Fantastic experience: Very grateful for John and Colin for everything that they taught me about Truck Driving! Was hesitant for a while to go to school to get my cdl, and I'm very happy I chose 160 driving academy in Munhall/ Mckees Rocks. If you want to get your cdl look no further.

Fantastic experience: I recently graduated from 160 Driving Academy and am extremely grateful for the exceptional support I received from Collin, John, and Leroy. Collin, as the yard manager, demonstrated outstanding organizational skills, meticulously tracking our driving hours and skill development. Despite facing moments of discouragement, Collin's unwavering encouragement and ability to push through insecurities were instrumental in my success. His constructive feedback, along with thorough explanations of safety measures, made him an outstanding instructor. I highly recommend him. John dedicated time refining my parallel parking skills on the yard, contributing significantly to my overall proficiency. Although my interactions with Leroy were limited, his calm, encouraging, and friendly demeanor during our trip left a positive impression. Thanks to their guidance, I successfully passed my CDL test on the first attempt, even in a manual truck, despite never having driven a 10-speed before. Grateful for the valuable experience with this dedicated team.

Fantastic experience: I appreciate john and Collin they are amazing instructors at 106 Academy. They are knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about teaching. They have a great way of explaining complex concepts in a simple and understandable manner. They create a positive and supportive learning environment, making the classes engaging and enjoyable. in the 3 weeks they helped Me learn a lot and made sure everyone was where they need to be with learning and being fully prepare for the final test !

Fantastic experience: With the help of instructors Collin and John I was able to past my CDL test on the first try! As long as you show up, take it serious and put in an effort.. you will be gold. It’s a fast pace class so use your time wisely. The instructors are very helpful and WANT to see people succeed.. I highly recommend this school to everyone!

Fantastic experience: Collin and John are two of the best teachers to get you ready and through your CDL test. Both are very knowledgeable and skilled at training you though the course and skills. Becky did a great job as well with all the in class work and testing procedures.

Fantastic experience: Very good place to get your CDL s/o John Collin & Leroy they do a good job helping you prepare for your test but if your not a hands on learner this isn’t the place for you bc everything is Str8 to the point But these dudes are the truck whisperers Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: 10 out of 10 highly recommend coming here. My experience from the start of coming to the yard to the end was the best part of coming to this school.. I appreciate everything Collin and John taught me. I felt very confident every week of class and the knowledge I gained was simple and straight forward. Any questions I had was answered. I took my test in confidence and I passed. My best advice to anyone coming here is to listen to them because they will not steer you wrong. Thanks again Collin and John!! I'm going to miss you guys!!

Fantastic experience: I appreciate Collin & John at 160 academy, for the amazing experience and professional atmosphere on the yard!! The best 3 weeks of school i had…I’m happy I graduated but sad I will not be in school any longer with them! But I will visit time to time too motivate the students that they can do this and tell them if they listen to Colin & John they will for sure get CDL! Thanks again Collin & John!!

Fantastic experience: Great school I recommend. Elliot,John,Collin will help you whenever you don’t understand something good teachers. Bill is also a great instructor! Scott taught me a lot and gave me knowledge how to do everything i needed to know for truck driving!

Fantastic experience: I had a great time and learned a lot. There was a verity of teaching methods and it was very hands on with plenty of drive time. Collin and Bill really helped me with skills and driving and real world advice for a new truck driver. Elliott, John and Scott taught me everything I needed for my CDL. Fantastic experience: I graduated from 160 Driving Academy in early September 2021. The instructors (Elliott and Bill) were extremely helpful and professional. Even before I graduated they were deeply invested in my career path and helped me search for an opportunity. If you follow their instructions you WILL get your Class A. 160 has alot of resources to help with your driving career. 100% recommended.
