Safeway Driving School

Fantastic experience: I have had 3 kids go through Safeway driving school and ALL have passed their driving tests with flying colors the first time. I am so grateful for the hard work of their instructors. Jonathan really made all the difference for my boys. He’s an excellent instructor and just an overall cool guy!! Thank you so much Safeway!!!! Now I am no longer the chauffeur. :)

Fantastic experience: Donna and Randy were both great! Both of my kids did their driving lessons at Safeway and we had a great experience!!! I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: My daughter started with coastline and our best decision was to switch to Safeway. The owner and his team really care, they find solutions to accommodate your needs and concerns, they are available and Ahmad, her driving instructor, is a true professional. She got her license with flying colors and she is a responsible driver. Thank you !

She prepared our daughter so well that she passed her driving test the first time! Thank you, Sharon! Donna was also so kind and helpful every time I called from my first inquiries to signing up and scheduling lessons for both of our teenagers. Thank you for everything, Safeway!

Fantastic experience: I gifted my older mom driving lessons from Safeway Driving. Donna who took my calls was very helpful in answering all my questions and concerns, and made sure my mom got an instructor who would be extra patient and encouraging. And my mom really appreciated her instructor Sharon, who was both patient and encouraging, which is exactly what she needed after not driving for many years. Highly recommend them for new drivers or for those who, like my mom, hadn't driven in a long time and was a bit afraid of getting back behind the wheel.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this School. Sharon is the best instructor. Sometimes she talks like a therapist which I love. She helps the kids to build confidence . Get her if possible.

Negative experience: Read their cancellation policy for late fee charge. If your kid gets sick and cancel they still charge for $50 - you don't get sick w 48 hrs notice. Also, TO office don't offer weekend lesson even the website state that 7 days a week lesson. I bought for my 2 teens and now I have to drive to all the way to Simi Valley for their lesson because I can't get them lesson on Saturday - with my full time working and their busy high school schedule, how is that possible? I should've look somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great instruction from Sharon. She prepared my child well for the driving test resulting in a perfect score at the DMV! I also appreciated Donna, in the office, for being friendly and thorough too.

Fantastic experience: Nice school to practice driving! I'm a late bloomer to the driving world - this is my second driving school therefore I really wanted to get my driver's license this time around. Overall my experience was good. I got the 6-hour package and I felt like I got the feedback I needed to be confident on my driver's test. I like that we practiced on the exact DMV route, which made me feel really comfortable. The canyon lesson took me for a loop but I was happy I experienced it. I passed my DMV test on my first try! So many thanks to Safeway and especially to my instructor Jim.

Fantastic experience: Sharon B is the best driving instructor! She is calm, attentive and instructive. She showed my daughter not only the basics but instilled in her confidence by assuring her that driving is not only rules but also a technique for safely! Sharon you are great.

Fantastic experience: This is my second child to attend the Safeway Driving School. It is the best in the area. The office is responsive and knowledgable about what the process is for getting your child's license. Donna, in the office is amazing! Love her as she is kind hearted, patient and always willing to help. My kids have enjoyed every lesson on the road and feel safe behind the cars provided. Would recommend to anyone looking for a driving school
