I’m Nigel, the owner of Coastline Academy. iDrive’s sudden closure may have left you confused, frustrated, and not sure how to continue your driver education. We’re working closely with the TDLR to make things right for you, and we are covering the cost, to get you on the road quickly!

Coastline is the largest driving school in the US, serving students across 8 states, and we have been serving DFW since 2019. Our mission is to eradicate car crashes by teaching safe and confident drivers for life. We are committed to high-quality driver education and to serving the community in times of need and we just opened a location in Mansfield. We’re here to make it right.

We understand the urgency and importance of completing your driving education. Given the volume of students impacted and our desire to maintain our well-known, high standard of quality, we ask for your patience during this process.

Experiencia negativa: Took my payment and sent a text that they are closing. I immediately went to the office and it was cleared with number disconnected and website was not loading. Called around to find out two locations went out of business at the same time. There has not been proper notice or responses to refund students. This is a nightmare for us!!!

Experiencia positiva: Staff was very nice and good at doing what they did. Made it very difficult to book drive times or diving test.

Experiencia fantástica: IDrive Driving Academy is awesome. Easier than I expected for my teen. I definitely recommend IDrive Driving Academy to anyone who needs a driving school.

Experiencia fantástica: Do *NOT* listen to the reviews!!! This is an excellent driving school! My son had completed the classroom lessons, but was busy with football and couldn’t do the in car driving. When we finally had the free time, he was put in the hospital for a health condition. Office worked with us great! Helped us sign up for all 7 driver classes when we came and talked. Got a lot done in a short amount of time! Mrs.Brandy is excellent and so is the desk worker, Kaitlyn! 10/10 school, extremely accommodating, trusting, truthful, and definitely recommend to anyone in the area!

Experiencia fantástica: Our second daughter has completed the course with IDrive. Business is under New Ownership and they ensured that teens 16th birthday deadline was met. Hurray! BTW scheduling and availability has improved drastically. Sunni is excellent with texting available dates. The front desk staff has answered all questions promptly and assisted with scheduling. Definitely recommend this Driving Academy. Ten Stars**********!
