Rocky Mountain Driver's Ed: Reviews
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars, I would. This driving school is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They completely ignored my calls, never responded to emails, and let my voicemails rot in their inbox without so much as an acknowledgment. I needed my certificate or completion, and the useless lady at the front desk said it would be four whole days, leaving me in limbo. There was no urgency, no communication, and certainly no accountability. If you’re looking for a driving school that actually cares about its students and operates with even the bare minimum level of professionalism, this is NOT it. Save yourself the frustration—go literally anywhere else.
Negative experience: This has been the worst waist of money! I put my son here and I had to teach him how to drive! They did absolutely nothing and drove with him 1 a month! Don’t waist your money! Find a better school even if you have to drive to Albuquerque.
Negative experience: Just as mentioned in most of the all the reviews that are majority bad this school is taking peoples money and scamming them. They will not finish the drive time that we payed for and that will terminate the final step of receiving the drivers license. We and other parents are getting together to take action against the scam of a school and will be in touch with the "traffic safety Bureau and the New Mexico DOT . .
Negative experience: This place took our money and had not followed through with services we paid for regarding our sons driving school. They will not answer any calls or respond to any email regarding the required drive time after completion of driving school thus putting student Drivers license completion in jeoporedy. We have spoken to other parents who have not been able to get through either thus putting their children's completion of driver school in jeopardy as well.
Negative experience: Trying to get my son scheduled for drive time has been a joke! They don't answer even if you call between the office hours of 11a - 2pm, left several messages. I have even emailed them, absolutely nothing.
Positive experience: While there are a few downsides such as slight unprofessionalism and disorganization, this place will get you where you need to go. The staff is kind and always willing to help you ,the classes are easy and the workload is very light. Overall, Rocky Mountain Drivers Ed is alright and it will get the job done.
Fantastic experience: Nice people, affordable driving school and staff was knowledgeable about what steps needed to be taken to obtain a permit and or license.
Negative experience: they are using KAHOOT to go over homework it is not nfair to those who have mental disabilities and while on the subject they do not "work" with those who DO have one they make them work alone and while yes they do allow the students to work with groups and let them take breaks they do not work with them to help them pass 0/5 stars
Negative experience: This driving school is horrible. I have been trying to schedule my sons driving time and they do not respond. Do yourself a favor and don’t spend the money at this school. It’s a joke!
Negative experience: worst place ever !! They're completely unprofessional . My kids would have been better anywhere else but here . We still are trying to get hours done with driving . They never have drivers available for the kids . It takes FOREVER to get their hours done . They also have messed up on our appointment times . I DON'T RECOMEND this school !!!
Negative experience: This was a waist of money they are the rudest ladies they yelled at my son and it’s impossible to get drives done
Positive experience: Need to take a road test for MVD. First time there didn't get a appointment.
Negative experience: This school is a scam you pay up front and after the class room instruction it is impossible to schedule your 7 drives. they don't answer the phone nor call back. went into their office to get a copy of dui test for the dmv and they would not give it to me because I did not have my 7 drives. I had to pay an additional 25 dollars to take the dui class on my home computer through unm. finally received my license with no help from this scam of a school.DO NOT USE THIS SCHOOL
Positive experience: I got my driving done in about two months tops! Was told to go get my certificate two weeks ago and they didn't have it.... I've called and no answer! I would really like to be done with this so I can get my provisional license and be able to drive to school etc! It's getting hard finding rides all of the time.
Fantastic experience: This school got the job done it was very helpful
Negative experience: This place will take you 6 months just to get done with the 7 drives. They do not remind you if they will be unable to drive with you. They are the worst driving school. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE
Negative experience: My daughter has called and left messages over the last month with no response. Looking like another fly by night take your money and run school.
