Fantastic experience: Alan is an amazing instructor, especially if you’re nervous and need a calm environment to learn in. He is positive and encouraging, and offers great feedback after each lesson on areas where you need to improve. If you make a mistake he isn’t negative, he just reminds you what to do, and then you do it again and again until you’re comfortable. I’ve spent my whole life anxious about driving, and thanks to him I passed my behind-the-wheel test today! I can’t recommend him enough. Thank you, Alan.

Fantastic experience: Alan is an amazing instructor, and I can’t recommend him highly enough for anyone who needs to learn how to drive. He is probably the best instructor in the Bay Area, and he will get you confidently driving in no time! I did 9 lessons with Alan over a period of 1 month, and he took me from being not very confident (after trying out three lessons a different instructor) to passing my test and driving well on the freeway! This was done with zero practice in between lessons. Alan is extremely professional, is always on time, and delivers same day feedback. He also tailors his teaching style to the student’s learning style, and is keen on understanding his students’ thought process if mistakes are made, so they can be properly fixed. For every single weakness I had in my driving, Alan had a strategy to fix it - this included fixing my turning speed, correctly using my mirrors, lane positioning and keeping the wheel straight. He is adept at observing to see exactly what the student is doing wrong and coming up with a formula to correct it. Additionally, he is extremely professional. He was always punctual and polite, never raised his voice and never did anything that diminished my confidence in any way as a student who was initially struggling. I have always had some anxiety about driving, but I actually looked forward to my lessons because I started to enjoy driving as I could feel myself improving. On the day of the lesson, he made sure that I was confident and encouraged me not to feel anxious, and I was happy to pass on my first try. Scheduling is also easy on the website, and the response rate is fast. If you need to learn how to drive, you can’t go wrong with Alan at Perfect Score! Fantastic experience: 今天路考拿到駕照了！！！ 超級感謝我的教練Alan!!大推！！ 我的英文不太好，Alan 很有耐心重複跟我講解，解釋各種路標要注意的事。 我是因為要拿駕照才報名，Alan 除了不斷的跟我練習DMV考試項目，他也會教我在現實生活上需要知道開車技巧（例如，不一樣的停車方式，高速公路，公車道路之類的）和遇到不一樣的路況應該怎麼應變！ 非常幸運遇到好的教練！！

Fantastic experience: I started Perfect Score Driving School lessons after failing the road test. I did the 6 hour package. The lessons were very helpful for understanding the areas I had weaknesses. He has a strong knowledge of the CA Driver's Handbook, so whenever he gave feedback on my driving he was able to point to the exact lines of the handbook that were relevant. After my lessons he would send me written assessments of my driving from that day. I found his level of detail to be what I personally needed to finally pass the test.

Fantastic experience: Alan really prepared me for my test and emphasized how important it is to exaggerate checking your blind spots on the test. He also perfected my straight line backing that was crucial for the test as well. I just passed my test and it felt like a breeze thanks to Alan.

Negative experience: Alan is ok to a bad teacher when he was teaching during our lessons. Our first lesson, I didn’t know how to start/move/ turn the car, and he scoffed at me. Alan made me feel like I was in the wrong for doing everything horrible since It was my first time driving?? When I asked Alan questions, he alway give me a odd answer and proceeded to scoff at my driving lesson. To mention that during our 2 lessons, I didn’t know much about driving an car. So I didn’t understand why he would be petty or mad in silence, sometimes he passive aggressive yelled at me..? I didn’t understand an single thing during the two lessons, I didn’t learn as much nor. I was paying $500 ish for two 3 hour lessons from Alan, $500 is a lot to spend on 6 hour certification paper, and Alan wasn’t the best teacher to teach me driving. I believed that you could find someone better and the price slight by better for your time and 6 hour paper certificates since Alan would cut our lessons by 5-10 mins!

Fantastic experience: Alan is just so good. He's that kind of person when you sit besides him, you feel peaceful. He teaches driving so well. I believe even if he teaches physics he can also do well. He always smiles :) No matter you're a completely new driver/teen driver who needs an encouraging beginning or a experienced new immigrant driver who just needs to pass the DMV test, his classes will help you a lot and so you can get ready for both the DMV test and being a reliable driver. 1. I don't like some other instructors who always talk too much repetitively or give too much information without any emphasis. Alan is the opposite, when he teaches, he uses the original words on DMV handbook and then emphasizes the keywords with a straightforward explanation. 2. He sent a form through email after every class. It's an evaluation form of all the mistakes you made when you drive. So before the next class, you can pay more attention to those details so you get better and better. 3. Sometimes I get upset or mad when driving, but he always remains so patient with me. I really really appreciate that. I get anxious easily. I don't think I can learn so fast without his help. Thus I feel so lucky that I chose him to be my instructor.

Fantastic experience: I am an expat to US. Alan helped me to improve my driving skills in short time and trained me to obtain DMV license within a month. Great tutor and never yelled at student when they make mistakes. Train them to learn their mistakes.. Thanks Alan..

Fantastic experience: I searched around the whole South Bay. I bought a 6 hour package for my niece for an early birthday present. Alan Wong was cost effective and a good driving instructor as my niece was lacking confidence and afterwards showed great improvement in her driving abilities. Highly recommended because the lessons were spaced out to give new drivers time and also scheduling was easy with the driving school.
