish the class you'll get a 20% Discount at the Cycle Gear shop nearby. So unless you specifically need something for the class, wait until after the class to buy it.
