Belmont Driving School: Reviews
Fantastic experience: (7 yrs ago) I’ve tried 3 different schools in Springfield and Westfield. This one had the best instructor for someone who knew almost nothing about driving. They are great with adult learners too. (Now) Sending my brother and niece there. Hopefully they have a good experience as well! I’ll come back and review
Fantastic experience: Very personable and reliable, courteous service. The owners look out in the best interest of the students. I highly recommend Belmont driving school competitive pricing. Please give them a try. You won’t regret it, Ludlow’s finest and professional driving school.
Fantastic experience: This place is great and anyone in these reviews that say otherwise are just upset that they didn’t pay attention and failed their test. The week long school was informative and the driving instructors are very knowledgeable and can teach you everything you’re gonna need to know. The woman who owns the place was always nice when I called and helped me set up times and dates for lessons that work with my schedule, I couldn’t recommend Belmont enough.
Fantastic experience: Took this class two years ago, super knowledgeable teachers and my driving instructor was an Former state trooper. Super great team over there definitely recommend
Negative experience: Horrible service the women is rude. They no show you on driving classes. Give your student a list that has been copied a 1000 times over that’s ineligible. The worst and I mean worst customer experience ever hands down.
Negative experience: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DRIVING SCHOOL My son went to Belmont Driving School to take his driving test today. Unfortunately he didn't pass, which is fine. He failed because of something he didn't know. Again, fine. HOWEVER, when the driving school rep says out loud it's the parents' fault when kids fail, that just did it. I didn't pay them $800 so I could teach him. Heck it's been 40 years since I took my test. I really miss the old driving schools... you know, the ones, where the people weren't rude all the time, and they actually taught the kids what they need to know to pass their driving test.
Negative experience: The worst school ever !!! Impossible to get a hold of anyone!!! They readily take your money and don’t provide appropriate driving schedule, my child get’s driving lessons once in 3 weeks!!!
Negative experience: Long story short don't use them. They never answer the phone, when they do the lady there is rude. I tried to get my parents certificate so I could schedule my daughter's on roads at another driving school and they wanted to charge me $25 for a certificate I already paid for when my other daughter took the course 2 years ago. I then called back and they changed the price to $30. I can Go on but there are other driving schools in town that I would recommend.
Negative experience: Despicable people. When I first moved here, someone recommended them to me for driving lessons. So I stopped by. The female owner was rude from the outset because it was for me, an adult. I asked why she discriminated and her exact response was "It's MY business and I can do whatever I want." Flash forward to a couple of months ago when I need to park there because I went to a neighboring business...The male owner/instructor was trying to intimidate me for PARKING IN A PUBLIC SPOT. You don't own the street! I had every right to park there but, because he wanted that space to test students on driving in reverse, he tried to intimidate me into not parking there. Hey, have you ever considered BASIC MANNERS???
Negative experience: You will get 1 star. That's it. The driving lessons we're fine, but the road test? No. Everyone else in line with me passed, except me. They told me they would call me back in 2 weeks, 4 weeks ago, for another road test. I've left them multiple voice mail messages and called them multiple times. I've even went to the place, no one is ever there. Worst driving school I've seen. Don't go here!
Negative experience: Horrible. Before I could even get started she was already denying me service over the phone. She was all over the place. I asked for information for my 17 year old son and she ask me for my information then denied me service when I told it’s for my son. This place has bad reviews already and I am glad I didn’t have to go in and waste my money and time. Thanks to the community for being honest and telling the reviewers what their really in for.
Negative experience: Don't send your child here, totally unprofessional
Fantastic experience: Very informative testing, brief if you have your notes!
Negative experience: Awful, just a terrible school over all, between taking written tests together and only actually answering one question and given all the correct answers by the end to not actually teaching anything about driving hate this place, always flip off the cars when I see them around town
Negative experience: Horrible Business! This place needs to be investigated by the BBB. Not professional at all. Building falling apart. Outdated smelly classroom, failed to return any of my calls regarding my daughters on road after numerous messages left on a generic non-business answering machine. 1 scheduled on road a month after paying $600?!?! Shame on Pathfinder High School for supporting this horrible company! Parents are being deceived and there are tons of "hidden fees." I will not be sending my other daughter there. I don't recommend anyone else do either. I have heard from my daughters friend that United Driving School in Ludlow is better...
Negative experience: Worst driving school ever. Send your child somewhere else, ANYWHERE else! I 100% believe these people set your child up for failure so they can make money on having them test over and over and over again. What a rip-off. And so many hidden fees. This place even smells bad, the school area is disgusting and there are dead rats outside. Don't go here even if they pay you!
Negative experience: This Is The Utter Most Shitty School; They don't refund do not "try" it
Negative experience: They can't schedule and left my daughter waiting for dates. We are paid in full, completed the class time and can not get on roads scheduled or calls returned.
Negative experience: Absolute aweful! My son told me it was dreadful each Saturday while I was driving him there. I thought it was just a teenager attitude until I attended the 2 hour parent class. I learned within the first 5 minutes of the female instructor speaking ( she instructs the classes) that he was correct! A lot of verbal scolding: don't do this or your child will fail, you can't do that, placing blame on parents driving when she has no idea how any of us drive, etc.. They show a lot of videos between her scolding. No handouts in writing pertaining to the absolute "do nots or you'll fail your test!" This instructor was not open minded when I questioned if she provided visual hand outs for the do nots. She was irritated and insinuated that my honor roll student had a learning disability- in front of all parents attending. This was an absolutely ridiculous situation as she could not comprehend that not all people learn from hours of verbal scolding or gory videos. My son will complete a more knowledgeable, teacher friendly program. I love him too much to place him behind the wheel without a proper drivers education program.
Negative experience: Unbelievably unprofessional, drivers constantly show up to pick up kids at school 30-40 minutes late. Cold weather you child is stuck stsnding outside waiting for this irresponsible driver. i was lucky enough to wait with my child today and im furious at how they treat there clients. There is never anyone at the business to answer the phones. I amazed they are actually able to stay in business. i will never send anyone to these people.
