Fantastic experience: I don’t think I would have passed on my first try without the incredible practice I got at this driving school. The instructors were so friendly but also corrected me on every mistake to ensure I was ready. Not to mention the amount of support I received when I had to reschedule my appointment 3 times. Each time Safe Way helped me navigate the Dmv system and found me the best place to pass. Truly grateful to them ❤️

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to come on here and express my gratitude with Safeway Driving School- for 3 kids Marylin has been nothing but amazing always available to answer all my question and helping with scheduling driving session and dmv appointments. James my kids love James today my third child passed her driving test after taking it for the third time and it was all her, her anxiety kicked in and wouldn’t pass and James was nothing but very very patient with her and never gave up on her. My girls today said we are going to miss James Thank you!!! James

Both instructors I felt confident to let my teens go alone with. Amazing feedback on each class/drive both teens passed in their first try with DMV. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: They did a great job teaching our daughter to drive. Marilyn in the office was very helpful and James teaching her out on the road. They even have a program where they took her out driving and then to the DMV. She passed the first time, no issues. In the beginning she was nervous about it but they taught her well. This was our second child to use Safeway Driving School, highly recommended. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I used Safeway driving school in Simi Valley for my teenaged son's driver training. From day 1 communication from staff was clear, professional, and prompt. My son had James as the driving instructor and he was excellent. My son felt very comfortable with him and was well prepared for the behind the wheel test. After each lesson James made sure to provide us with thorough feedback and areas to work on. James was very knowledgeable of the routes and details of the test, which helped my son pass first try with only minor points taken off. I just signed up my 2nd teenager for the program. I enjoyed my lessons with Diana and she wrote down what I needed to improve on, so that I could be a better driver. She was very helpful and encouraging for my driving test today, even though I was so nervous. Thank you Diana, and the Safeway staff for being so helpful with me!

Negative experience: The instructors are good & scheduling is easy. You must teach your kids to look over your right shoulder when entering a bike lane to make a right hand turn since the instructors won’t teach them that!!! My daughter just failed her behind the wheel test b/c neither instructor she had in last 2 weeks taught her that! And both of them took her on the test course! No mention on this critical error. I guess it’s Shame on us for relying on them to be thorough & we’re paying the price for it. Hope you don’t end up in that same boat.
