Negative experience: Please Buyer Beware. Passes expires in a year and not transferable. Also they do not have or send contract /receipts of confirmation except Zelle receipt from your bank. It was Quite hard to get a hold of them when there are questions and never received a call back after leave messages. Quite disappointed after I found out by surprise there are expiration when I was ready to resume.

Fantastic experience: I passed my driving test after three lessons with David (I had some experience, but I needed more confidence, and my driving instructor took care of that). I highly recommend this school for new drivers or anyone trying to pass the DMV driving test. David has a car with dual brakes and gas, so he can help you whenever you need it. I felt very safe the whole time. Thanks, guys keep it up!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience with S.Pass Driving School! Despite having previous driving experience, I've always been extremely nervous at the wheel and always ended up failing my exams as a result. I took a total of 7 adult driving lessons with Angie and David, and saw a huge improvement in my driving skills and confidence. The office staff took really good care of me and Angie & David are really patient and encouraging instructors. I ended up passing my 2nd exam with zero errors thanks to Angie and David. Definitely recommending this school to all my friends in the San Gabriel Valley. Thanks again to Angie, David, and the office staff at S.Pass for all your help!

Fantastic experience: Angie and her team are the BEST! I didn’t think I would ever pass and I passed on my first test. They are patient and knowledgeable. It is a family run business and you get intimate care, anyone that has issues with their package reviews would be met with way worse circumstances at a franchise. I found Angie based on reviews. I wanted a personal touch when spending hours with someone trying to learn. You will not be disappointed. Sign up and you will soon be driving. I still plan on buying more packages so I can keep rehearsing my driving skills even after I passed. Thank you Angie and David for everything!!

Negative experience: Just be careful that the lessons can’t be transferred so I’m left with three extra ones wasting a few hundred dollars after I passed with only two lessons with them. there were different instructors each time with different teaching methods and such. You don’t really need that many lessons, just get one or two lessons to master the basics, then practice on your own with a parent; you don’t need to spend that much or else you’ll end up wasting a LOT of money

Fantastic experience: Hired S Pasadena Driving School for my daughter who was discouraged to continue her driving attempts due to failed driving tests and once she took the driving course with instructor Angie she was given the encouragement and confidence to try again and passed her test! Thank you for having such a great instructor and great customer service! 5 star rating!

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional. Driving around with fully extremely dark tinted front and back Honda Civic. What the hell. Almost hit my car. Dark tint like that isn't not even legal. I should have called the police.

Fantastic experience: 10 Stars!!! I had a wonderful experience with South Pass Driving School!!! Angie is excellent!!! She is a very thorough and patient instructor!!! My son had zero driving experience prior to having instruction with Angie. I paid for the 12 hour package prior to DMV closures from pandemic and then added 2 sessions along with the DMV test as a refresher. I was very happy with the great customer service when scheduling or rescheduling appointments. When requested, Angie provided feedback from lessons and areas that needed improvement for when we practiced alone. I must stress ***Students must also practice outside of driving school to reinforce the skills learned from driving school. South Pass driving school provided a great foundation to ensure my son knew the rules and how to be safe when driving. What I also liked about this driving school is the different vehicle size options. When doing research, other companies only had tiny hybrids. My son is a tall guy 6'02 to 6'03; they have a mid to full size vehicle available which was comfortable for him. Thank you Angie and South Pass Driving School!! As a parent too scared to teach my son to drive, you made it easy for me!! My son is a licensed driver now, thanks to you!!!

Fantastic experience: I am so pleased with Angie's driving lessons. In the last lesson before the test, she will give you many good tips and recommendations on how to improve your driving skills and avoid mistakes. She is attentive, patient and has an overall very positive and calming energy. I also like the reminders a day before the lesson and that they have a back up list in case somebody cancels.

Fantastic experience: Angie is an excellent driving instructor. She provides useful tips on what the examiner will pick on. I was nervous about parking and hitting the curb (which is an automatic fail). Being too far away from the curb is also bad. So Angie practised that with me multiple times and talked me through it during our drive of the test route. She talks a lot during the drive because she has a friendly personality. I received a reminder call the day before each of my lessons and they were always very professional. I passed on my first test with 2 errors. Thanks Angie and your team! I highly recommend South Pasadena Driving School for lessons.

