Road Star Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: Expensive considering very difficult to schedule drives. 01/03/2024, no openings listed for the next 30 days and 02/2024 forward is TBA. I've heard there is an expiration date associated with these drives or some other issues, annoying with state law/mandates. As an accomplished CDL driver with more than 2 million miles of incident free operation in North America and in every driving condition, I've trained my student driver beyond 90% of US driver skills.
Hello Jerry, sorry you are having issues scheduling drives. I just resent getting started email that goes out upon registration with our drive scheduling guidelines. It will mention that drives are posted once a month on the second Friday for the next month's drives. Be sure to read for all the guidelines, as it's a huge help with scheduling. Also, if every any questions or issues please reach out to me at my business cell first, instead of posting a negative review before giving me a chance to help. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with Road Star. True, it was challenging to get drive times scheduled but after I contacted their office, the staff was more than helpful with getting drives scheduled. The online courses were informative, and my son learned at a good pace instead of a "crash course". No pun intended. Definitely recommend Road Star!

Negative experience: Don’t bother with this place. Been trying for months to get drive times and cannot. Intentionally got class work finished early to have extra time. Called and didn’t get anywhere just told to bad you have to be quicker signing up. Times go as soon as they are posted. I know I am not the only one with this frustration. Going to another school that doesn’t oversell their spots
Hello ncljm1, I am very sorry that you are having issues scheduling drives. We have a set day & time we post schedule, so everyone is aware of ahead of time and can arrangements for a parent or the student to log in to account. That way it is fair to everyone. However, as many parents will let you know if student is license eligible within a month or so reach out to me and I will add them to our priority list so we can help get them finished. Fantastic experience: What a great driving school. They are great at communicating with you and answering all questions. Neal Pace driving instructor went above and beyond for my twin daughters to make it a fun learning experience . We are thankful for this driving school
