Rite-Way Driving School Inc: Reviews
Fantastic experience: I had great experience driving. Learned a lot. Feel more confident. And had the best driving instructor ever!
Fantastic experience: I'm an adult learner and I opted for the learning bundle that includes the online course and six hours of behind-the-wheel lessons. My experiences with Rite-Way have been good. The staff members that I interacted with over the phone to inquire about their services and then later to schedule driving lesson appointments were very nice and incredibly helpful. During my scheduling call I had an unforeseen emergency and had to get off the phone quickly. I was worried about getting back in touch because it was toward the end of the day. To my pleasant surprise I received a call from Rite-Way a short time later and was able to continue the scheduling process. My behind-the-wheel lessons have been provided by the owner of the business. He's professional, has an upbeat attitude, and best of all he really knows his stuff. I still need a lot of practice before I'm prepared and experienced enough to take my driving test. I was happy to schedule more lessons with Rite-Way even beyond the initial six-hour course to help me along the way.
Thank you so much !
Fantastic experience: This is the best driving school! And Bob is the best instructor I could’ve had, he explains everything in an amazing way. And he makes driving look easy.
So glad you had a good experience !
Fantastic experience: My child enjoyed the behind the wheel instruction with their drivers. He did the online portion for classroom time which was convenient. They are very good at communication and reminding us about appointments.
Negative experience: They are very rude here. I suggest going to your local BMV to take your driving test. Instructors are very rude and very unhelpful. They ruined my confidence as a driver as a whole. They give very little instructions during driver lessons and wonder why you did not pass your drivers test. They are very rude and mean about you not doing well in driver test. I strongly advise going to a local BMV. Did not care about anything but the money. Heard multiple stories of how they fail people’s drivers license test to receive more money. If I could give no stars I would.
This student failed her license test because she ran a red light. She also did not know how to turn left at a flashing yellow arrow.
After taking drivers ed., each student is REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A 50 HOUR DRIVING LOG. I wonder if this student did ALL 50 hours ? Hmm…. with all the mistakes she made on her test, probably not.
We are a responsible driving school. We don’t pass drivers who should be failed (like some other driving schools do) just to get your business.
Negative experience: Staff does not care about explaining anything once they have your money. Very rude!!
This is not the usual experience. Just give us a call and you’ll see !
Negative experience: very poor and rude services by teachers. Always a situation going on with your drives or rescheduling class time. Teachers have a very rude or biased opinion. I would personally do everything through the BMV
Sorry you felt that way. It is the students responsibility to show up for driving lessons & their classes. This student did not keep one of their scheduled driving appointments, so they had to pay a cancellation fee . ( Every driving school has this type of policy).
This student also failed her driving license test because she couldn’t make left turns safely, stopped too close to other vehicles, forgot to signal, forgot to check the blind spot, forgot to cancel her signal, couldn’t park and failed to follow instructions. I don’t know about you, but I think most people would agree that she shouldn’t have passed.
I wonder if this student did ALL of her REQUIRED 50 HOURS OF HER DRIVING LOG ? Hmm… probably not.
I can give you the names and numbers of hundreds of students who happily & successfully completed drivers educ. @ Rite-Way Driving School this past year. Please call us, anyone.
Negative experience: Pain in the butt. Difficult to understand as English is not their first language. Could only schedule test if I took my daughter out of school early. No thanks. She can just go to bmv. Would definitely look at other options and not Rite Way.
What? Totally false !! Sort of a racist comment.
Negative experience: Drivers ed here was not worth much to me, extremely difficult to contact these people. You have to call and leave a message, and hope they call you back.
This doesn’t make sense. We are open M - F 9am to 5pm. After business hours, we monitor our phone answering system & emails continuously. The only other driving school doesn’t even have a phone answering system after business hours !
Fantastic experience: Both of my children have attended this school recently. I feel the instruction they received has properly prepared them to pass their DL test and driving test. No complaints here. Thank you.
Thanks for the nice review.
Fantastic experience: I went here and loved every bit of the class. Thought was well worth every penny spent.
Such a nice compliment…thank you very much!
Negative experience: Treated rudely when I called to ask questions about their business.
This doesn’t make sense…our staff has a vast knowledge of our drivers education program and all that a person needs to know about getting their permit and license.
Negative experience: Unfair Business Practices. We enrolled our daughter for the driving sessions and had to reschedule three times the fourth appointment she attended the class and completed the 2 hour on road driving session. Upon completion of that class the next 2 sessions were schedule with this company. One week later the owner called us to notify us that our daughter has been kicked out of the class because she has rescheduled 3 times. Furthermore, the agreement with this company does not have any of this listed, outlined or agreed upon and was simply the decision of the owner to no honor the agreement. The result of this decision has created a situation where my daughter did not complete the driving portion of drivers education in the allotted time frame resulting in us having to spend additional money to enroll at a new drivers education company to complete the driving portion of the class. The owner refuses to address this in a professional manner and honor the agreement, however, he did cash my check for the class.
We prefer to pass on our professional knowledge to customers who are serious about becoming a safe responsible driver. (not some one who could never commit to doing her driving lessons).
Our policy DOES STATE THAT A STUDENT MUST COMPLETE THE DRIVERS ED PROGRAM IN NINE MONTHS….(plenty of time) I’m glad you went elsewhere, so we didn’t have to deal with some one so fickle. You people were a real pain.
