Fantastic experience: The classroom portion of this driving school was extremely well organized. I especially want to give a shout-out to Cassie, who is seriously the best drivers ed teacher ever. She made learning about driving laws and safety tips fun and easy to understand. Thanks to her, I feel totally ready to ace my permit test and get behind the wheel!

Fantastic experience: The staff was cool.
Fantastic experience: My main experience here in green driving is that I am having more ideas in the driving/learning classes than ever before because I started doing qiz then went straight to seat for the exam which really disturbs me in some of the technical questions in the exams.however,I do appreciate our class teacher for her teaching field and videos she has been providing to educate us more in the field of driving and road signs.
Fantastic experience: Class was pretty easy and the spot is really convenient during breaks with the amount of places you can get food.
Positive experience: Driver’s education, commonly known as driver's ed, is an essential program for teaching individuals the rules of the road, safe driving habits, and vehicle operation. As more people rely on cars for daily transportation, it is increasingly important that drivers are well-prepared before getting behind the wheel. Driver’s ed plays a critical role in promoting road safety, boosting confidence in new drivers, and reducing accidents. One of the most important benefits of driver’s ed is that it helps keep our roads safer. Students in these programs learn about traffic laws, road signs, and proper driving behavior. They are taught how to handle dangerous situations like icy roads or emergency braking. This knowledge greatly reduces the risk of accidents. According to several studies, teens who complete driver’s ed are less likely to get traffic tickets or be involved in crashes compared to those who do not take the course. Another major advantage is that driver’s ed builds confidence in new drivers. Driving can be stressful, especially for beginners. With proper instruction and supervised practice, students gradually become more comfortable and confident behind the wheel. They get hands-on experience in real traffic situations, which helps them stay calm and make smart decisions when driving on their own. Driver’s ed also encourages responsible behavior. Instructors often emphasize the dangers of distracted driving, drunk driving, and speeding. These lessons teach young drivers to respect the responsibilities that come with operating a vehicle. When students understand the potential consequences of careless driving, they are more likely to develop safe habits that last a lifetime. Finally, many insurance companies offer discounts to teens who complete driver’s ed, which can help families save money. Some states even require driver’s ed to get a full license at a younger age, making it a helpful step for those eager to gain independence. In conclusion, driver’s ed is a valuable tool for preparing new drivers for the road. It promotes safety, builds confidence, encourages responsibility, and can even save money. With so many benefits, it’s clear that driver’s ed is not just good—it’s essential.
Fantastic experience: This school really change. First off no shitty awful instructors all of them are so nice and are care free. Steve is funny as hell and is Michael Myers. Fantastic experience: It was a good experience and a big learning experience that has made me realize a lot of importance in driving and in life. The best instructor ale / angel kind and easy to explain.
Positive experience: All great things to say about the driving instructed I had named Al, love him. He has a great smile and very positive outlook and never failed to educate my class while it being his first time teaching a class I can say he did a great job. He’s not afraid to dive deep into his emotions with us students and that made for a great welcoming environment.I now will be thinking about him anytime I debate not wearing my seatbelt. LOVE YOU AL!!!
Fantastic experience: I have read many of the reviews and I can agree the Spencer instructor (Joe) was not my sons favorite. He describe it as the worst driving experience ever. The Sturbridge instructors have been fantastic and the online course was very well done. The owner seems like a great guy and runs a very busy business well. Overall I think its a great school.
Fantastic experience: Highly recommend enrolling with Green Light Driving school! They have been nothing but amazing with helping to learn how to drive! Cassie has helped to ease my anxiety more when it comes to driving!
Fantastic experience: Joes a really good teacher and makes what he teaches stick!
Fantastic experience: I love everything about this so much I love green light I love all my instructors. Everybody needs a green light in their life. I love green light.
Fantastic experience: Joe is the best, he takes the time to help us understand.
Negative experience: Save your time and money by reading these reviews. Joe, an instructor at this driving school, exhibits highly unprofessional, aggressive, and racially insensitive behavior. From the first lesson, my daughter came back in tears due to Joe's aggressive conduct. When I confronted him, he admitted his behavior. I reported this to the owner, who assured me he would address it. Despite this assurance, the problem persisted. My daughter, who wears a religious headscarf, endured inappropriate and insensitive comments from Joe during a lesson. He stared at her in the rearview mirror while making stereotypical remarks about Muslims and their smoking habits. I contacted the owner again, who reiterated that he would "talk to him," a promise he had made before and evidently failed to uphold. When I expressed my dissatisfaction and insisted that Joe's behavior needed to be addressed more seriously, the owner responded dismissively, saying, "I'm not firing him. You can choose not to work with him anymore." Ultimately, I enrolled my daughter in another school. The owner also felt compelled to assure me of his non-racist stance and his friendships with Muslims. You are paying for a service. Avoid unnecessary stress and choose a more professional establishment.
Negative experience: I certainly would not recommend this school for anyone based on how their driving instructor drives. Tailgating and nearly forcing me off the road then speeding off and not using directional signals to turn. Maybe he forgot his coffee this am however it’s certainly more likely this is just how he acts daily. Plate number N27163.
Negative experience: Do not go through this driving school. By the time your kid gets to schedule lessons it’s nearly impossible to do so. You can only call on Fridays to schedule a lesson for the following week. If you get through you’re able to schedule a lesson unless they are full. In five weeks I’ve been able to schedule two lessons. One week they were full by 11 AM on Friday, the next week their mailbox was full so there was no way to leave a message to say you wanted a lesson. In the third week which is going to be my last week (switching to a different driving school) The voicemail said they will be out until Monday so call the following Friday! Zero communication they are not taking lessons this week anywhere on email or on their website. Buyer beware! ****They do not have enough instructors to do the lessons for the amount of students that they take into their school.*****
Negative experience: they never ever answer the phone unless there are classes going in, and that makes it too late for kids to register because the classes already started, they need someone who can pick up the phone super unprofessional and unorganized
Negative experience: Waited 1/2 hour for instructor to only be a no show. No phone call to inform why. Called owner and left message about incident. He must have relayed the message as rec'd call from instructor within minutes He was extremely rude, disrespectful, and very unprofessional. Not what I expect to pay for driver's education.
Fantastic experience: Both my son and daughter had/are having excellent experiences here. Personable instructors share real life examples and use humor to engage students. Kids not only learned a lot in class but had excellent field experiences, driving and observing. I have piece of mind with my kids on the road knowing the level of driver education my daughter received - and with my son, starting his field education next week. Instructors push the limits with their examples in order to grab students’ attention, in an effort to shock and drive home the hard fact that driving - a seemingly average, everyday experience - has life or death implications every single time. They are piloting a 2-ton missile with no traffic controller to guide them. Please continue to use whatever tactics are necessary to drive this home to our kids!
Negative experience: Im only giving a one star because it was the only way i could leave a review. My teen was enrolled at the Spencer site and the instructor, Steven makes racist comments during class and calls himself "The xenophobe". Brings up politics in a driving course and makes it known that he is a bigot. Unless you're ok with your kid being taught racism in driving school, i wouldn't recommend.
Negative experience: Driving instructor Leo is a creep
