Negative experience: I booked a course with this company after reading multiple positive reviews. Well, I feel obligated to share my experience. I booked a month before the course. I was emailed multiple times confirming the class. I show up at the facility (Iron Mountain Park) but Ora Offroad never showed up. The ladies at the check in said I was at the right place. They knew all about these courses. (Ora rents the facility from Iron Mountain). The guy never showed. (The ladies at the facility said he was Mike). He never returned calls, txts, or emails. He didn't return call/txt from the people working at the facility. This was over a week ago, still nothing. No refund yet either. I waited this long to post to give the company a chance to reach out- but nothing. Be warned!

Fantastic experience: Man, Mike was a fantastic. We took on challenges and obstacles I didn’t think I’d ever do, and Mike was great w/ explaining the situation, how to pick the line and WHY. Also learned a ton about proper recovery techniques, proper use of soft shackles, how to use my winch, and snatch block. Multiple snatch blocks actually. Can’t recommend Mike enough. Really good dude and good teacher.

Fantastic experience: Had an incredible 1 on 1 class with ORA. Going from 0 experience and extremely nervous to incredibly competent by the end of the day was incredible. Can't wait for the next one. Highly recommend ORA!!

Fantastic experience: Mike was great to work with . My wife bought me this full day Jeep rides. with Mikes knowledge and experience, I feel that I’ve learned a lot in one day which gave me the confidence to explore and enjoy the Jeep and trails around us. I was really impressed by his recovery techniques and gear which I know will help me one day get out of trouble. Thank you very much for great experience and learning today.

Fantastic experience: Mike is awesome! Had a absolutely great time! Did a large group sunset ride that went very well for the size and had a mixture of vehicles and skill levels throughout. Anyone that got stuck, was quickly assisted.

Fantastic experience: This class is awesome. The instructors are amazing. The perfect balance of fun and knowledge. I am way more confident when out on the trails now. If you are considering it, just do it. You won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic course! We had so much fun and learned a lot. Mike and Brandon know their stuff, forward and backward, and were informative and encouraging. I now have an obsession and can't wait to get the gear I need to become a serious off-roader.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I attended the ORA off-roading 101 class. Mike and his team are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable and made us feel welcomed and comfortable even though we were novices and completely new to off-roading. The class is well structured. It starts with the fundamentals and continues to build. Before I knew it we were traversing logs, hills and water. What a cool experience! If you want to learn how to really "use" your jeep, you like mud and good times...This is the place for you!

Fantastic experience: I was gifted the beginner class for Christmas 2021. After a few reschedules here and there, I was finally able to take the class on the first week of July (a few days before my birthday). Mike and JP were awesome. They were very, very nice, extremely encouraging, and SUPER knowledgeable. I can’t say enough about them. The class itself was awesome. Learning the do’s and don’ts of off-roading, learning about recovery gear and how to use it properly are things that always intimidated me. These guys make it so that there is nothing to be scared of, and it’s knowledge that I will always value moving forward. And of course, just having fun and getting dirty was an experience I’ll NEVER forget. 5 stars isn’t enough. These guys are true pros. You won’t regret this class. As stated before, this was a Christmas gift, but was the perfect start to my birthday week. I can’t thank them enough.

Fantastic experience: I have been apart of this class multiple times and I am always impressed with the reaction of the people who are in the class. I have never seen or heard anything negative from them, they are always excited about the information and everything they have experienced while taking it. Mike and JP are providing a service that to me is obviously needed from the response of confidence and happiness of everyone. I highly recommend this class for anyone who has zero experience to moderate experience because everyone can learn something in the class they give. Safety, education, and treading lightly is the highest concern for both of them.

Fantastic experience: My wife & I participated in the ORA off-road Adventure 101 class today. We had a great time. Instructors, Mike & JP, were through and not only gave you the confidence to operate your Jeep properly and safely but also confidence in your Jeep’s ability. Our wheeling adventures will be much more fun with the confidence we gained today. We highly recommend ORA Off-road Adventure 101 class to all new wheelers and even seasoned wheelers who haven’t taken this class to do so.
