Negative experience: A very profitable business built on failing you repeatedly. You spend good money to get poor service. A typical money grab.

Positive experience: I took four adult driving lessons and successfully passed both my knowledge and road tests on the first attempt. Overall, my experience with the school was positive. The staff provided excellent service — they answered all my questions promptly by phone and email, and the front desk team was always friendly and professional. My first lesson was with Eric Zhong. Unfortunately, it was a stressful experience. I didn’t feel comfortable during the session, as the instructor wasn’t very assertive in his communication and showed little empathy toward new drivers. I think he could improve the way he provides feedback and supports students during the learning process. My second and third lessons were with Catherin Karwal, who was an outstanding instructor — calm, patient, and always sharing valuable driving tips. She truly knows how to teach. My last lesson was with Rahsaan Shareef, and it was also a great experience. He was very calm, clear in his explanations, and made me feel confident behind the wheel. I really appreciated his supportive and positive attitude throughout the session and the road test. In summary, I had a good overall experience with the school. My only suggestion for improvement would be related to my first session with instructor Eric Zhong. Other than that, everything went smoothly and professionally.

Fantastic experience: My instructor was absolutely amazing! She helped me so much and was so calm whilst I was a nerve ball ! I forgot her name but I passed thanks to her thank you !!

Fantastic experience: I took my road test there since the Klahanie location was closed. I called and booked my appointment and Jared was my driving tester. He was great! Explained what my shortcomings were that helped me be a better driver.

Negative experience: I wish I had read Natalie review before. I had the exact same experience here. I signed up for warmup plus drive test where the instructor ( Eric zang) . The warm up was the most useless thing ever only to make me nervous and fearful. There was soooo much knit picking ( like your looked back but didn't look back ENOUGH, left turn too fast, right turn too slow, entered the turning lane late, didn't look around ENOUGH at stop signals and what not!) instructor was super rude and made me nervous..it almost felt they find reasons to fail you. (And they try so hard!) there was many other schools which take fair decisions and don't intimidate you like this one. Such a waste of money and time. Wish I had known before ..

Negative experience: Rude instructors and unfair judgements. Worst option for tests. Waste of money and time. Prefer defensive driving school over this any day

Fantastic experience: Awesome folks here who really do a nice job with the kids. Special shout out to Jared for his amazing customer care, going over and above the call of duty by taking the extra time to set up our teen with the requirements she needed to graduate from this course, all the while double checking with Swerve staff at another office to get the most up to date records to see if any requirements had already been met. Jared was a great blessing for us on a hectic day and more helpful than we could've hoped for. Thank you Jared and Swerve Team for all you do!

Negative experience: The testing officers are very cocky and they will try to fail you if you didn't take classes from them. Do not use their vehicles, just use your own that you use to practice. The communication is very bad - nobody ever pick up the phone. It's a SCAM to pay extra for the "warmup" - those cocky testing officers may make you nervous. It's a better choice to even just fail your first test and book another one than spend the extra money for the stupid "warm up". Do not fall for it!

Fantastic experience: Iam so happy to have my road test cleared after attending classes from instructor Walter. He was having patience and was good in clearing all our doubts during classes. Have recommended Walter to all my friends who has the aspirations to become good drivers in road.

Fantastic experience: I enrolled in Swerve Sammamish June of 2023 and had an amazing experience with Walter (Instructor). He has been incredibly helpful with his teaching and the useful tips he gave for the drive and knowledge test. I passed both the tests on my first try and it wouldn’t be possible without his help. I highly recommend going here for well paced and efficient learning.

Learning to drive, can sometimes be a nervous experience for teenagers, but Walter made it relatively painless. Highly recommend Walter and the Swerve team!

Fantastic experience: My son had a great experience at Swerve. He took the in-person class last spring on Tuesday and Thursday. It's not easy going to school and then sitting in a driving school class and it seemed the instructors kept the class engaged (as much as possible) My son had most of his driving time with Walter who is very personable and a great instructor. I would highly recommend Swerve in Sammamish!

Fantastic experience: I’m a SAHM and haven’t driven in my 39 yrs of my life. Never owned a car but kept learning driving in different countries and never mustered courage to get licence assuming I will certainly fail. This time my friend recommended getting Walter as my instructor and his tips were just perfect! He’s the person you need, experience, patience and understanding. For someone learning to drive really late in life it’s important they get their confidence and easy to remember steps to follow when doing basic maneuvers. Thank you From the bottom of my heart!

Fantastic experience: I spent a lot of lessons with Walter who gave me amazing inputs and built my confidence as a new driver. Walter is an outstanding instructor, very patient, very practical and very generous with his time and inputs. I became a better driver, because of the quality of his lessons. I took my knowledge test, driving lessons and driving test here. I had a wonderful experience throughout the process. I strongly recommend Swerve in Sammamish for all new adult drivers, who wish to prepare for their US Drivers license.

Negative experience: Took a number of days to get hold of someone to schedule a driving lesson after having paid it online. Couldn't get hold of someone on the phone after 30+ calls over a period of a week. One of the driving instructors gave me his number when I took my knowledge test in order to book a lesson with him but proceeded to ignore my texts when I tried to schedule a driving lesson. Emails take days to get a response (if you're lucky) and even going in-person to the local testing office didn't help because no-one was present and doors were locked. When I eventually got my driving lesson scheduled, the driving instructor never pitched up. Emailed the driving school for a refund and 5 days later I'm yet to receive a response. There is no way your mailbox is that busy that you cannot respond for days. Clear lack of professionalism.

After a bad experience with 911 driving school at Bellevue, this was a pleasant and a welcoming change.

Fantastic experience: A big THANK YOU to my instructor Buck, who believed in me. He is amazing, very patient, understanding, friendly, and definitely knows how to make the driving experience stress free. He explains everything so well that it's easy to understand. He managed to remember each of the skills we practiced in previous lessons and knew what was important to focus on. Overall I'm very grateful for a wonderful experience and would recommend to everyone learning how to drive. With Buck Sater as an instructor, you will surely succeed and be safe on the road . :)

Fantastic experience: Gave both Knowledge Test and Drive test here. Very good experience and smooth service. Catherine took my drive test and she was really nice and polite and that calmed my nerves down during drive test and i felt confident. I recommend going here for drive test as well as knowledge test. Their pricing were lower than other driving schools as well.

Fantastic experience: Buck is such a great teacher!! I'm an anxious student but he always assures me I'm doing great and always very encouraging!! He is very patient and one can see he has passion for his job and his students. Of the different driving schools I have had, he is the best teacher. Highly recommend! Only thing is scheduling drives initially was tough, but after that it was a breeze. I still would recommend Swerve Sammamish Buck as drive instructor!!

Fantastic experience: Our kids have used swerve and we love it. Buck has been great to us. We know things are hard for all during the pandemic. Swerve has handled it well.

Fantastic experience: This is a nice school

Negative experience: The worst customer service I have experienced anywhere! My son enrolled early 2020. They do not have enough staff or instructors for the number of students. We are still not done and approaching 9 months. I have emailed, left voicemails and even stopped by to schedule my sons test and final exam. No response. What makes it worse is that they are unapologetic. Go anywhere else!

Negative experience: I would advise against testing at this swerve location. The gentleman examiner does not take covid precautions, wears inadequate mouth covering, removing the covering in the car to speak. Aside from that he carries around a superiority complex, and talks down to others. Avoid this place, swerve has been awesome in the past years but not this location and not Buck Sader.
