Experiencia negativa: I’m reading all these negative reviews and I know they are warranted. The current ownership has been terrible. Please know that a new person is in the process of buying the school (and changing the name) and will run it the way it’s supposed to be run. Should be opening sometime in February

Experiencia negativa: I am not one to complain, especially on a public forum, but after the experience I’ve had with Midlothian Driving School, I feel I must warn our community. My child, Hayden, started classes on November 25, 2023, at the age of 15. Now, over a year later, and with his 17th birthday approaching, there’s still no resolution. Despite numerous attempts to contact the school, his driving lessons remain incomplete, and he should have had his license long before now. The lack of communication and failure to fulfill their promises has been incredibly frustrating. I specifically chose this school over cheaper online options because of the in-person driving lessons, but it’s clear they are taking on more students than they can handle. They never seem to have enough driving instructors to meet their commitments. If you’re considering this school, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere. If anyone else has had a similar experience, please feel free to share or reach out. Our community deserves better.

Experiencia negativa: I wouldn't recommend this place. It's impossible to schedule the driving portion once your child gets their permit. All the staff tells you something different and gives you the runaround. They take your money and make it impossible to finish the course. Plan on waiting MONTHS to complete the seven hours of drive time!!! They say they have a link to book the driving online but there is never a class available, no matter how many times you check. This place is extremely unprofessional and unorganized.

Experiencia negativa: We were told to use online to book drive times and there never are any open. I called to ask about it and Jessica was rude and condescending. She said “have you tried calling”? Yes, and that doesn’t work either. They book 3 weeks out and never have available slots.

Experiencia negativa: My teen took the class. Pretty straight forward as it should be. In terms of behind the wheel lessons. It’s TERRIBLE! There is little to no availability and you’ll get a notification an hour before a time to drive is available when there is a cancellation. There are no notifications of when new lessons are made available. They apparently add them in the mornings and you just have to check or call in time to get a lesson. It’s pretty ridiculous and unacceptable. Even then it seems there is never anything available and they like to give you the run around as to why. I highly recommend going elsewhere especially if you want someone else to do some behind the wheel driving instruction with your teen. Or apply to make yourself a parent instructor which is like a $20 fee online and some forms. AVOID THIS BUSINESS. If you have similar issues I suggest filing a complaint with the BBB and/or the FTC.

Experiencia negativa: Not willing to work with customers when issues arise. Called and left messages multiple times and got no response for days. Would suggest finding a different option for driving school if possible.

Experiencia negativa: ABSOLUTE SCAM do not go to this place for a driver's license. $400 asking price is pretty ballsy when you can pay $25 for online courses and get them done in a few hours. They've also tried to charge us an extra $200 for an extra copy of a certificate because of one absence, even though we were told originally the certificate is valid for 2 years. Do not spend your money here

Experiencia fantástica: Such incredibly friendly people who make the drivers license process as painless as possible. Highly recommend this business even if you just need to take the road portion of the process. 2 of my teens have been here.

Experiencia negativa: Took the 4 week straight classes for a 18+ year old and was given false information. This caused the time to get the permit and license WAY longer than it should be. Paperwork was not filed correctly nor was the employees able to help find proof of payment to take the classes (even when I gave them an idea of when classes started, when payment was turned in and proof of attendance) and was told “anyone can take the class and not pay” !? If that was true, I wouldn’t took the class and struggle to have my work schedule working around the class hours if I didn’t pay for the classes. Going to the DMV (6 months after classes were finished due to DMV only going by appointments only) and I was told I was missing paperwork and even told me that this could have been all avoided if I took the test and classes online, basically had more money spent for this class than online costs. This was not mentioned at the school directly. Test cars constantly failing and any time missed without a call or show would charge you. All this took a total of 9-10 months to fully complete all paperwork and get the license.

Experiencia negativa: Drive time is cancelled within 10 minutes or less of scheduled appointment with multiple excuses (problem with their vehicle, they lost the keys, etc) instead of them finding a new time to replace their cancellation - they put it on the customer to call them, follow up etc, minimal to no availability requires you to check website 3-4 times daily, process takes months for student to complete behind the wheel lessons. I would not recommend nor would I ever enroll a child in this school ever again.

Experiencia fantástica: I have sent both of my kids here. Natalie, is a great instructor. :-) office staff is very nice. I highly recommend this driving school and Caleb, the new instructor is very good to.

Experiencia fantástica: Drove from Dallas county to take lessons before also taking the DPS test. This school is great whether you are just starting out or want more progress to be confident enough to be licensed.

Experiencia negativa: After the new owner took charge the place went to trash. The lady in the front has no clue how to do her job and forgets to put you on the list even if she said she remembers you. The hours are trash. Save your money and go somewhere else!!

Experiencia negativa: I was treated rudely by the teenage girl and when I asked to speak to the owner, her reply was “I can’t give you his personal phone number (of which I never asked for.) I simply left my name and number and have yet to receive a reply. This was over a month ago. Before entering the establishment, he promptly answered my email. After that experience, I emailed again with no response to date. It appears a judgement was made without any form of professional communication being made towards me. Actions speak louder than words and these point in only one direction. I have since, taken my business elsewhere.

Experiencia fantástica: Very experienced driving school that makes the class fun. Plenty of slots available for the student drive time. Now offering the actual driving test versus having to go to the DMV. Shhh..that's a secret.

Experiencia positiva: Sent my daughter to this school. She had never driven before and did not want me to teach her. She did fine in classroom and even learned to drive. Only issue was that one teacher was not very nice and we did talk with the school about it and they took care of the issue. Am getting ready to send my son to the same class and get him driving. I know I do not have nerves of steel so the school will handle it for me and I have faith in them since they did such a good job with my daughter. Office staff was always friendly and helpful.

Experiencia fantástica: This was a great place to get my driving permit. I was able to pass my test with flying colors and get my 14 hours of driving. Overall 10/10 would recommend.
