Smart Wheels Driving Academy

Negative experience: I am beyond dissatisfied with this driving school. My daughter, Kimora, enrolled in the program and was told she could complete the course in July 2024. However, after we moved out of Dallas, I made multiple attempts to contact the school for guidance on how Kimora could finish her remaining driving hours, but I’ve received no responses whatsoever. I first reached out on August 9, 2024, asking for an update on completing the hours. After no reply, I followed up again on October 17, 2024, offering to bring Kimora back to Dallas to finish the course, yet still no response. It’s now January 5, 2025, and my daughter has still not completed her required driving hours. I have sent several text messages and emails, all of which have been ignored. This lack of communication and professionalism is completely unacceptable. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBB) because I can’t help but wonder how many others have had their money taken without receiving the service they paid for. At this point, I am requesting a full refund for the incomplete portion of the course. I would strongly advise against enrolling here, as the lack of customer service and follow-through is deeply frustrating and unprofessional.

Negative experience: I want to express my experience at Smart Wheels Driving School Academy. Tracy was very nice at the beginning of my son's enrollment May 2024. Before signing my son up, I ask about the scheduling for the summer classes. Tracy stated she would have morning and evening classes which turned out not to be TRUE. After getting his permit, I reached out to Tracy inquiring about him starting his driving lessons. It was 30 days before he was scheduled to take driving lessons. I started asking questions and this is when she became VERY UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE. When scheduled to drive she NEVER provided copies of my son's driving progress report. Everything was verbally nothing in writing. I asked my son how was the driving process going with Tracy. He stated Coach B was the one teaching him behind the wheel. I asked Tracy if Coach B could give me an progress report she being to get VERY UPSET. This when I started to do my own research on Smart Wheels Driving School. I found out through TDLR Coach B(Darian Brisco) license expired July 27, 2024. My concern was I wasn't provided any documentation stating my son completed the course. Due to documentation not being provided my communication with Tracy was text only. I text Tracey asking if my son was on the driving schedule for Monday 8/26 & Wednesday 8/28 she stated by text no he is not on the schedule. My response was "May I ask why not"? Tracy stated "Some one else is scheduled. He is ready to take his test. He completed his lessons. He completed parallel parking on yesterday". I still have nothing in writing just a text. This was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I would get everything in writing and fully verify instructors are licensed before signing my child up for this driving school.I SIGNED MINOR TEEN CONTRACT NOT ADULT YOU AND I BOTH KNOW THIS & I HAVE PROOF.

Fantastic experience: I had a great Experence here. The teacher that taught me was very helpful and very positive approach. Everything was easy to Understand and was able to get my DL the first time!

Coach B was very patient and very thorough with my child’s driving experience. I would HIGHLY recommend this business. It is great to have a drive school in Oak Cliff.

Fantastic experience: It was the BEST experience I had. I learned a lot about driving even though it had corny videos but they did help me in the end, and everyone was nice and the teacher was funny so I think it was a great experience!

Fantastic experience: I was surprised to find a new driving school in my area. It was only minutes away. Class times were great for my schedule too. My son passed all of his tests with high scores on the first try. We were prepared with all the documents to complete the state driving tests as well. Smart Wheels was a smart choice!

Fantastic experience: I love this place the best place I came to i call and talk to Ms.Tracey Williams she a sweet nice person who have a heart and understand me what I need to pass to get my road test to done I recommend anyone to go to her because she will help you to get whatever you need what she does 1. Have Class Students under 18 2.Have Class For Adults over 18- 21 3 Have Class For Adults 21 to up 4. Take road test 5. She pretty reasonable and it was only $75 so yall make sure to ask for Ms. Tracey Williams I promise yall wont regret thank you again Ms Williams God Bless
