Fantastic experience: Before I took lessons from The Driving Center I thought I was too behind to learn how to drive, and even the thought of driving made me nervous. I took 6 hours of driving lessons from Matt and he was an amazing teacher. He was patient, gave me great advice for all types of driving situations, and taught me skills to not only drive effectively but safely as well. Now I don't feel like driving is this impossible and intimidating task, but rather something I can actually practice confidently.

Fantastic experience: As a student, the class has taught me rules of the road and how to react in unsuspecting situations. Tho the driving sim they got kinda sucks cuz the gas is too powerful and steering turn way too much. Overall it was a very informative class.

The instructors will also take their time and make sure everyone understands the info presented. There isn't a single place that deserves a 5 star review more than the driving center.

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend!! The instructors care for their students in their program! They are super nice, are a good price, and help teach you and get you your license fast. You learn so much in this class too keep you and others safe. Whether you have experience driving or it’s your first time, these people are here to help you and don’t judge you!

This class made me feel confident with myself, made me more aware and motivated me to encourage others to be safe drivers. Matt is incredibly patient and a well-rounded instructor who’s seen all kinds of drivers and knows what steps to take to help them be safer and make better decisions.

Fantastic experience: Eighteen years ago, I was hit by a drunk motorcyclist while waiting to cross the street. I was thrown into traffic and a taxi ran over the tip of my foot. Miraculously, the pointy high heel saved it from being crushed. While my foot healed, the trauma stayed with me. For nearly two decades, I couldn’t even imagine driving. Then I met Matt. Matt is more than a driving instructor—he’s calm, patient, and genuinely cares. His soft tone and step-by-step guidance made me feel safe and understood. He never rushed me or judged my fear. Instead, he helped me rebuild trust in myself, one lesson at a time. If you’re anxious about driving or have been through something traumatic, I can’t recommend Matt enough. He made what once felt impossible truly possible for me. Thank you, Matt, you're the BEST of the BEST!

Fantastic experience: At the start i haven't driven a car in my life or learned anything but stop signs and red lights mean stop now after one week and. 2/3 lessons I know about all sorts of signs and rules of the road. But the thing that made this special us the instructors and there ability to keep things fun and engaging rather than sitting at a table being bored with life like regular school which made it much easier to learn and retain information. I can highly suggest this service the price may seem high but its worth your life or your families lifes. Thanks for making the roads a safer place Matt and Kolten!

Fantastic experience: Matt and husband team are great! They have made our new driver feel more confident behind the wheel. He went into the class sessions with his permit already but the refresher along with the behind the wheel training was worth it to him (and us!) Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: As someone who's been coming here since the beginning of the year I can say this place is 100% worth it for efficient driving lesson. The driving instructor Matt is great, easy to work with and gives genuine feedback. It is also the most affordable given it's competition and you get your money's worth for 1 on 1 lessons or even his classes. Take your teens to learn here and for adults like myself come here if you don't have resources to learn how to drive, it is great!

Fantastic experience: Excellent theory and interactive theory classes. On road lessons were planned for me the such that they covered night, rainy and fog conditions. Instructor way of teaching is friendly and he continuously evaluates and focus on improving the student learning. Best driving school in Oak Ridge. Their schedules are really tight, I suggest contacting them at least 2 weeks early.

Fantastic experience: Very professional, easy to deal with and excellent instructors! They answered the phone in the first ring and went out of their way to accomodate us. Now, we have a graduate of the school who actually knows how to drive unlike a lot of people these days. I highly recommend them!
