The Driving Experience, Driving Simulator

Fantastic experience: My son is currently taking his driving lessons at The Driving Experience Simulator, and I couldn’t be more impressed — especially with his instructor, Lina. He started with no driving experience at all, but Lina’s calm, patient, and passionate approach has made a huge difference. She doesn’t just teach the basics — she focuses on how to be a defensive driver, not just another person behind the wheel. She makes sure he understands the rules, the importance of road manners, and how to stay out of trouble on the road. Her emphasis on safe, responsible driving rather than aggressive habits is exactly the kind of education new drivers need. Lina truly cares about her students, and it shows. We’re grateful to have her guiding our son, and I highly recommend her to anyone who wants a smart, thoughtful start to their driving journey. She deserves all the recognition!

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with Lina!!! She was kind and patient throughout the whole process. It was immensely helpful to have an experienced and supportive teacher to guide me through the program. In total, I think there were 18 lessons, each going over an important aspect of driving as well as a free drive option for different road conditions. I feel really well equipped to start hitting the road now, thanks to my new knowledge. Thanks again!! you’re a gem!!!

Fantastic experience: My son worked with Lina at the driving experience for six months. This was invaluable in helping him obtain those softer skills that are required in driving. My son has some special needs and Lina intuitively knows how to get right at those executive functioning areas that made driving most challenging for him. She is very flexible and is right there in the trenches with the student, guiding them as they go through the virtual driving. She is somehow able to sense the weak areas and give tips for us to work on in between lessons. Her advanced education is in psychology, so I guess this all makes sense. We have the utmost respect for her and this very valuable part of driver education.

Fantastic experience: Lina is an outstanding driving instructor, and practicing in a simulator gives anxious students the opportunity to practice in a safe environment. I can’t thank Lina enough for helping my daughter learn to drive. By giving my daughter a safe space to practice and build her confidence, she is now driving!!!

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Lina and The Driving Experience more highly. My daughter had been driving with her permit for over 6 months but was still struggling with having to do "everything all at once" -- safely operating a 3000lb machine, while scanning intersections, looking for hazards, gauging stopping distances, safe lane changes, making unprotected lefts, etc. The simulator program allowed her to break it down and practice each skill set separately, without any fear. By the time she was finished, she was much more confident and her skill set had improved dramatically. This program was a godsend for us!

Fantastic experience: Automotive Simulation is an amazing tool, so useful racecar drivers practice on the simulator for tracks they have never been to and under some circumstances due to weather they end up starting the race with zero actual practice or qualifying, taking the green flag going 160+mph in to turn 1 and the way the car is set up for the race by the engineers and crew chief is all done on the simulator making the correct adjustments for long/short run performance, front and back balance over a fuel run, keeping the car balance and drivability out front in clean air and traffic. This should be taken advantage of much more than it is for new drivers, honestly they need to make it mandatory for Electric Bikes before it gets more out of control than it is. Some of these kids are not even teenagers and ride E-bikes with same or more power than a gas motorcycle with the right app or disconnection of 1 wire, addition of a little control box that's a few bux on Amazon removes the speed limiter and can make double or more available power without changing any actual hardware. Just software changes some as easy as a free app to connect via Bluetooth and make the changes to the factory settings. This should be a tool used much more to avoid tragic situations, kids have no idea what can happen at speeds they are dealing with, on top of that they almost always have a friend riding on the back that is a very dangerous battery pack not a seat. Just a week ago a vehicle made a U turn and was hit broadside by an E-bike with 2 kids on it going up hill at 60mph . This could be part of the road to a solution, kids can see how quickly you are in a bad situation that's hard to avoid from the perspective of a person driving a car trying to avoid an E-bike flying out of nowhere and understand how hard the car drivers perspective is already dealing with a lot and bikes coming out of nowhere at 15-25mph is hard to avoid and near impossible at 50-60mph even if stopping the vehicle changing direction at higher speed on a bike is harder and with 2 people double that mass it's similar to impaired simulation driving the reaction times and effort is much more demanding. After kids see how hard it is for cars to avoid them flying around a corner, flying from the sidewalk to the bike lane or in the actual car lanes (I've seen kids go off the sidewalk to the left hand turn lane in front of traffic no helmets then waiting in the turn lane like a motorcycle. It's getting worse everyday, a similar simulation as a E-bike rider to learn the rules of riding a bike safely, first we need some E-bike traffic laws and performance limiter certified and tamper proof for under aged unlicensed riders, requiring a training certificate from a place like this to understand the situation from both perspectives or else the first lesson they learn is most likely to come at a high cost with life altering injury if they're lucky. Also online or in person parent awareness classes and literature about what they're buying for their kids the reality of the technology only to purchase bikes with parental control app available or add already available live GPS units to monitor speed and location track. I don't know what it will take before we all wake up, I hope something like this can be fun and save lives even before they are able to drive a street vehicle at 16, they will return at 15 once again to prepare for the DMV Drivers test and being more prepared than others. I love the life saving potential using technology to save ourselves from technology. Just like anything else, Ai, it's how it's used and implemented in to society determines if it helps or hurts us all. Please speak up about this issue we have solutions that can be ready almost immediately. Thank you!!!!

