Negative experience: Incredibly rude, passive aggressive staff and they were always super unhelpful. Pick another driving school; literally anywhere else will do.

Negative experience: I paid for in class and behind the wheel instruction for my son at their Amherst, OH location. I was finally approved to schedule for his behind the wheel training today and all the times available are when he will be back to school. No evenings and no weekends. How is that feasible for a teen program? They took all of my money and we only got half of the program. DO NOT send your kids here!

Negative experience: Customer service really sucks, and they are definitely professional. They don't talk to there customers with respect and they are very snobby. Will be taking my other kids to a different time school definitely.

Positive experience: If you want to schedule in-cars, you have to be very diligent. Check daily, 2-3 times. As of now, you will likely be most successful in hunting cancellations. Look multiple times a day, every day, and try to hunt cancellations. It is VERY likely you will be going to different places, and different instructors. I did the same thing. Don't be alarmed or worried about it, it's fine. You'll get appointments. Another strategy is if you have a lot of time before you want to get your license, and that is to wait until the beginning of a month to schedule. For example, on July 1st, the September schedule will open up. On August 1st, the October schedule opens up, and so forth. If all else fails and you can't get appointments, you can wait until the beginning of a certain month and schedule two months ahead. However, you probably won't need to do this. Try and stick to the first strategy (hunting diligently for cancellations), and you'll be just fine. You just have to be strategic about it.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed. I paid $499+ and have not been able to book a classroom class or a behind the wheel lesson. I've tried for the last 5 days in every city that is listed.

Negative experience: Paid well over $400 for my son to get behind the wheel training, all their businesses are booked well over 6 months ahead for any BTW training but they don't tell you that before they take your money. Not one person I talk with is helpful they make you feel like your questions are bothering them and they'd like nothing more than to get off the phone with you. Just all around aweful business

Negative experience: I originally gave this place 5 stars but after today, I had to edit it to a 1. 0 isn't available, unfortunately. I paid for my son to start the driving classes IN FULL BACK IN MARCH. He was supposed to start in April. Then they closed because of the coronavirus. I received an email saying they would be closed, classes were cancelled, and didn't know when they would be starting back up. I assumed I would get an email stating when they were starting classes again, especially since I paid IN FULL and was waiting, but I guess I expected too much from the office staff. I'm an essential worker so I had to work during the pandemic. I called on Tuesday, 9/1 and talked to Nitsa who informed me that they had been open since May. She was very rude and not helpful at all. She told me the next class started on 9/29 and I had to go online to register him, like I had done back in March. So I go on to register him and noticed that there was a class starting THAT EVENING, so I called back and talked to Deb, who was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly. I told her what had happened and asked if there was ANY way for my son to be able to start the class that evening. She checked and said there was room and she switched the classes for me. I've been checking EVERY day since he got into the class because Nitsa told me he couldn't register for the class until he started the classroom portion. There's NOTHING available through November?! This is completely unacceptable, especially since he SHOULD HAVE BEEN DRIVING BY NOW!! I called today and asked for Deb since she was helpful last time I talked to her, but she had the attitude today. I asked her if there was anything they could do to get him into his in-car classes since I had paid IN FULL back in March, he's now done with the classroom portion, he SHOULD HAVE BEEN driving by now, and his temps are going to expire by the time they're able to get him into the in-car classes, but she said nothing is available. Nitsa told me when I called on 9/1, that she could have done something to help if he had already started his classroom or finished them. But now Deb couldn't?! If you can find another driving school out there to send your teen, I would definitely look into it! They're not concerned who paid when or should have been driving by now, but they got their money, in full, and 6 months later, my son is STILL waiting for his in-car?! RIDICULOUS!! If they can't find a way to take care of this for us, I'll find someone who can!! I was more than understanding during the pandemic but frustrated they didn't email to say they were starting back up. Only emailed they were closed and classes cancelled. Hiring more in-car instructors might be a good idea. Training the office staff on good customer service is another idea, because if I had talked to anyone on the phone the way I was talked to, or not being willing to help, I wouldn't have a job. They need to remember the reason they're there and that it's not just a paycheck. I don't like to give 1 star or leave negative comments, especially after giving 5 stars, but I am BEYOND frustrated at this point.

Negative experience: My daughter completed the online 24 hours and I paid and registered her to do the 8 hours in person driving on July 28th and could not get any availability until August 27th and 28th. Checking the instructors schedules daily multiple times a day and I can't get any available dates to complete the last 2 days for the remaining 4 hours. I have heard there is a long wait just to get a test date and different locations because Elyria has not been doing them. At this rate I have no idea if she can even take the test this year since I keep getting the response "The schedules will open up soon." but nothing for almost 2 months since I paid $329 except 2 spots. I understand they are backed up but maybe not take people's money until you are caught up.

Fantastic experience: Tam was an excellent teacher who made the class informative as well as enjoyable. She treats you as a friend from day one. I couldn’t have asked for a better learning experience or teacher.

Fantastic experience: Had all of my driving classes in a classroom with Tam and they all went very good. She taught me a lot of information that I needed to know and she was good enough that I even got a 100% on the drivers test. I also had an in car with her today and it went very smoothly, she crammed a lot of things into one day and she made sure I was good at them all by the end of the in car.

Fantastic experience: I just got done finishing my course here at Professional Driving School in Amherst with TAM and I really enjoyed it. I had fun in every class and still learned everything I need to know. We had fun with drunk goggles and joking around. TAM is definitely the best teacher for driving school.

Fantastic experience: Tam is one of the best driving teachers. Very by the book to make sure we memorize and understand all the material. Highly recommend.