Fantastic experience: I had an AWESOME experience with Angie at South Pasadena Driving School. After having failed my behind-the-wheel test multiple times, my confidence had gone down completely. But Angie got me ready within three lessons. She was very patient, attentive and dedicated. She gave me best tips and helped me get rid of my nervousness. It was only because of this driving school that I got my license in the first trial after taking lessons with Angie. And it wasn't my first driving school, the last one being the horrific Lincoln Park Driving & Traffic School, which was one of the worst customer experiences of my life. South Pasadena driving school on the other hand was worth every penny I spent. Angie is a very good teacher, and having been a teacher myself for over a decade, I can say that with certainty.

Negative experience: BUYER BEWARE!!! The whole experience with S Pass Driving School was Very unprofessional. It started from when I first called, got the information necessary and made appointments back to back for my daughter to learn how to drive. When I called to confirm her first appointment, I was told by Adriana that she only had one appointment booked for her and she would try to squeeze her in if she had any cancellations. Strike 1! Driving Instructor, Angie, who is also the Owner of this school was late 15 minutes to my daughter's first driving lesson and was very nonchalant about it. Strike 2! My daughter kept asking Angie questions about her driving and she noticed Angie was Texting "several times" during the lesson. Yes Texting!!! Strike 3! My daughter felt uncomfortable from the very beginning because she felt Angie was not paying attention to her driving at all. She kept asking her questions but felt Angie was not paying attention and was not teaching her correctly. Angie also kept instructing my daughter to do the same thing over and over and there was not enough clarification from Angie on points my daughter was asking related to her driving lesson. After the lesson was over, my daughter received a text via cell asking her what she thought about the lesson, it mentioned questionnaire was "Confidential" so my daughter proceeded to answer the questions honestly and mentioned the above and that she was not happy with the lesson and felt Angie did not teach her anything at all. She was trying not to get Angie in trouble as she did not know she was the Owner back then. That same day, I receive a call from Angie, telling me she had seen my daughters questionnaire and that she did not want to teach her anymore. She proceeded to tell me about my daughter's review word for word and she was not happy my daughter wrote that review and she cancelled her lessons right away. I did not know what was going on as I had not talked to my daughter yet about what happened that day so I told her to let me talk to her and that I would call her back but Angie insisted she did not want to teach her anymore. It was obvious by her tone that she was mad my daughter wrote that feedback about her. A few days later I called and spoke with Adriana about all this, asked to speak to the owner and she refused to give me any information. Finally after insisting, she told me Angie was the owner. She told me that the only reason Angie was texting was to confirm her appointments with my daughter because she said my daughter asked her when her next appointment was, which made no sense since Adriana had already told me she only had her down for One lesson and my daughter knew that. Even if that was the case, Angie is the instructor and should have told my daughter that she would check "after" the lesson was over and not text "during" the lesson when we were paying her to give her a driving lesson and not text. Adriana also proceeded to Excuse Angie for being late and said that she did make up the time and gave her 15 minutes at the end, which is true, but she did not understand the point, which was that it was Very Unprofessional for her to be late at all. I was late to work 15 minutes because I was waiting for her to show up, who pays for my time? Long story, short: Do NOT USE this Driving School as it is not a professional company to deal with at all. I did ask for my money back and they refused stating she got her lesson. My point was that this was NOT A LESSON AT ALL since Angie was NOT paying attention to my daughter's driving nor did she teach her anything, it was a waste of time and money!! By the way, there is a review from August 2016 that also complained about instructor being late a few times. I honestly believe that most of the reviews for this school are Not legitimate. BUYER BEWARE!!

Fantastic experience: To anybody who wants to learn how to drive the right way go to South Pass driving and Angie will make it come true! Angie made my 6 hours of driving a super enjoyable time and she helped me correct any errors I made. She also is very easy to talk to and nothing can go wrong if you go with South Pass Driving.
