Jump Start Drivers Education School

Fantastic experience: So much to say about Ms. D first of all she is hands down one of the best teachers, shes very patient, very understanding and very lenient. As long as you have a good work ethic you will pass this class with flying colors, you'll 100% make alot of new friends and learn about others, she even took me and a few other kids to texas roadhouse for the last day overall this class was amazing I highly recommend Ms. D.

Negative experience: On one of my first lessons I accidentally hit a turtle, she made me turn back around and look at the “carnage”. Consistently called my Asian classmate the wrong name because she “Looked so much like one of her previous students.”

Negative experience: This company is at the center of a situation where they are withholding the certificates of a ton of local kids who worked really hard. These kids spent their nights for 6 weeks going through the coursework and driving. Because of a dispute between this company and another one, JumpStart is preventing those kids from getting their licenses. I will be spreading the word far and wide about this company with the hopes that other children do not have to experience what is currently happening.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful woman, learning more than what I need too, she is very is accommodating with times. I highly recommend.

Negative experience: Don’t give this lady a cent she’s teaching your children bad driving habits. She’s teaching your children that it’s OK to drive around with their highbeams on. It’s already bad enough problem it’s not teach today’s youth bad habits.

Negative experience: Very difficult to communicate with. Does not answer phone or reply to messages. Does not answer questions in a timely manner or at all. Very unfortunate as their are such limited options in the area. Needs to hire staff to handle logistics

Fantastic experience: Older student who had serious anxiety about driving and getting licensed. Dee went above and beyond. We couldn't have done it without her help!

Negative experience: Bad never go here it was a he'll loop and the most stressed out I had ever been plus u learned nothing

Fantastic experience: I am so sorry to read all that negative reviews.Ms Dee was an excellent instructor for my daughter.She build more self confidence while she driving.She got 100 on her writing exam and 98 in her driving test.Also Ms Dee was throwing a lot of social activities for them.The classmates still have snapchats and still connect each other.I was Traffic instructor in Turkey.Could not dare to teach my own daughter but Ms Dee did a great job.Thank you Miss Dee hope to see you around

Fantastic experience: She is by far the best teacher I have had she is absolutely amazing and really helped me finish my class and get my green card before I left for vacation I love you Miss.Dee I will stop back now and then to say hi

Negative experience: DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. From the mixed messages on the website to the incorrect dates listed and lack of responses by phone or text...the entire "signing up" process was disorganized and unprofessional. Upon arrival, after being told my child's spot was confirmed, she had lost our paperwork. She also lost the paperwork of 5 other people in the same boat. An additional 10 or so people were there following the website guidelines to "bring the paperwork to the first parent night." Only the lucky ones had seen in a different spot that she wanted it mailed in. The solution to this was to have everyone stick around and wait "for just a bit" while she figured this out and proceeded with the group of people who's paperwork she did have. This took 2 hours. Which was the entire length of the class/parent night. After letting us back into the classroom she found a mysterious folder with all of our paperwork in it. My child was convinced this was intentional because there weren't enough seats in the room for all of us in the first round. I'm not so sure, but it certainly was odd. At that time she informed the group she only had 7 spots, the 6 who's paperwork she found, and then one additional. So after waiting 2 full hours, the rest of class had to leave and was promised priority in the next round (which I can't say I'd trust this point). As the folks were filing out a calendar was placed in front where it became clear that the dates listed on the website for this class were inaccurate and there were several additional classes spanning an additional 2 or 3 weeks. When expressing my frustration at this fact and inquiring if it were possible to miss the very last date, I was told it was not. There was mention of having a hard time in life this week with an ill family member and some pet loss. All of which is fair and we certainly have hard spots. However, it was quite clear that this lack of organization and inability to manage some pretty simple pieces (putting paperwork in specific folders, writing accurate dates on a website) was typical. Prior reviews have also attested to this. The complete lack of any actual accountability for anything was disappointing. Instead she repeatedly cited her long hours, planned retirement, and personal hardships as reasons for the many missing pieces and general mayhem. The fact is we all have hard things we are carrying and that doesn't mean we hold no responsibility for our weaknesses and screw ups. It showed a clear lack of decency and respect for others' time, efforts, and money spent. And I can only imagine how that plays out with scheduling driving hours and teaching.

Negative experience: It's been ~3 years since I was here and I am far too lazy to write an extensive review but the short of it is: the class will get you your license, but the instructor makes doing class work inconvenient. The biggest point being the final presentation, which the instructor forces you to use PowerPoint. You are not allowed to use google slides for some arbitrary reason that she never explained. I don't remember all that much of the actual driving, but I remember that she would call turns at the last possible second. In all its not terrible, but I would certainty look elsewhere if you have the option.

Negative experience: Terrible, said she was emailing and gonna call me never did

Negative experience: Registered to be on the list for this driving school but was never contacted. I called after January to be told to call in a week, I called everyday of that week, left a voice message, with no response back. Its now the end of the month,still no response.

Fantastic experience: Dee is by far the greatest drivers ed teacher I've ever had! Jokes aside, JumpStart was a great place to learn to drive.
