Experiencia fantástica: I recently moved to the USA (San Diego) from a country where I did have a drivers license, but drove on the other side of the road. My license was not transferrable so I needed to do a behind the wheel test to get a US driver’s licence. I was little intimidated, so I decided to seek out some lessons from a driving instructor. I read these reviews of David here on google and he sounded great. And he WAS! David immediately put me at ease from the get-go, coached me on the road laws of the USA, ones that were specific to California, and gave some great tips and advice for defensive driving in an area where drivers are known for being a bit reckless. He helped prepare me for my test, and I felt confident going into it, and passed! I’d highly recommend David to any student driver or driver looking to build their confidence. 5 stars, I’d give 10 if I could!

Experiencia fantástica: Took three lesson with David Jacobson and felt very confident at the end of each of these lesson. He was a great instructor, very kind and took time to answer any and all questions I had.

Experiencia negativa: I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning incident involving one of your instructors. On October 28th, around 3:40 pm, I was driving south on West Valley Parkway, just south of Citricado Parkway, when your vehicle (with a male driver, beard, and glasses) aggressively blocked me from merging into the lane. As the lane was ending, the driver intentionally prevented me from merging into the single lane, forcing me into the adjacent bike lane to avoid a collision. This behavior was not only reckless (per CVC 23103) but also dangerous. Such conduct is particularly alarming coming from a driving instructor, as it sets a poor example for students. I understand your vehicles record continuously, so I encourage you to review the footage from that time. This could serve as a teaching opportunity for your students on what safe, courteous driving should look like.

Experiencia fantástica: Just had my behind-the-wheel test last September 2024 and I PASSED on my first try! Thanks to Cantor’s Driving School for providing me a fruitful experience and for equipping me with helpful driving tips and knowledge. All the staff were so accommodating, kind, and responsive every time I have an inquiry. I want also to personally thank and highly recommend my ever competent teacher Steve Verret for patiently teaching me (I was difficult to handle because it’s my first time driving haha) and selflessly sharing his techniques and knowledge about safe driving. I can say he is the best teacher as he will get you through all the basic and crucial areas of driving. Aside from that, he will also re-enact with you the actual process of how the actual behind-the-wheel test is being done at DMV which for me is very much helpful as it will give you an idea on what you should need to know, prepare, and answer when you are ready to get your license. He is the best teacher indeed. All in all, Cantor’s DS is the best choice if you want to learn how to drive and be a good driver, and I am proud to say that I am a product of Cantor’s Driving School who is now a responsible licensed driver.
