Negative experience: Thank god this school is closed. I had my road test scheduled with them and the day before the test I found out that the school had closed down. Crazy thing is the school didn’t even have the decency to let anyone know that they were shut down it wasn’t until I tried to call them and visit their website the day Before that I found out they were closed. I had to find out from a friend. Ridiculous

Negative experience: I’m so done with reaching out to this school about my child’s driving classes there so unprofessional I’ve emailed this Molly lady that states she’s the instructor and manager and when I email her and have workers reaching out to her she doesn’t reply also my child’s been waiting to start her driving course asap how is it that we paid everything in full and have a delay on the teaching part that’s so not cool or right for the kids that are trying to manifest into young adults and some kids need this to get to jobs and everyday living like come on now when is going to end the lack of responsibility is just unprofessional on there end

Negative experience: This folks are not friendly, I called one (07/27/20) Monday, someone named Dave asked me to call back Thursday, Called back Thursday, another one picked up and says Dave is driving and I have no vacancy, fine - give me some option, instead he hangs up on me. I call back, it goes to voice mail. Just wasted 4 days waiting for their service, don't even get the courtesy of finishing a conversation.

Fantastic experience: My teenage daughter used Lowell Auto for her driving lessons They were very Professional & informative, It was easy to set up driving lessons. Joe the instructor is very relaxed making it easy to learn which makes it possible to ace the driving test on the first go !! Definitely recommend Lowell Auto.

Fantastic experience: I had lots of fun driving with Joe!! I took the one week course in the summer and it flew by! We received pizza at the end and I got to meet new friends from Lowell High. Joe is great instructor who keep learning fun while preparing me for my exam. I was really nervous on the day of my exam, but Joe helped me calm my nerves and I passed!! I can't wait to buy a car!

Negative experience: Completely unprofessional. They do not know how to teach someone with autism and they have no business telling Mass Rehabilitation Commission they can especially when MRC is paying for the lessons.

Fantastic experience: Lowell Auto School is a gem. Debby is very nice and her sense of humor is hilarious. She is engaging when going over the notes that we are supposed to take, and her relatable stories help the students understand driving better each class. Many of the reviews on here say that she is mean. These reviews are false, and were probably perpetrated by people that she either got impatient with (for good reason) or they failed the course. For my driving lessons, I had Joe, a soft spoken man. He would never get mad and was very patient, even when I would make rookie mistakes. He was able to drill parallel parking and 3 point turns into my head like a pro. When driving, if I was having trouble on a certain aspect, he would drill that certain situation until I had it down almost perfectly. On the 2nd lesson, I failed to stop for 1 or 2 pedestrians crossing the streets, and for lessons 3 and 4, he took me to down town Lowell, where many people were crossing the streets, so that I would be more aware of the pedestrians near me. He also drilled UCLA into my head, which is an acronym to remember which way to turn the wheel when parking uphill next to a curb. Up Curb Left Always. My experience with Lowell Auto School was nothing but pleasant, and I recommend that anyone considering taking driving lessons in Lowell, Dracut, or Chelmsford does so though Lowell Auto School! - Sam Bahou

Fantastic experience: Great experience! Super fun instructor and class teacher Debbie. Funny stories, super helpful tips, and open to questions and comments anytime. I would never go anywhere else.

Negative experience: I've had a few lessons with Debbie. Every time I would almost leave crying. She made you feel like complete crap. She's not patient. Always rude. Made me even more nervous to drive. there was more criticizing then there was teaching. I don't even want to drive because all she did was lower my self esteem. Definitely look into another school. I would not recommend this one at all. She might be nice and put on a good face for parents but your kid will come out scarred.

Fantastic experience: Debbie is a great teacher and gave us amazing tips and advices to improve our driving skill's. I went there without knowing anything and later every time I got in a car I would tell the driver what he/she should do next. The classes were extremely helpful, funny and definitely worth the money.

Fantastic experience: This school was really helpful. Debby is one of the best teachers I've had period. I leaned so much during that one week that I couldn't even believe it. I started the week not knowing anything but at the end of the week I was really informed. I highly recommend this school for your kids. ( ps the price is very reasonable too).

Positive experience: Mediocre service. They NEVER pick up the phone. They only pickup around 3-4 on weekdays. As for the drivers ed program, the class was bearbale, almost fun. Make sure you call to schedule your road lessons as soon as the class is done. I had Joe as a driver, and he was very nice and accomodated to my work schedule. I did not do my road teat thru the auto school becuase it is no worth the $100

Negative experience: This is the worst school. I did my drivers ed here and it was ok. Debby was somewhat rude but I was able to handle it because i was extremely quiet in class. However, I only did one road lesson because my experience with my instructor was so horrible that I am now a very nervous driver! I was extremely uncomfortable, scared and nervous with the guy who was instructing me. He would constantly scream at me and tell me I'm doing things wrong and also call me names and tell me that I am stupid. He never told me what I was doing wrong or how to fix it like an instructor should do, he just told me that I can't do anything right. He also smelled like cigarettes. This company is extremely unprofessional and unethical. Put your money into a better auto school. Any other one but this one!!!

Negative experience: This place is unprofessional and rude. I refuse for my son to attend this auto school. I do not recommend anyone attending here.

Negative experience: I was a student driver with this company. I was done with this place after my second lesson. The instructor was VERY passive aggressive, RUDE and unprofessional. I felt very uncomfortable driving with her due to her attitude. Also, I had made an appointment once, for a certain time. I was outside waiting in the winter cold for my instructor to show up (because she had complained I needed to wait outside for her) She never did. I later found a voice message in my phone from the instructor (at the time she was supposed to meet me) that I had to reschedule. (again) I didn't get any earlier notice, not even the decency of a phone call. I waited outside for nothing. Don't waste you money because with the attitude I was given I became more uncomfortable driving.

Negative experience: The staff that work at Lowell Auto School are very rude and unprofessional. They often will criticize the students and yell you're doing it wrong. But, they don't give the proper instructions on how to improve. When you're an paying customer you expect respect, something they apparently know little about.