Fantastic experience: The driving experience was truly a confidence builder for my daughter, new to driving. Lina was so patient and encouraging as a guide for how to maximize the simulator experience. In the days that have followed since my daughter completed her lessons, it’s amazing how many simulated experiences have appeared in her everyday real-life experience on the road. She actively and excitedly acknowledges when she encounters something that she’s been simulator prepped for. I’d highly recommend this for any new driver and I must say that watching my daughter go through the lessons was a good refresher for me (an experienced driver)! I don’t think most new drivers receive a lot of the basics of good and safe driving techniques and this simulator is a very realistic opportunity to practice safe driving in a safe and non threatening way. It makes new drivers more confident to try in the real world. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The Driving Experience Driving Simulator was everything I hoped it would be. I was looking for something safe to get my daughter from "no driving experience" to "a little bit of decent experience. " She started on the simulator on a Friday, and by Sunday morning I felt comfortable with her driving us home in a real car from a local high school. The simulator is a car driving in a virtual city in different driving conditions like rain, night driving, fog, off road, and it deals various driving "what if" scenario's. She even got to practice driving on freeways! I went to work on Monday and I feel my driving improved and I've driven from Los Angeles, California to Toronto, Canada and back. After a weekend at The Driving Simulator, the following Monday I signed my daughter up for a real Behind The Wheel Training lesson. The virtual driving scenario calmed my fears about the safety of my daughter getting behind the wheel of a car. Thank you so much Lena for giving my daughter virtual driving lessons. Fantastic experience: Driving Simulation should become mandatory as part of every driver's learning process. The Driving Experience is a fantastic opportunity and gives new drivers the knowledge they need to prepare for the busy road, safely and ready to make the most of their behind the wheel driving lessons. The owner is an inspiration. Her concern for the wellbeing of her students is truly a gift. To write I highly recommend her program, is not enough praise. Under Lina's care, your new driver will become aware, defensive and prepared.

Fantastic experience: The Driving Experience provides a venue for would-be drivers to learn, build-on, and/or sharpen driving skills in a safe environment. My daughter spent 7 hours in a simulated environment and I can say that she learned a lot with her time in the simulator (and Lina’s guidance) without the added stress and pressure of being on the road with other cars and pedestrians. Lina is very patient and encouraging. She’s also very generous with her time and expertise. I highly recommend The Driving Experience.

Fantastic experience: My experience as a student of this program was nothing short of exceptional. The program itself was a very useful tool in getting me used to maneuvering a car and seeing how to drive in a realistic situation. The teacher gave amazing feedback that furthered my skills and was extremely kind and motivating. I can definitely see myself suggesting this to anyone who feels they need it.

