From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Melissa and Diane, the instructors, were absolutely phenomenal. Melissa's teaching style is incredibly engaging and thorough. She has a unique ability to break down complex driving concepts into easily understandable lessons, making me felt comfortable and confident. Her patience and attention to detail were truly commendable. Diane, on the other hand, brought a wealth of experience and a calm, reassuring presence to the classroom. Fantastic experience: As an adult learning to drive later in life I was extra nervous and had failed tests in the past. Marc Stephens put me an ease, was a great teacher and gave me the confidence to finally pass my test!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Alliance. We had Marc Stephens for our last two behind the wheel lessons and he was extremely helpful, professional and definitely got our son ready for his behind the wheel exam, which he passed successfully. We have now used Alliance on all three of our kids and have recommended them to several friends. The website is easy to use as far as scheduling/managing lessons. Our instructor, Marc, provided the right balance of DMV driving test training/tips with real-life driving situations/conditions. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: I got my license last March and this was the school I did my three driving lessons through. The impact that Mr. Bill had on me as a driver is huge. Mr Bill was such a magnificent driving teacher. He was so friendly and can easily hold a conversation with. He also has the craziest parking tips. He’s the parking wizard. I was so greatful to stumble upon his and have him as my driving course instructor.

Negative experience: The only thing Alliance is defensive of is their profit. I paid for lessons during 2020 and they cancelled my scheduled lessons and told me due to availablity of drivers during COVID and they could not have a driver come to my area. I was looking to get started with driving again and could not book an appointment online. When I called the man who answered the phone was incredibly rude and told me I was a liar. He said it was my fault that I had not tried to reschedule earlier even though it was because you told me not to! He says he doesn't "make the law but he is one who enforces the law" I didn't realize the driving school was a law enforcement agency. I tried to find a company who has compassionate teachers for people who are not comfortable driving and this is how you treat people?! Don't spend your money with these people if you want to be treated like a human being.

Fantastic experience: First of all, I have another teacher from a different company and I just didn’t like it, so when I booked my hours to get lesson here. I was able to drive, it felt impossible but I did it. I failed my first time but my second I passed and I was grateful to get tips and information from the Instructor, if anyone is wondering Mark is the best guy for it. He was patient with me and trusted me in driving and made drive a lot better than before. I Highly highly recommend this place and the people and staff are nice as well

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend this place. We had Bill as our instructor and he was very professional and helped us out a lot. My son passed his written and driving test without any problems 1st time out. Will be using them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I started my driving journey last year with Alliance. I am an immigrant and it has been very challenging for me but they made it so comfortable for me. They helped me schedule my tests and lessons. I failed my first test and I was losing my confidence but they did not give up on me. Today, I had my test and I passed. Thanks to the team and Dianne for supporting me and helping me get my driver’s license.

Negative experience: Make sure you don't need to cancel or change an appointment, because they charge $40 if your have to change within 48 hours of your appointment. Daughter got Covid and had to cancel appointment, but since its the day before, they charge $40. I'm sure someone will gladly take the spot but they still charged you for it.

Fantastic experience: My teen son took five lessons with Alliance and just passed his drivers license test with no problems. I will have my other two children take their lessons with Alliance when they are old enough. I am confident in my son's driving skills and feel at ease knowing he learned some great defensive driving with the awesome instructors. Thanks Alliance!

Positive experience: I came to Alliance because they had an open appointment due to a cancellation. I had my lesson with Maria, and as it was my first time driving on the roads my skills needed a lot of work. Though Maria taught me some basic skills which allowed me to continue practicing on my own, she seemed more anxious than me during the drive which made it a less than pleasant experience. I tried booking another appointment with Alliance but they were booked out for a month.

Fantastic experience: Bill was very calm and easy to talk to. Overall it was a good driving experience.

Fantastic experience: I was a very nervous driver at the beginning, but through my lessons with Diane I was able to gain confidence in my ability to drive. I would recommend this school to anyone who needs a push forward, thank you so much Diane! :)

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend this driving school and the 20 hours of instruction to help your child build confidence and good driving skills to take them through life. Bill is an amazing instructor and such a calming presence for new drivers. Jason is great too! Great customer service, many time slots for diving instruction, worth every penny! My son just passed his behind the wheel the first time and only missed 2 points.

Fantastic experience: This school is a great place

Fantastic experience: I was so nervous about driving before I had my lessons, but once I did my instructor made me feel so comfortable and relaxed in the car because thats exactly how she felt no matter the mistakes I made that she helped fix. Both of my brothers and I took this school and each of us passed our driving tests the first try.

Negative experience: I realized immediately after signing up for Alliance that I made a mistake. I could not navigate through their website to verify the class I signed up for. Then, within 5 minutes of signing up and realizing it was not the program I wanted, I requested a refund. I sent emails and left voicemails to no avail. Eventually, someone replied. They said that I would not receive my refund for 30 days. When the check arrived they deducted 3% PayPal fee and a $25.00 administrative fee. I run a business and use PayPal for processing payments. If I refund my customers payments to them PayPal refunds their fees to me. Also, I refund immediately without putting my customers through this waiting game. I am not sure why they don't have that capability. This is a poorly operated business! The driving school we went with (American Driving School) was definitely a lot more professional and a joy to work with.

Fantastic experience: I am so glad that I passed my driving test with only two minor faults. I am thankful for what I have learned from my instructor Sonya. She is amazing, full of energy and passionate in teaching. I would highly recommend “Alliance Defensive Driving School”.
