Top Driver Driving School

Fantastic experience: Loved this program. Was very informational and the teachers were amazing! I loved Ricky for my BTW lessons he was very talkative and understanding. He knew what he was doing and did it very well. Also shout out to Frank! He was awesome too.

Negative experience: Absolutely horrible. Quick to sign you up, no information after. Customer service isn't very helpful, and you'll NEVER find someone in a physical location outside of class time. It just smells like a scam. My daughter ran through the classes with no problem. When it came time to sign up for in-car driving, the issues started. The schedule for appointments is posted once per month and everyone scrambles to get slots. You are not allowed to sign up months in advance, even though all the slots are filled for the next several weeks. In 4 weeks, another schedule will be posted and parents and students scramble for the few slots left like raw meat thrown in a tiger cage. If you cannot sign up, they will allow you to extend your deadline...for more cash. As I said, it's either a scam or horrifyingly mismanaged. I would recommend ANYTHING other than this.

Fantastic experience: It was a very efficient course, I learned a lot from all the lessons and in-vehicle drives. I throughly believe I wouldn't be as good a driver if I had not had taken driving lessons with top driver. Mr. Schindler is an incredibly nice and enthusiastic teacher whom cares for what he does and who he teaches. 10/10 would reccomend to all who need to learn to drive.

Fantastic experience: Took the course/btw/and dmv road test. All instructors were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I had a problem with scheduling and contacted customer service. They responded quickly and took care of the problem.

Fantastic experience: I have had 4 of my children attend Top Driver in between Bourbonnais and Manteno, Il since 2017. I cannot say enough about the excellent experience each of my children has had with the Top Driver. We especially love Stefanie French!! Stefanie has gone above and beyond for her driving students and we appreciate her so much!

Fantastic experience: After only 1 lesson with Adam I saw a huge difference in my son's driving abilities. Before the lesson I was afraid to get in the car with him. Afterwards, I had him drive us everywhere. I absolutely recommend top driver Manteno.

Negative experience: A complete scam! We signed up for class and had to cancel due to a move and they KEEP $200. Refuse to give it back on my refund. Absolutely ridiculous.

Negative experience: Horrible business. The office is not real there is never anyone there to answer questions. When u call the number you talk to people that are in Wisconsin that can't and won't help you. I tried asking a simple question what do I need to bring with to get the permit and couldn't get an answer. Called 12/27 to get an appointment for the behind the wheel part and was told they were booked till March and I couldn't make an appointment. So I had to pay a $150 fee to extend my contract. I'm sorry I would have made the appointments sooner but my children have all had covid I have 4 so that was quarantined for months then even had to quarantine for close contact at school. It's been a long crazy year here so I didn't schedule driving while the kids where sick guess I should have and save 150. Now a manager is supposed to be calling me and the lady I talked to in Wisconsin said that could take a week or two. Stay away there's gotta be better driving schools.

Fantastic experience: Stewart was a wonderful instructor for my son. He is patience and builds a relationship with drivers and that allows the driver to be more relaxed when driving. When he gives feedback, he provides it in away that driver understands and how to improve. Top Driver in Manteno was a good fit for my son and a good experience.

Fantastic experience: Stewart was a great instructor for me. Made it very clear and was nice to have in passenger seat directing me through learning how to drive. Very funny I recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Top Driver totally exceeded our expectations. From day one they laid out there class rules and told the parents and students what was expected. Very friendly instructors in both the classroom and driving. Very organized with there scheduling and very punctual all around. I would highly recommend Top Driver. I think my son learned more at top driver than he would have if he took drivers ed at his high school. My daughter will definitely be going there for her drivers ed classes.

Negative experience: Im really upset with them..i enrolled my name in august . They gave me 3 lessons in September and now i am waiting for my 4th lesson since September and they are not giving time . Its november..i mean i paid all money and they not taking care of clients. When i call them they just tell me to wait. I would not recommend them to any one.

Fantastic experience: I only drove 6 hours with them but when I did they were very helpful and gave me tips for when I drive.