Fantastic experience: The Driving Experience is a great way to get the rules of the road under your belt before actually driving. It definitely puts a parent’s mind at ease knowing that your child can experience a simulated road/driving situation before actually getting behind the wheel. Fantastic experience: So glad I found this program! It has allowed my daughter to slowly get familiar with driving and driving situations. Fantastic experience: If you are looking for a way to help supplement your driver's behind the wheel training, this will definitely help. The simulator has allowed my daughter to become more aware of her surroundings and to anticipate possible scenarios when out driving in the real world. It also provides a safe environment to understand better these situations and has built her confidence while preparing to take her driver's test. Fantastic experience: My 22 year old son attended for her intensive training and truly benefited from the experience. Lina is wonderful and patient and really understood where he needed help multitasking and focusing while driving. Fantastic experience: Wow! What a great experience for new drivers! I took my 2 daughters to The Driving Experience so they could get driving practice in a more controlled setting. As I sat and watched, there were scenarios that wouldn’t necessarily be experienced during the permit period. The equipment was state of the art. They both feel that they learned a great deal. My younger daughter isn’t quite ready for her permit so she didn’t have any driving experience. It was amazing to see her growth over the month. Lina is a wonderful person! Such a great teacher with a calm demeanor and was flexible. Highly recommend it to all beginning drivers.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Lina by my psychologist who also works in the same building. Lina is an amazing and extremely friendly teacher that offers lots of emotional support and driving tips. Understanding that most of the students here have had some kind of trauma related to driving or have general learning obstacles, Lina pays lots of attention to the student’s response to the driving course and their internal conflict. It is great for students to see that they are not alone with the AI teacher in the screen, but also a much more real teacher physically next to them, as learning to drive is a practice which requires both the body and the mind. Lina is also flexible with scheduling. About the course itself: the course is pretty realistic, with a few glitches once in a while (which can range from funny to kinda scary — eg. seeing a pedestrian get hit). But I still like the course a lot, because it is very detailed, and gives me lots of important tips about how to expect hazard, spot it out, and avoid it (or at least pick the safest way to confront it). It is pretty interactive, and fun. I think the virtual class is in a way more difficult than real driving conditions, since it brings all the possible hazards in front of us. However, I would recommend not to think of the class as a game, because even if there is only a small chance that it happens in real life (for example, you might think “I’ll never need to drive in snow/rain/etc.”), it still might happen. And often times it is more likely to happen than we tend to think. Anyways, I really enjoyed my experience with Lina and with the course, and combining with my psychology sessions, I’m getting over my past trauma and getting more and more ready to confidently and safely drive in real life

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend this program to a parent who has a teen that is struggling with anxiety while driving. Lina focused on education, mindfulness, and confidence with my son. Thank you Lina, you are client-service at its best and a role model.

Fantastic experience: Great introduction to driving. I was pecially liked the reinforcement of key concepts such as “scanning” and being prepared for “what if” situations. For someone with very little experience, this was a safe way to gain some. Thank you Lina!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this for all teens (and adults) just learning how to drive. This program immensely helped my child gain a better understanding of traffic rules, road signs, and signals that no written test or book knowledge could ever properly prepare you for. It takes you through various road conditions and unexpected real road scenarios and I feel far more confident knowing that my son understands these things now because of this program. I can’t recommend this enough! Every teen learning to drive should go through this program.

Fantastic experience: Lina allowed the family of a child with ADHD and learning disabilities to breathe more smoothly as our child navigated simulated driving conditions. The equipment is state of the art, and realistically tested driving skill and focus while distracted in urban and rural settings. We chose to require our child to pass each module at 100%. This probably increased the number of times we came in, because our child would get frustrated and be scored lower. Lina was incredibly gracious in allowing us to do more sessions to ensure our child learned to temper her frustration and to focus. Lina kept our child (and us) encouraged and hopeful. We cannot say enough good things about this program and Lina!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend for teens. Great extra experience for teens drivers. Gave my daughter that extra confidence she needed. This is the perfect place for them to practice without actually being out in the real world. Great place to make and learn from their mistakes! Lina was great and very patient with my daughter.

Fantastic experience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️was looking for a driving course/class for my teen that would help with quick thinking situations while driving. Well I found it. I don’t know why they don’t have this in every high school. When you go and see for yourself, you to will be sold. You and your child will have more confidence and security. My daughter was able to experience situations that would not be available to her on the road. Great location. Nice office, accommodating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
