Harry’s Driving School was founded in the mid 1940’s, and is Derry’s oldest licensed commercial motor vehicle driving school. We are NEWLY located at 42 Bridge St. Suite 100A in Manchester NH 03101. Our program serves Derry, Londonderry, Hudson, Litchfield, Manchester, and more.

The school offers comprehensive courses to teens and adults. At Harry’s/ A & J Driving School LLC, students can expect smoke free late model cars, insurance discounts, air conditioning and dual controls, and more.

The business goal of Harry’s Driving School/ A & J Driving School LLC is to improve the quality of the drivers on the road by educating drivers of situations, rules, risks, regulations, and safety while operating a vehicle.

Our mission is to make the driving community aware of the risks involved in driving and to give the community the tools necessary to avoid the traffic situations, accidents, collisions, and more.

Experiencia fantástica: Harry’s is a great driving school and I genuinely feel like I learned useful driving skills, Alison did a great job keeping us on track and Chris and Jane were amazing instructors, they’re lovely people.

Experiencia fantástica: Excellent school. I ended up just barely securing a spot last minute. All the other driving schools were booked up for months in advance and I’m very grateful I came here instead. The owners are a family of great people with a lot of patience to offer courses for students and adults learning to drive, foreign speaking drivers etc. Alison (daughter of owner) is typically the main instructor of the classes and she does a wonderful, thorough job of explaining the risks and rules of the road, and practical driving knowledge. Not only from a straight textbook narrative, but really putting each instruction into real life situations for her students to understand better. Along with Alison, there are two other driving instructors. Harry’s does a great job of making sure everyone has a chance to rotate with different instructors and vehicle sizes. From my personal experience, I really enjoyed having all three instructors at different times during my learning. Jane (mother/co-owner) focuses on practical driving and taking routes that are designed to help you with real life tasks that you’ll typically have to do once you get your license (banks, gas stations, drive-thrus etc.). Alison and Chris really work on technicals like parking, maintaining lanes, speed control, highway driving etc. All the instructors are great and no matter who you have you’ll still feel prepared and fully equipped to go to the DMV after completing their course. Definitely would recommend to any family looking to send their child for an all-encompassing driving program!

Experiencia fantástica: Harry's Driving School prepped me well. I passed my license's written and driving tests on my first try. Alison and Chris did a great job with the driving lessons!
