Motion Picture Driving Clinic

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience. The instructors were knowledgeable, friendly and encouraging. We had a range of skills in our class and they managed each of our levels very well. I learned a lot and walked away with solid skills I can practice and perfect.

Fantastic experience: AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!! I've been to MPDC three times: level one twice and level two once. I signed up the first time four years ago and decided I needed a refresher course last year since it's been so long...plus it gave me an opportunity to drag my girlfriend out. She was nervous, this was her first driving class like this. Ryan, Haden, Nalani, and Izzy did a great job making her feel comfortable and encouraging her....and their skills at both driving and being great teachers was reflected in my girlfriend. She killed it! She was hitting 90s, 180s, chases....all of it! It was awesome to see! (and yes, she perfected the techniques before I did :D) As for me, I had such a great time I came back for level 2. Again, many of the same awesome people were training us along with Chris being lead. Another great experience. Chris and the team were patient, making sure you were understanding the physics of the car and getting the techniques down while at the same time challenging you to step up your game. We live in Texas so this isn't something we can do on a regular basis (otherwise I'd be there for every event learning from these guys with tune-up classes and joining the Burnouts and BBQ completion!)...this said, if you're in the same boat or if you're in the area and enjoy driving/the magic of the movies or are looking at gaining the experience to become a stunt driver THIS IS THE PLACE!!!

Fantastic experience: What an absolute blast! The 'Experience' MPDC offers is certainly a gateway drug to wanting to take the full course because it offers a chance to quickly and expertly try out fun and technical driving that have will have you sliding around the test track in no time. Never having experienced stunt driving myself, other than being a stupid teenager decades ago, I found the instructions thorough and encouraging. The instructors really want you to learn and feel how to drive properly. They tirelessly keep encouraging drivers with critical feedback to improve while still remaining positive and encouraging. As someone who teaches photography to beginners, I understand the patience that has to go into making a program like this successful for the students so they learn safely how to perform at their best. It's not just a bunch of people who are skilled at driving. It is a group who also understands how to instruct and care for their students. You will drive away with a grin on your face that will last for days whether you take the shorter experience like me or a full 3-day course.

Fantastic experience: I took the level 1 course and thought it was the best learning experience I’ve ever had. The instructor’s were all so helpful and worked with us one on one often to make sure we had it. The track has more than enough space to be safe and they provide you with a bunch of working cars.

Fantastic experience: Took the Level 1 class just for fun and loved it. Learned a lot, all the instructors were great and it was one of the most fun things I’ve done in years. Can’t wait to go back and take the Level 2 class.

Fantastic experience: This past week I had the great pleasure of attending the Motion Picture Driving Clinic for Super Level 1 Certification and I can honestly say it was the most fun I’ve ever had on four wheels. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Ryan and the instructors were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If you are having trouble with any of the stunts they take the time to help you fix the issue. Having this peace of mind gives you confidence and knowledge to build upon as you move on to the next stunt. A couple more great aspects of MPDC is that Ryan Sturz and the other Lead instructors are veteran working stuntmen from Film, Televison and Commercials. . I mean who better to teach you than those who actually do the job. Yet Another benefit of the school is the Seat Time. Most schools promise plenty of time but the MPDC delivers. This is very important because you can only learn through doing and the Seat Time allows you to progress way faster than you would otherwise. In conclusion I would like to say, Thanks to all of the people at the MPDC, and I can’t thank you enough for the great experience. I’ll be seeing you all very soon for Level 2!!

Fantastic experience: I have been wanting to get into the film industry, especially stunt driving, and after a bunch of researching driving clinics and courses, I decided on MPDC. The course covered way more than I expected, the trainers were very good at connecting with me and the rest of the small group of students there. The cars were all spot on, featuring many of the components an actual stunt car sports. Not only was the technical experience awesome, but the words of knowledge from professionals in the industry were just as crucial to know. The owner, stunt performer and lead trainer Ryan Sturz offered a lot of insight into the industry, and we were treated by some drop ins by other industry professionals who were happy to share their experiences! So if you’re looking to get into the stunt driving industry, or just want to fine tune your skillset, I’d highly recommend a visit here.

Fantastic experience: Safe and fun training with great knowledgeable staff. I've done both their super level 1 and 2 course. Instructors are unrelenting when it comes to working with each student to ensure they achieve goals of the course.

Fantastic experience: MPDC was one of the most informative and enjoyable courses I have ever taken. The coaches are outstanding. They take the time to make sure you are learning the safest proper technique while having fun with it. I highly recommend this course for anyone that’s interested in stunt driving.
