A Better Choice Driving School

Fantastic experience: This is the second time our family has used A Better Choice Driving School. Ms. Bobbie was wonderful with our oldest son and was still wonderful with our middle son. She is very serious while still able to reach the teens during driving lessons through sharing stories about driving experiences. Both my sons came away with a healthy respect and understanding of the responsibility of driving a vehicle. I will be bringing my youngest to Ms. Bobbie in a few years!

Fantastic experience: I took my behind the wheel here and it was a very nice experience. Mrs. Bobby is so wonderful and her dog Benny is equally as amazing. Mrs. Bobby is very knowledgeable, and is very kind while being firm when she needs to. It was a super easy and helpful process and I definitely learned a lot. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: I have been with this school for over a week. It’s been a life changing experience. Better choice is a professional driving school with highly trained and patient instructors . I personally have been working with Mary she is calm and kind as I’m learning to drive at a later age. I highly highly recommend if you are in a similar position to me or also a younger driver.

Fantastic experience: My daughter was very hesitant to drive. She had her learners permit for 10 months and had only driven about 20 hours. She needed a patient and skilled instructor to build her confidence behind the wheel. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Mary at A Better Choice Driving School. Within 5 days my daughter is begging to drive and she is confident driving on the interstate or anywhere. This was exactly what we needed! Mary shared so many tips and skills that my daughter needed to progress toward getting her license. I would highly recommend Mary!!!

Fantastic experience: COVID delayed my now 17.5 year old home-schooled son from getting his license earlier. Bobbi was VERY accommodating in getting us scheduled for the driving portion (and submitting the required paperwork). Immediately upon meeting her I KNEW that she would be WONDERFUL—and she was. She caught the things he was slipping on (following too close, driving too close to the center line) and the week with Bobbi helped to ease my mind when he now drives alone. Her last day cautions about texting or talking on the phone was good for me too!! Bobbi was great! I know my son’s time with her will will help him to be a safe driver and not one of the many teen-accident statistics.

Fantastic experience: Both of my daughters did Behind the Wheel with Ms. Bobbie and I am glad they did! Ms. Bobbie was calm and caring and I felt better knowing she was the one with my girls while they were driving. She taught them what they needed to know, kept them safe, and showed personal interest in them. I highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful program! Our son had some issues with the interstate portion of the instruction/testing even though his overall was acceptable. Mrs Bobbi patiently worked with him and allowed us more practice for the trouble spots before testing. Her calm and caring disposition helped our son feel more comfortable and not judged. This momma felt a lot less stress knowing she was with him and helping him learn. Thank you Mrs Bobbi for being you! Highly recommended! (We will be back soon for our daughter!)

Negative experience: While the down payment rules were made clear at the time of enrollment, I still was quite disappointed that no exception will be made for a possible refund for a class that is two weeks out. We would have found a driving school much closer to our house which is more accommodating and would not make our son late to school each day for a week. I cannot comment on quality on the driving school yet.

Fantastic experience: Ms. Bobbie is wonderful. My son was so nervous because driving school is a big deal, and she was very knowledgeable and helpful, but also not intimidating at all. It was a great experience at a good price and I highly recommend her and this company.

Negative experience: My stepson took his behind the wheel here and it was okay. He got his license easily and that was good, but it was an awful 4 days for him. The instructor on the first day was very condescending to my stepson when he didn’t have the proper paper saying that he passed his drivers ed class. During the drives, she would make inconsistent corrections. For example, she would tell my son to do a smoother brake and lectured him about it, but for another kid who would brake at the last second she would not say anything. I would recommend this behind the wheel for anyone who wants a short session but would not recommend if you don’t want to deal with someone who makes inconsistent comments and belittles you.

Fantastic experience: Bobbie is excellent. She is patient and knowledgeable. My daughter loved her driving school. I can't say enough and I recommend A Better Choice to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I took my granddaughter, Grayson, here for driving. Ms. Bobbie went up and beyond the wisdom, safety procedures, and teaching responsibility that I would have expected. She not only taught safe driving habits but instilled the importance of being a respectful driver. Meghan was wonderful help in scheduling (and rescheduling) and managed to keep all the paperwork together before driving started. This school was an excellent choice.

Fantastic experience: We used A Better Choice driving school when my daughter needed to complete her behind the wheel. Bobbie Jo and her daughter were very flexible and kind to work with. Scheduling was very easy and the cost was also GREAT! Our daughter had a GREAT experience and we recommend this to anyone that has a teen needing driving school!!

She makes sure that your child is truly ready for this milestone in their life. She's great to work with and very respected in her line of work. Fantastic experience: Both my sister and I went through this company for our driving schools. The experience was amazing as I learned a lot and left the experience confident I was ready for the road alone! They were very flexible with location and hours as well to make it a 5 Star experience.

Fantastic experience: I had so much fun doing the courses that they have to offer, its a wonderful experience! My favorite part was driving behind the wheel, we had so much fun together, it does not feel like i am being graded on my driving: I was so relaxed! I would recommend going through this AWESOME program for your driving class!!
