Fantastic experience: Coach Jane was fantastic. She was very patient and helped ease my nervousness. She was a wonderful teacher.

Fantastic experience: Jane was so great with my son. She was friendly and put him at ease for his driving test. She also gave a few pointers for areas that needed attention. She was very clear about the paperwork and the process. The DPS paperwork can be overwhelming for the parent taught course, and she made it much easier for me to navigate. I highly recommend this driving school!

Negative experience: The driving school was good but it is impossible to get driving times. They offer only a few lesson scheduled twice a month. It has been impossible to get lessons times as all the slots are filled within minutes of them being posted. as far as the instructions they are good and my kids like them. But we have only been able to schedule 4 lesson in 7 months.

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience with Cypress Driving Academy! I did Parent Taught for my daughter. Coach Adam has been incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the process. Thank you for all your time and effort. I also want to give a big thank you to the kind lady who helped me schedule my daughter’s DPS road test. She was polite, patient, and made sure I had all the information I needed. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: The classroom portion of Cypress Driving Academy was excellent for my son. The lessons were clear, engaging, and well-structured, making it easy for him to understand the rules of the road. The instructor kept students involved and made sure everyone stayed on track. It gave him a solid foundation before getting behind the wheel. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Quite possibly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Attempted to pick up my sons certificate and have it transferred to his new drive school so he can take his license test. I was told it’s probably not there since it’s been two years (took my son awhile to get this completed). She said it must have been shredded and when I asked what I can do as I spent a lot of money at each school and he needs to get his license, she just shrugged with her hands and said “it’s been 2 years.” I asked her to have some empathy and why she was being so nonchalant. She talked over me, had an abrasive attitude and then stated that she found him in her computer and he never finished his last drive hour. She said he was supposed to schedule one more and never did. When I asked why I wasn’t told that he had not completed all tasks, she said “you could have looked in the portal.” She then stated that too much time had passed when I asked if he could complete his last drive hour there and shrugged again when I asked what I am supposed to do. A gentleman that was sitting there, asked her if she could transfer the drive to his new school and he could complete it there. She clearly knew this was an option because she started writing out the transfer paperwork shortly thereafter. She interrupted me while I was on the phone with his new drive school to confirm he could complete his last drive with them (which I have to pay for) and gave me a hard time about not giving her the full name of the school. I am a single mom with 3 kids and I had my 11 year old daughter with me. We had a long discussion about professionalism and respect after this encounter and she was proud of the way I handled the situation. As a disabled veteran with PTSD, I was very triggered but made a conscious effort to treat her with respect, even though she did not do the same for me. I think this school should evaluate the way she talks to customers or they may lose many more customers.

Negative experience: Definitely better places to go than here. I went here and the drive times were poorly serviced and driving instructors were very rude.

Fantastic experience: First time been here. I tooked my road test with cypress driving school and they were very nice. They are way better than the DPS.
