From the very first lesson, Jennifer was patient, professional, and incredibly supportive. She explained everything clearly and made sure I understood not just how to drive, but why certain rules and techniques matter. Jennifer creates a calm and comfortable learning environment, which really helps build confidence behind the wheel. She gives clear instructions, stays attentive at all times, and corrects mistakes in a respectful and encouraging way. She also focuses a lot on safety, defensive driving, and real life situations, which made me feel well prepared for both the road test and everyday driving. What really stood out was how personalized the lessons felt. Jennifer adjusted each lesson to my skill level, pointed out my progress, and helped me improve areas I struggled with without ever making me feel stressed or rushed. Thanks to her guidance I passed my behind the wheel license test today on my first try and I feel much more confident, aware, and responsible as a driver. Negative experience: My husband and I took a 2 hour driving lesson (each). My experience wasn't pleasant. I am not sure what ticked off the instructor from the beginning but she seemed very impolite/frustrated with me. I have recently moved from India so the whole driving on the opposite side of the road makes me confused on the road & the speed at which people are supposed to drive here makes me very anxious. The rules are very different from my home country too and that's why I was prepared to take several sets of lessons from this school. The instructor said things like "Do you drive into the curb back in India, you don't right?" Instead of just telling I am too near the curb while turning (the car & curb heights are different here). She told me "Your driving is messed up", "This is too much work for me", etc. She got visibly angry when she found me looking in the left mirror for vehicles while turning left without understanding that's a common cautious reflex for a driver who is used to the driving on the opposite side of the roads. Back in India, my instructor had drilled the push pull steering in & told me that hand over hand is not good (for Indian roads) so it's tough for me to switch my steering style here especially when I am adjusting to the roads/speed/rules. She accused me of not listening to her and told me I can't do anything if I can't turn with the steering style she prefers and we spent more than half the session only doing turns. I don't mind that but she broke my confidence constantly in the car. When I missed a stop sign (only once) in nervousness she told me "I can't teach you the most basic rules, okay? You got to follow them", in a very harsh tone. She assumed I am frustrated & confronted/accused me of it when I was only very nervous and didn't speak a word because I was busy trying not to crash into something. She told me it doesn't look like I have ever driven before in spite of me telling her that I am used to different road conditions, sides & speeds Oh and she just had to vape & take a personal call in between our session & asked so rudely. When I said I will need more classes, she told me to practice before coming to her (she seemed so reluctant to teach). I have no clue what I did to deserve this kind of treatment from an instructor but she's flat out rude and unprofessional. Very different from all the reviews I saw online. Was it because of my inexperience on American roads or something else? I will never know. I do know to stay away from people who take money to help you but do the opposite to you and then act entitled/bullyish. Never going back to this school ever.
