Negative experience: I suggest no one attend this school. I paid for training almost a month ago. $549 to be exact. After paying I never heard anything from Willie Jones or latosha(whatever). FINALLY AFTER A WEEK. I finally get in touch with her just to hear her sorry tied excuses. I decided to try to proceed to get training but of course Nothing. After a few days of calling Just give me my money. She said 14 business days, 14 business days come nothing. Long story short. Don't waste your time on this woman. It's a shame our own people do things like this to their own. Classless Clowns. God got something for you and it won't be nice

Negative experience: Never told us where class is actually held. Apply at your own risk!!!!!!

Negative experience: Please do not attend this school. If I could give it a 0 rating I would. The school IS NOT located at the address shown on the website. Communication is lacking, the owner is not trustworthy, equipment may or may not work (per student verification), and when it rains no driving training takes place. You may or may not get your license on time. Go anywhere but here.

Fantastic experience: The center has some of the most well-educated drivers, and safety is one of their top priorities. DSC is top notch and prepares their drivers well.

Negative experience: It seems as though the owner is very interested in responding to negative reviews online so perhaps this review will garner the attention it needs to produce results. My boyfriend attended this school. When applying you pay $500 and upon successful completion of the program and verification of entering into training at Total Transportation you are then refunded the $500. He has been with Total now for three months and had made NUMEROUS (approx 10) phone calls to DSC and has been given the run around every time. The same excuses of awaiting verification from Total, waiting on the check to be cut, or the person responsible is out have all been given over and over. Verification has been given from Total (he's checked with them more than once). At this point this is considered a blatant breach of contract and is unacceptable and just plain unprofessional. We are unsure as to what the next steps should be towards basically forcing this school to comply with the terms that they themselves market during admission. It is unneccessary to have to consider consulting with legal professionals on such a trivial matter. The sheer principle, however, warrants escalation. Update: In response to the owner- “The graduate” was Provided with all policies upon entering the program and has satisfied all qualifications to receive the refund. When posting this review I provided no personal information that would identify “the graduate”. Therefore, For future references, instead of trolling the review section Ready to provide Generic responses to combat negative reviews it would be more appropriate/professional to wait until actual business hours and further investigate matters and make an actual attempt to rectify the failure on the business end. Just as the public reading this review cannot identify him neither can you so I’m confused as to how you readily responded as if you knew “the graduate” in question. But thank you for your time. Perhaps tomorrow when he attempts to call again, the response will be more of an urgent nature and resolved.

Fantastic experience: Having witnessed several students enter the program previously and graduate has been a pleasure. I can personally state that DSC Training Academy has changed several lives in just a short time (4-5 weeks). The academy has small class sizes and one on one time with the instructors. The classroom settings are a place where students can ask questions and review as needed. Once students begin to train with the commercial vehicle, the instructors on the yard are patient and are willing to put in extra time with the students. The environment is encouraging and inviting.

Fantastic experience: DSC Training Academy has played a pivotal role in my success in the transportation industry so far. In four short weeks, I was given the tools necessary to move forward to a great company. There were times that I couldn’t quite seem to get the maneuvers due to mental blocks but the instructors were patient and able to show me different ways of maneuvering in order for me break that wall down mentally and get my CDL. That was the best part of the entire experience; I felt as if everyone was motivated to see me succeed. I wasn’t just a number. I now have a career where I feel confident and empowered to build for my family. I cannot thank them enough. If you’re looking for a good school, look no further!

Negative experience: my boyfriend is in school here. he was supposed to test on thursday but couldn’t because it was raining. you would think the test would be postponed until the next testing day (following tuesday), but the school failed to mention that their only tester would be out for surgery for two weeks!! this should have been mentioned to anyone that may have been testing around the date she would be out. since they failed to mention this important information, they could have at least found a sub for her. it’s okay, they’re only stopping their students from getting their cdl and getting a job
