Road Star Driving School: Reviews
Negative experience: As previously reviews have said, you cannot schedule drives. My son has been trying to schedule is drives for months. There is no availability no matter how often we have tried. No one is ever at the office and the phones go to voicemail with no return call. Do NOT recommend.
Hello Genella, first of all, I am sorry you are having issues scheduling. Have you left a message when you called? Asking because with the call volume and spam calls we receive there is no way to return just missed calls. We do pride ourselves on returning all messages within 48 hours, so if you have left a message, I will look into and see what the issue is. As far as drives, to be fair to everyone, we post drives on the second Friday of every month for the next month's drives. That way everyone knows when they are posted and does not have to randomly keep checking website. Looking at student's account activity, I feel this is the issue as no one has been logged in or right after posting days since July. No worries, we will do our best to help you out, please send a text or leave a voicemail to Dana as she covers our Evansville office for us at 1 812 589-5912 and will help you out. I am sorry you feel having issues, We have had a few phone issues this past week and had to get new work cell phones. That should alleviate any voicemail issues we were experiencing. Due to our high call volume, there is no way we can answer every incoming call, however, we always return any messages left. Negative experience: We have 4 kids enrolled. We can not get a drive scheduled or a return call or email. Do not waist your time or money. We are having to wait the amount of days and just go to the dmv to get there license. They should not keep enrolling students if they don’t have the drivers. After $1600 from my family alone this year and then to just have there drives closed and not responding to people is not how u run a business.
Hello Anja, first of all thank you for entrusting us with your children's driver education. I am very sorry for your frustration but feel there is a bit of confusion. Your daughter has been the one communicating with our Evansville office manager, in fact several times since September 5th. I also looked into emails you mentioned and yours was sent September 10th with a reply on the 12th. Office manager mentioned that she has not received any replies to emails or voicemails she left since the 12th. It's always best to have one person that handles communication regarding driver education account to avoid confusion such as this. Fantastic experience: I have been extremely pleased so far with Road Star! Dana is delightful to work with and she goes above and beyond to work with us in getting our son's drives scheduled. Very thankful for Road Star and Dana. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: The class portion is simply the state required information- so same as anyone. Ms Margaret is a fabulous driving instructor. But the hoops to schedule drives and communication is problematic, at best.

As far as feel issues with scheduling and communication we pride ourselves on being the only company that you are able to schedule your drives online so at your convenience. I also created a getting started email that is a great checklist of how program works to help simplify everything and even lists documents needed at BMV when it's time to go there. Fantastic experience: This has been a great driving school for my daughter. The driving instructors are very nice and ensure that she is comfortable and ready to get on the road.

Negative experience: I'm a passenger in a semi with my fiancè, we are going down INTERSTATE highway 64 WEST.. and just passed one of your student driver cars with I'm assuming an instructor driving.. and let me tell ya I wouldn't want him teaching me if HE TEXT AND DRIVES!!
