Fantastic experience: KDT provided an outstanding experience for my teenage driver. From the very beginning, we knew that learning from a skilled professional would be the best approach, especially given my daughters anxiety. KDT did not disappoint. Her instructor was exceptional; patient, knowledgeable, and truly invested in her success. He fostered a supportive learning environment, ensuring she felt comfortable behind the wheel while providing clear, effective instruction. My daughter expressed sincere appreciation that he told her from the start he would remain calm during lessons. He assured her that he would never yell or raise his voice while she was driving, but would be firm when necessary to ensure safety. This approach made all the difference in helping her gain confidence. I was particularly impressed by his ability to teach her parallel parking - something I still struggle with myself. His dedication extended beyond the lessons, showing genuine care for her progress. We chose to use his vehicle for the driving test, as she had practiced extensively in it and felt most at ease. Before the test, he conducted a thorough trial run to familiarize her with the process, reducing her anxiety. When she didn't pass on her first attempt, he took the time to discuss areas for improvement with the examiner. He then tailored the next lesson to address those points, ensuring the next time she would be fully prepared. A week later, she retook the test and passed. I highly recommend KDT to anyone seeking a skilled, patient, and results-driven driving instructor. While investing in lessons may seem like an extra expense, the peace of mind knowing my teenage driver is well-trained and safe on the road is truly invaluable. KDT delivers a fantastic driving program that builds skills, confidence, and success.

Fantastic experience: While I don't have kids of my own I got driver training school as a birthday present for nephew and neices. All of them gained so much confidence in their abilities through Dave and enjoyed him as an instructor. Other than a car lol this was the best 16th bday present for them!

Negative experience: Instructor offered little guidance towards passing the driving test & seemed hypercritical of female drivers. This instructor is so old & detached from his surroundings, constantly tapping the “instructor ” brake when it wasn’t justified, that he probably couldn’t pass the exam himself. Look elsewhere for driver training in the South Hills.

Fantastic experience: We could not have been happier. Your son was taught very welll and went into his driving test with great confidence. He passed the test on the first try. I would highly recommend them.

Negative experience: David didn’t drive with our Au pair but a few miles over the course of 90 minutes and mostly discussed driving which is not what we requested of him. We wanted actual practice driving around.

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience learning how to drive with David for the past half year ish. David is extremely punctual, professional, honest, and gives advice and constructive criticism where needed. Also, if he is going to late or has to reschedule, David is great about communicating that early. I've been driving on and off for years and this school gave me the confidence to get out on the road and take my license test. I would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn and looking to genuinely improve their driving skills.

Fantastic experience: We had a wonderful experience with Driver Dave and cannot recommend him enough. My son had several lessons with Dave and we also had Dave take him the day of his test. My son learned more confidence, safety, and proper driving techniques than my husband or I could have taught him. Dave is kind, patient, and calm which is exactly what my son needed. He knew when my son was ready for his test and he was able to pass on his first attempt! Thanks, Dave!!

Fantastic experience: I’d recommend this school to anyone willing to learn. David was kind and compassionate and encouraged me when I felt I couldn't make it. He is highly professional and punctual.

Negative experience: I have four kids that went through driving classes and this guy is the worst. He showed up 15 mins late. Only took my son around roads within Southpointe. Never left Southpointe. No highway training, little parallel parking, constantly yelled and little constructive advice. My son has been driving on a permit for 8 months. Has driven in 4 states, major highways all types of weather and this guy couldn't even manage to take him out of Canonsburg.
