A-1 driving school

Fantastic experience: I had my driving test scheduled today, but I only found out last night that I needed to be accompanied by someone over 21 with at least three years of a New Jersey license. I was stressed and thinking I might have to cancel, when I luckily came across this company. I called in the morning, and Rama kindly answered and connected me with an instructor named Rouidh. She arrived at the Lodi MVC earlier than the scheduled time, waited for me, and explained everything clearly in a kind and professional way. Thanks to her help, I was able to pass my road test successfully. I don’t understand the negative reviews because my experience was quick, smooth, and very satisfying. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Nicolas is very unique instructor. Sharing personal experiences that align with the material from the book. Definitely recommend his sessions.

Negative experience: I wish I could share my experience with them in the car but the truth is you may not even get there. These people led us around on a string and made us cancel DMV appointments that we made weeks in advance just to ghost us. I would not advise working with these people. They are not professional and this is not how you run a business.

Negative experience: Be careful - we hired Rouida and she turned out to be incredibly unprofessional. She made unnecessarily personal critiques, shared super-personal life stories that were uncalled for, and used part of the allotted time for personal errands. I’m unsure about the other staff, but I won’t be doing business with this company anymore just to be safe.

Negative experience: The absolute worse, she scratched me while steering my wheel. She had me run errands for her when I was driving, she brought a friend of hers to my session and the entire time she was talking about her husband and her issues, and barely teaching me anything. She was shouting at me instead of teaching me a working technique. I had another driving school before and the instructor was super professional and polite unlike this school. Fantastic experience: very very good teacher

Negative experience: They aren’t a professional company. The communication is extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Wouldn’t recommend this place find somewhere better. They also charge to much for what they’re offering.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional! Not a pleasant experience at all. I only took for a lesson and road test as I was unable to give the road test in my car. I wanted to review parallel parking before it. First they refused to teach it. They said you do whatever you have learnt before and just kept criticizing me that even a baby knows how to do it! Then they finally showed me and I practiced after I told her in a firm voice that it is not working out and this is not the way to talk to me. I gave the road test. I was able pass it. Which was not due to their input at all! They made me pay 50 dollars extra after my road test. More than the discussed fee and then told me they will not drop me back to lodi where they had picked me up from! They even made me write a review on google in front of her before dropping me off which I obviously changed !

Fantastic experience: Rama is an amazing instructor. She taught how to park with only two lessons. She came on time for my driving test and let me use her car as well. I very much recommend this driving school!!!

Negative experience: hope u don’t get the owner ( of all people) as an instructor she is the worst. not sure about the others but that lady should not be teaching lessons. make sure you get what you pay for when the lesson is done.

Negative experience: Didn’t help me made me take someone to a road test and counted that time driving them to the test as part of the time I paid for..

Negative experience: Horrible horrible horrible! All about making money not about the consumer. Never again will I use this driving school.

Negative experience: Must be the most unprofessional driving school I ever encountered. I paid for 1 hr and a half and instead of providing my daughter with pointers, tips etc on what to expect during the road test they had my daughter drive another student to their road test (which they failed! I wonder why? Hmmm). This was part of the 1 hr and 1/2 which was pointless in my daughter’s learning. My daughter could not understand what the instructor was saying due to her heavy accent. When I called the next day to explain they just made excuses. They said they were sorry but the instructor must have been tired because she had 3 test prior and was fasting. While I understand that why was she giving lessons if she is exhausted? That’s not fair to me who is paying for the proper service. I asked her for a discounted rate due to the issues we encountered and she was not having it. Called me and my daughter liars even thought we had 2 witnesses in the car to account for that happened. SAVE YOUR TIME GO WITH ANOTHER SCHOOL THAT KNOWS HOW TO TEACH AND IS THERE TO HELP YOU NOT MAKE A QUICK BUCK.

Negative experience: The first time I called this place they seem nice and I want to help. I called them in July and I said I have my road test and September. This is no problem will start giving you a driver license. I faxed over the all the information they needed. Then I got a strange call so we can't help you now your dates too far away. I said why is that? They may some story up. I thought that was so horrible and so disappointed. I was excited to learn too drive. So I found the disc some company. And I told my story what they did to me. This is that was awful. But the good news I found a new Driving School. That will help me and it took me out and I'm learning to drive. So I would not recommend A-1 Driving School to any of my friends or to anybody else and it's in a person I spoke to was Rama. They were very professional. I was in new student I didn't know how to drive.

Fantastic experience: Amazing instructor

Fantastic experience: Best instructor I ever got to know, she was very patient and had a sense of humor! She helped me on such short notice for my road test, gave me a great price and I passed the road test with only like 3-4 hours of practice with ease. Bro when I tell you this, give her a chance and you will feel blessed that you did because she will help you get the practice you need with the essential tips for the road test, it will become a breeze.

Fantastic experience: Great driving school. They really helped me out with the parallel park that i couldnt do also they go with me to the driving test. I recommend you to try it.
