Roland Park Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: My son attended this school and learned a lot! He passed his Behind the Wheel test the first time, and he parallel parks better than me .
Fantastic experience: Great instructors and professional. They were great at getting me from the parking lot and onto the highway! Great for adult learners too. 10/10
Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Roland Park Driving School! The instructors, Mr. Paul and Ms. Crystal, made all the difference. Mr. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and patient, making sure I felt comfortable and confident behind the wheel. He takes the time to explain everything thoroughly, which really helped me understand the rules of the road. Ms. Crystal, brought such a positive vibe to every lesson. She’s supportive and encouraging, which made the learning process stress-free and enjoyable. Both instructors genuinely care about their students’ success and safety. I’m grateful to have learned from them and highly recommend Roland Park Driving School to anyone looking for patient, professional, and friendly instructors. Thanks, Mr. Paul and Ms. Crystal, for helping me become a confident driver!
Fantastic experience: Patrick Francis is no longer the owner of this school. The new management has made many improvements.
Fantastic experience: The instructors are great at teaching. I sent my daughter here 2 years ago and she still drives with two hands. And she gets on me about not fully stoping at a stop sign. Now my son is enrolled. I always recommend this driving school when ever the conversation occurs.
Fantastic experience: I recommend all new drivers to come to this school. Professionalism was a 10/10, Thank you Ms. Crystal for the opportunity!
Fantastic experience: Good
Negative experience: They never open. I doubt if it is genuine.
Positive experience: The standard driver's ed zoom classes were fine. Your driving experience depends on the mentor/teacher you get. My behind the wheel sessions were mixed, depending on which driving instructor I got. For teachers, Courtney was great (not sure if still there) but Robert was awful, but luckily he's long gone. I also took some mentorship hours with Helen and it was a pleasure to work with her, would highly recommend her.
Negative experience: Driving instructor tries to run bicyclists over and then threatens them. This is illegal and malicious.
Positive experience: I saw somebody on the road and it was average at best. Wrong turning signals and driving extremely slow. Better luck next time.
Negative experience: I believe learning is done by doing. One of instructor this school has made worst day. She had 1 on 1 driving lesson with some scumbag instructor name ROBERT in this school. First he changed his time twice. 10 to 12 and 12 to 1. After the lesson my daughter came back crying about ROBERT making snarky comments like "maybe you should get out of the car" or "In USA we drive in left lane" as if he is mocking her being Asian. She had few lesson with other instructor just fine in this school. Def avoid this school. They have some awful driving instructor.
Fantastic experience: This school is the definition of tough love. They will warn you of the dangers of driving that you need to know. They don't baby you until you drive well but instead teach you to drive the way you need to learn. They train excellent drivers and that is what is required from a Driving School. The sassy comments from Patrick Francis can be a little much but as long as you keep in mind that he is like that with everyone and don't take it personally, you will be just find.
Fantastic experience: Competent, helpful instructors. Flexible scheduling. Professionally run school.
Negative experience: The driving instructor Patrick needs to learn to keep his snarky comments and negativity to himself. If you can avoid having him as a driving instructor you'd probably have a more positive experience... and I would've given more stars.
Fantastic experience: Love the guy
Negative experience: Horrific experience! Extremely rude and unprofessional. As a student, would you want your instructor telling you that you are a bad driver, telling you about how many car accidents happen every year, yelling at you, and making you feel nervous all of this going on while you are behind the wheel? If not, please take your money elsewhere! Patrick Francis is the owner of the school and he is also the instructor that I speak of. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!! Please take heed to what I am saying.
